V.I.P. SWAG: We Get Worked Up Over UPPA Baby!

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

uppaimage2

Never did we think that we would have a favorite triple stroller here at Bellaziza’s Favorite Things! I mean, really, what comes to mind when you think triple stroller? Something wide, something plaid, something that beeps when it backs up? Well UPPA Baby has upped the ante on triple strollers with their VISTA stroller and ugly is most certainly not what you get.

vista_groupThe VISTA makes walking through the park with even one baby a, well, walk in the park! With a single click, your baby can face forwards or back towards you…and in such a stylish way! Sleek and silver, with many fabric color choices, this stroller is easy on the arms as you fold it and lift it into your trunk and easy on the eyes as you enjoy the fashion consciousness of it all.

Don’t you just love when things make your life easier while looking like eye candy!? I know I do!

uppababy-vista-rumble-seatSo back to the UPPA Baby VISTA serving as a triple stroller. You know, without the need for a wide load sign. It’s a snap to go from walking in the park with one baby to two babies…or toddlers…or children…I think you get the idea. With a simple twist, the lightweight rumbleseat attaches to the front of the stroller. Just toss another kid in there and off you go.

uppa-baby-piggyback-ride-on-board-30This stroller is perfect for families that plan on having more than one child, as you can add components as you need them. To use the VISTA as a triple stroller, simply add on the piggy back board and your older child is set to ride! Of course, this wouldn’t be suitable for triplets, but if you have three children close in age, it’s a PERFECT FIT!!

uppababy-foldedDid I mention that the handlebar height is adjustable? And that it folds to an extremely compact state of being? And the sun canopy really comes all the way down? And the storage compartment underneath is actually accessible? And that this bad boy is sweet to look at?

Oh, yes. I did mention that. I remember now.

So, friends, no need to grab your earrings before you go out with the kids. The UPPA Baby VISTA stroller is all the accessory you’ll ever need! It makes you look good, and it works so well it makes you feel good, too!! It is Bellaziza’s Favorite Triple Stroller, and we’re going to SWAG one lucky V.I.P. reader!

Praying for Stellan… Join Us Please!!!

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

You may have noticed the “Praying for Stellan” button at the top of our site recently.  It’s linked to our friend and Bellaziza Contributor Jennifer “MckMama” McKinney’s blog, www.MyCharmingKids.net.  Her little boy Stellan’s health has been a series of miracles since even before his birth, as many of you know, and he has had an especially difficult time beginning just nine days ago.  Stellan has a very sick little heart.

Jennifer and her family covet your thoughts and prayers and we wanted to let all of our wonderful readers know about what has been happening.  Please feel free to comment here or on her blog with get well wishes, thoughts and prayers for one of our very Favorite families:).

Click Here if you’d like to follow MckMama on Twitter for updates on Stellan’s condition, and also, check out the Stellan Name Gallery – so much fun!  We even had some fun and gave it a go for little Stellan, spelling his name out in Bellaziza Barrettes!  We used barrettes from our Crochet collection, Stellan’s big sister “Small Fry’s” Favorite!

MckMama Review: The Superb Svan High Chair!!

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

At the intersection of flair and function, simplicity and style…that’s where I love to reside!  I’m no snob and can certainly tolerate and appreciate less expensive generic branded items, but often times a great, gorgeous, high-end product really is worth the extra dough!  For the price, the Scandinavian Svan High Chair will bring a lot of bang for your buck!!  We found the BEST DEAL on one from Amazon.com for the amazing price of $239.95!!

With the Svan, modern meets practical and the result is impressive!  It’s a sleek, easy-to-assemble high chair that takes up scads less space in our dining room , is incredibly lightweight at less than 20 pounds and matches our other wood furniture nicely!!  And we love the available accessories like the BPA-free machine-washable seat cushion and the PBA-free dishwasher safe tray cover (which comes with the high chair and can also be bought separately as well!!)

One glance at the unique looking Svan will tell you that style was a factor in its design.  Yet the form and function of this fabulous high chair are not to be disregarded.  It is so simple to put our daughter into and out of the Svan, and the removable feeding tray pulls so closely to her tummy that she can neither escape nor drop as much food into her lap.  But who would want to escape the Svan anyway?  It’s easy to clean, compact, streamlined and very easy on the eyes!

You just might get more compliments on it than you do on the artwork on your walls!  The Svan truly is a piece of art in and of itself.  The fact that, in our home, it doubles as a fashionable stereo stand makes this great high chair all the more enticing.

Additionally, the child’s feet can rest on an adjustable ledge, and the high chair can become a toddler booster and eventually even a seat for a preteen (it can hold up to 250 pounds!!) making the investment that much more worth it!  To add even more to this total-package, the Svan is also JPMA/ASTM safety certified and comes with a 2 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty!!

Durable and attractive, timeless yet unique, our Svan has earned itself a permanent position in our home!  I would be willing to bet that you’d enjoy it if a Svan took up residence in your home too!

Drumroll, please… Introducing MckMama!

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

Thank you, thank you.  First off, I’d like to thank the Academy…

Oh, sorry.  What’s that?  I didn’t just win an Oscar?  Ahem.  Sorry about that.  But being chosen to be a part of Bellaziza’s Favorites is almost as good, isn’t it?

I think so.

Anyway, let me take a moment to introduce myself.  My name is MckMama.  I love babywearing while eating hummus and have learned to duck when any of our small children yell, “Wook out!!”

Oh, and I love really nice things.  And talking.  So, as a new contributor to Bellaziza’s Favorite Things, I’m going to be talking about some really nice things.  It works out rather well, if I do say so myself.  I wonder if there will be hummus here?

Anyway, when I’m not spilling the beans about tons of great goodies here, I’m back home tending to the many needs of my small children. Well, that and blogging about how crazy and beautiful life with a four year old, a two year old, a one year old and a new baby can be. But don’t just take my word for it, check our more MckMama madness at My Charming Kids!!!

And before you know it, I’ll be back here to share about some fabulous finds (tune in next week!)… and maybe someday I’ll win that Oscar…
