I don’t know about you, but I have had enough of those big brightly colored tubs the town gives you for recycling!  Could they be any less chic?!  I love the ideas I found below for making a recycling space in your home with some attractive containers and a little imagination!

The Inspired Room posted this picture to the left which really did inspire me!  I love the idea of the hideaway containers.  Now if I can just find a cute little nook like that!

Sweet dreams Baby, we’ve SO got you covered!  You’ve been waiting so patiently for 101 and here it is!!!  We’ve looked all over for our Favorite Crib and we are in good company with our choice of celebumom favorite Bratt Decor!  From cribs to dressers, cradles to big kid beds, Bratt Decor truly has it all.  Their quality is unmatched and their unique style is absolutely breathtaking.

We reviewed the Casablanca Premiere Crib in Venitian Gold… WHICH, ahem, just happens to be the same crib that diva-turned-mommy Jennifer Lopez’s babies Max and Emme dream in too!  Just one look and there’s no wondering why.  It’s truly fit for royalty.  Each and every detail was captured with such magnificent quality and craftsmanship that it makes it a shame that your little one will only be in it for a few years!  Oops, they thought of that too as it fully converts into a toddler sized day bed (no additional kit necessary too)!  But do they come in a Queen or King?  I want to be spoiled Bratt!!!

The most unique feature of the crib is that the bar of scrollwork at the bottom of the crib actually pushes in to release the gate!  It’s so nice when the mechanics of something are hidden behind flourishy scrollwork, isn’t it?!?!  It was really quite easy to set up too.  The instructions were very clear and fit nicely with the included allen wrench into a permanent plastic pocket between the crib mattress and the springs for when you go to disassemble and reassemble.  VERY smart thinking.

It easily adjusts to multiple levels and the side raises and lowers so smoothly that that alone justifies a finer crib purchase, in our opinion.  How does anyone justify spending over half of the cost of this gorgeous work of art on a mediocre crib that will barely last through even one child?  For us, it’s better to spend more and buy only once.  Bratt’s cribs are truly heairloom quality their prices are reasonable and their designs are timeless.  It’s absolutely the perfect crib in our opinion, and therefore another one of Bellaziza’s Favorite Things.

Okay class!  Settle down, settle down.  So you want to design the perfect nursery?  Okay.  Well, first you start off with… well never mind THAT.  We’ll come back it though…I PROMISE.  (The suspense is killing you isn’t it?!?!)  We’re just different here.  We’re simply doing 102 first:)!

Bedding!  Yes, you simply must must must have the perfect crib bedding for your new little bundle!  It absolutely has to be super soft, incredibly well-made, and with details and accessories to die for, dahhhling!  We’ve found it and knew you’d just love us for it.  It’s from the sweetest little jewel of a company called Pixie Dust Decor!  We just loved their newest addition to their line, Chateau Charlotte/Column.  We just loved those little French-inspired Madelinesque illustrations and thought it would be an elegant choice for a girl or a boy!  Although predominantly blue, you could definitely pink it up!

The wash test revealed amazing results.  It resisted stains with flying colors and if removed promptly from a gentle wash, flattened and laid out to dry, it required very minimal ironing and came out looking NEW!!!  We especially loved the softness of this collection’s fabrics for baby’s skin.  Their woven cottons are a luxurious high thread count; very soft and will stand up to some serious washing and use.  (They’re also all available for purchase by the yard!)  The other fabric is just luscious though!  It’s almost like a minky fabric, but with a shorter pile.  It is used as the backing of their bibs, burpcloths and blankets and really makes the collection not only gorgeous, but so very practical!  The blankets are nicely sized and the texture of the fabrics make for a surprisingly good swaddle:)!
