Let me just start off saying that Teutonia is, without a doubt, the highest quality stroller I have ever seen.  The quality was immediately apparent from the moment that I opened the box.  All of the parts are very durable and feel incredibly solid.   Assembly was a snap and took almost no time at all too. When compared to other strollers there were substantially fewer parts, which just makes life easier, right?  It’s nice to have something with fewer parts, seeing as how you have SO many other things to remember (and forget!) with your new little bundle in tow now.

The car seat attachment was easily installed and worked very well with our little Honda CRV.  Detaching and reattaching the base to the car seat and the stroller are also easily accomplished thanks to the simple and effective design.  Gotta love the Germans!  All of the release levers are bright blue, and therefore are quite obvious.  Simply squeeze a lever and it releases!  Merely slide the pieces until they click into place to attach them securely again.  Easy and effective!  What’s not to love?

Speaking of design, the stroller looks amazing and there are SO many customizable options.  Matching diaper bag?  Yes!  Hand warmer for mom and dad anyone??  Yes!  Only one on the market, and too too cute.  You’ll be so posh in your Teutonia!  Best thing about it?  The customizable features.  You just don’t see strollers like this everyday!  The fabrics are all very high quality, but it really is the unique modern design of the stroller itself that will turn heads, and turn heads it does!  The aircraft grade aluminum alloy is gorgeous and absolutely sets it apart from most other strollers that you see.

When it comes to comfort, well the best I can say is something a friend of mine said when they saw it: “That thing looks more comfortable than my couch!”  The nice padded seat ensures your child’s comfort.  The handle on the t-300 (the chasis that we reviewed) is completely reversible, which enables you to quickly change the way your child is facing so they will be protected from the sun, wind, rain, or just get to see a better view.  The canopy is easily adjusted to protect your baby from getting too much sun, and the canopy on the t-stroller seat pulls down to completely cover your child. The fabric includes UV protection and is water resistant, so you can be sure that your little one is safe.

The stroller is a little heavy, but rightfully so.  The particular frame we chose – the t-300 – is not one I would suggest for someone who will need to do a lot of lifting of their stroller. For us, it is perfect because we can fold it and load it into the back of our vehicle and drive to the mall or the park or wherever we need to go. However, for someone who needs to ride the subway in a city, etc., it definitely would not be ideal, I would have to suggest one of their smaller frames like the T-100 or t-200 for that.

Lastly I can’t forget to mention how well this baby handles. I think the shocks are better than what I had on my first car. The ride is so smooth that I could hardly believe I was on gravel walking around the mall at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. (all the other strollers there were like rickety old wagons compared to my Mercedes Benz ride)!

All and all I was blown away with this stroller. From a design standpoint there is nothing like it and you won’t find a more comfortable ride or better handling. Time for chapter two of our Teutonia Experience. Get ready to customize customize customize!

The biggest thing that Teutonia touts is the ability to completely customize your stroller. Which, as we talked about before, is a great benefit for those of us who like to be totally unique. It’s also beneficial for those of us who know exactly what we want, and want exactly that. There are several ways to do this, the main ones being to go to the Teutonia website or to find a dealer and ordering through them.

You’ll start by choosing a chassis. There are three options. All of them are made from aluminum, have full independent wheel suspension, and adjustable handles.

• The T-100, at under 20 lbs., is the lightest option. It still offers the smooth, comfortable ride that all Teutonias are known for.
• If you’re looking for a sportier stroller, the T-200 will be the one for you. It’s under 22 lbs. with the wheels.
• At a whopping 26 lbs. with the wheels, the T-300 is the most luxurious and versatile model. Because we always bring you the best of the best, we’ve chosen to review the T-300.

After you’ve decided on a chassis, you’ll pick out the wheels, which are both tubeless, and maintenance free (no need for a pump! The tires contain an air-filled chamber, and don’t get flats). Choosing between the Explore 50 and Metro 60 seems to be purely up to your own taste. Both offer a smooth ride and stylish looks. We went for the Explore 50, for a more traditional look.

Choosing our fabric certainly proved to be a difficult task. At first, we were leaning towards the Jasper Brown. Then we thought that the Venetian Red was nice. But when it came down to it, we decided that the Peridot Green would look the nicest with aluminum of the chassis. You can also get accent and designer fabrics to give your stroller that extra bit of customization. We’ll review the t-reversible seat insert, but won’t be reviewing any additional fabric accents. For seating, we’ll be reviewing both the t-stroller (toddler) seat and the t-tario 32 infant car seat (for those of you considering that as well).

It was only last year that Newell Rubbermaid, the company that owns Graco and bought Teutonia, started bringing the German stroller brand into the US market. Ever since, we’ve been dying to get our hands on one for review. There aren’t many reviews to be found, since the stroller is fairly new to the US. It’s a gorgeous stroller and the absolute smoothest ride. Not only that, but it is COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZABLE. As a designer, this is a huge plus for me. However, I’m sure most moms would love to design their own stroller. After all, when you’ve designed your own, you know that the chances of someone else you know having the same stroller as you with the same chassis, wheels, and colors, is highly unlikely. Your stroller will be completely unique.

From the moment that you lay eyes on this baby, it’s got you. It’s look is very upscale and chic, but this stroller’s got magnificent functionality and adaptability as it’s best features.  It’s perfect for any family on the go… no matter where it is that you’re going!

The wheels on the stroller are noticeably different than other strollers out there as well… not that you missed it!  Well it’s not just to set it apart in the looks department, this really adds so much to its maneuverability as well as it’s resistance to tipping!!  Way to go!  The front wheels are rubber coated, and the big rear wheels are pneumatic.  You can also switch out the small front wheels for pneumatic ones with the All Terrain Kit for those of you who prefer happy trails to sidewalks.  (Oh, look at yourself… sooo rugged!!!)

Micralite includes a waterproof foot muff that matches the canopy that is incredible for those cold and blustery days, and a rain cover for the wet weather.  You can also add on the Sun & Bug Shield for warmer and buggier weather… or just to keep anyone from reaching in and pinching those chubby little cheeks!

The Toro adapts to all major infant car seat brands, the under seat storage is quite reasonably sized, the bumper bar in the front is removable, and the fold…oh my, almost forgot the fold!!  The fold is utterly unbeatable!  It literally takes one hand and a second to fold and unfold this beauty!  One hand for the stroller, one hand for everything else!  Yayee multitaskers!!!  It’s available in four fabulous colors (orange, green, sand and black) and all fits very easily into its own luggage grade storage bag too!  This is a hard-core bag made for the goofballs handling your luggage, so no worries!  Special thanks to the airlines here for NEEDING a bag this sturdy to transport your premium stroller!

So I have to say, I use this handy little bag from Fleurville ALL THE TIME!  It’s in my purse.  It’s instead of my purse.  It’s on my stroller.  It’s my essentials kit.  It’s the clean pacifier holder.  It’s my lip gloss, Rescue Remedy, pen, paper, credit card and GO bag.  It’s SO darned handy.  I had to pass it on.

Best features?  Clip on strap to go around anything securely, made of durable and fashionable oilcloth, pretty interior that cleans up easily, AND it’s just plain cool.   At the playground today after our walk I realized that it’s surely one of our Favorite Things.  Trust me, you simply MUST have one.

Phil&teds has done a simply amazing job on their Double Inline Sport Stroller! Luxurious form and unbeatable function in one great package describes this stroller perfectly. It is a brilliant design and the ultimate all-in-one for any chic family on the go. It’s like a Swiss Army Knife met the new Range Rover Sport, and they had a baby stroller together…follow me:)? It incorporates luxury, excellent craftsmanship, uncomparable functionality and a really stylish look.

Specifically, I loved the noticeably comfortable adjustable handle, the smoothness of it’s movement and tight turning radius the most. It really handles so well! I also thought it was so clever how the front wheel locks into place for function as a jogging stroller, and then releases to be the smoothest steering ever!

My very favorite thing about the stroller is it’s unique totally-flat newborn position which is best for babies, while the toddler sits securely on top! This double kit system allows two kids to share the same stroller in many different configurations. Also, an infant car seat can snap in securely with their infant car seat attachment.

It is called the Oko by Italtrike and it is the coolest tricycle ever! The first time that I saw it I really liked it, but after using it and testing it out a little, I love it! Where do I start? The super mod Italian design, its’ great functionality, safety features, or high-quality construction? It’s a very well rounded product and one that you are sure to be very happy with.

One really fun thing about it is that it has replaced our stroller now when we go to the zoo or out on a walk! I can steer it pretty easily and Isabella has a LOT more fun than being strapped into a stroller! I love that this toy will be with us for a while too. The parent handle bar thingie adjusts it’s height for your comfort, but is also removable once they can steer on their own. The seat adjusts for height and the three point safety harness can also be removed completely. One thing that we found about the safety harness is that rather than doing the over-the-shoulders style, I put them around her waist. I think that for really little ones it is more secure.

It comes in blue and orange and is sure to please. It even won the prestigious 2007 Top Toy of the Year honor, in the ride-on category, awarded by Creative Child Magazine ! Cars are to my husband as strollers are to me. When I was pregnant with Isabella I can remember our conversation going something like “HOW MUCH for WHAT???” I asked him to think of it as our baby’s car and at that point it clicked. Now he completely notices what other babies are driving and is so happy that we went for something reeeally nice:). It’s pretty funny.

So we just bought the new Mini Cooper S. It is gorgeous and we absolutely love it! Despite it’s seemingly teency size it is surprisingly roomy, absolutely luxurious, and it drives like a rocket! Our dilemma came when we realized that our lovely full sized Bertini stroller (think traditional pram) would never even think of fitting in the teeny (and I DO mean tiny) trunk. It’s like they were made for each other! We are just so happy with it and it definitely gets the Bellaziza Vote!
