SWAG ALERT: Meet Coco, Best Baby Bouncer By Bloom Baby!!!

SWAGBloomBabyCOCO

That’s a lot of B’s, I know… hehe!  Well, it REALLY is!  The Coco Lounger is the name… and style, quality and function is the game!  Bloom Baby’s Coco Lounger takes the cake in every way and is most definitely our very Favorite baby bouncer!

It’s look is what caught our eye first.  It’s simply gorgeous and qualifies as “baby’s first art piece” in our (humble!) opinion for sure;)!

Yes it has very clean lines, but does it CLEAN UP?  Absolutely!!!  The faux leather is super soft for your sweet one and also cleans up like new through anything without effort.  Big plus for any new momma!!

We used ours for well over six months as it’s a great place for any baby to enjoy a bottle or even nap.  Imagine a hammock and that gentle gliding motion.  It’s smooth and not a dramatic movement – a little bit bounce, a little bit rock.  Perfect in our books!  It also comes in a slew of tasteful colors and a choice of wood or Plexiglas to suit any decor.

The Coco Lounger is great but what’s better is the commitment that Bloom Baby has to providing parents with safe, beautiful and (VERY) eco-friendly options for their children!  This was one thing that I was SO impressed with when I had the opportunity to talk with Simon May, one of the founders of Bloom Baby and one of the “Four Dads” behind the brand.  We had a great talk about Bloom and their commitment to “safety, style and sustainability”.  Bloom really is a company that you can get behind and believe in, but not only because of the great products!  They really do walk the walk.  Take a look at the following that I pulled off of their website:

“Every bloom product exceeds all applicable safety standards and regulations.  we proactively minimize the use of harmful chemicals and processes in our products and manufacturing, our products are certified compliant with 2009 USA CPSIA requirements
All bloom products are independently tested and certified to be lead free, phthalate free, PVC free, heavy metal free, and AZO dye free.
We do not use polycarbonate in food access areas of products and use higher quality FDA-approved food-contact grade plastics on food contact surfaces.
Bloom wooden products are free of wood PCP and other toxic wood preservatives, fiberboard (MDF) free, use formaldehyde-free adhesive, low voc finishes and originate from certified sustainable beech and birch wood forests.
Bloom prohibits the use of wood from intact natural forests, high conservation value forests, protected areas, and high value tropical wood species.”

Love, love, love!  In this age of product recalls and shady manufacturing, etc, it’s so nice as a mom to see a company that cares.

Thanks Bloom!

Yours truly,

Isabella and Camilla’s Mommy.

I'm glad they're so safe and baby friendly and yucky-stuff-free! But these bouncers are absolutely beautiful! That's the real draw for me.

Being environmentally responsible is very important. Quality, wood products are better for babies. I am not a fan of plastic and find a hard time escaping from its outgassery! ;) i do subscribe :)

  • amie

I remember when I first saw these in a store and started drooling over them when we were expecting our baby, it was out of our reach and she's to big for it now but I still dream for baby number 2. To add to that it's safety features makes it even more desireable. The biggest deal for me is the absence of harmful chemicals and toxins. We'll always spend extra to choose a brand that goes above and beyond the national standards for this, it shows they care about what we care about. i only want to but my baby in something as safe as my own arms.

It really means everything to me too how responsible they are. I'm trading out all the plastic baby equipment for wood with our next baby. (Not to mention the bouncer I bought broke!! Definitely not cool.)

It is so awesome to find a gem like this company!! Its so important for everyone to start being even more environmentally conscience…beginning at the stores and companys suppling the products!! I love it!!

  • Aisling

I really appreciate that the four dads of Bloom believe in and practice safety and environmental sustainability in their creative process. Their product descriptions clearly identify the products used and that's extremely important to me (and to my kids and their kids and their kids).

I feel confident in knowing that Bloom Baby is conscious and responsible and cares about my children. Not many company's are like that now days so it gives me comfort in knowing a company that makes products that is. I'm definitely wanting to win this, or try and buy something like it one day! Thanks! :)

  • kdun33

Children are so precious, and in these days of so many product recalls (China!), it is so important that thought goes into the safety and sustainability of kids' products. Plus, our babies are totally dependent on us as parents, so shouldn't we be doing only the best for them??

  • Courtney

I have had this on my registry forever! What sold me WAS Bloom's commitment to safe products and materials. Well, okay, and how beautiful the design is! As an interior designer, I just can't imagine bringing home a different bouncer that would compete with my decor. Now, I don't have to!

Knowing that their products are safe and eco-friendly makes me more likely to purchase their products rather than bigger brand names like Graco. Plus..everything is just so much more stylish! Great job Bloom! =)

  • Sarah G.

I think it's wonderful! No worries about nasty chemicals being at my baby. That's a huge mind reliever.

  • aahaft

Toys and baby equipment today are all plastic, colorful and loud- but do they last? Mostly they end up in landfills and polluting our environment. Do you remember toys from when we were little? They were made from wood, they were simple, they allowed for imagination and they LASTED! I'm not much for the vintage look but I do love the quality. The biggest issue with vintage children items are safety and recalls. Well Bloom seems to have solved that problem. They have simplified, well made solid modern products that kids love and that last!! Best of all they're beautiful! The bloom coco has no loud music or strange vibrations just smooth rocking to soothe the baby- and it's a pretty item that isn't an eyesore in the home. I love that they EXCEED safety standards. Bloom is so eco conscious being a paper free workplace and only using wood from protected forests. This rocker is one item that will be around for your grandchildren in a world Bloom is making sure is still around for them as well.

  • aahaft

knowing that a company is conscious enough to protect the environment during production shows they really care. Care enough to make a well thought out product that is the safest for children

Every time I see a new piece of baby furniture I love it seems to be made by bloom. My dream crib? I've been drooling over the Luxo- the curved slightly rounded design, solid birchwood… Not only does it come in a cool 2 toned white and cappucino colors(don't worry they come in solid colors as well) but you can choose to buy one with a fixed or adjustable side rail. And my favorite part?? It can be folded- without any tools!!!! I can't even tell you what a pain assembling and dis-assembling (and losing screws) can be, and storing all the huge bulky pieces too. You think they just stopped at that??? NO way! You can buy a bed rail to turn it into a toddler bed and a universal change tray that lays on top of the rails as a changing table. The Bloom furniture is just so versatile, they think of everything!! They were nice enough to include a waterproof pad and terry cover with the changing tray and its compatible with most modern cribs and changing tables including their portable crib- the alma. It's a good thing this crib is so eco friendly, safe and built so solidly because it's something I would want to hold on to for a long time!

  • Wendy W.

Since when does Eco-conscious mean designer let down? I love how modern this looks and honestly, for a bouncer, you can't get anything as sleek anywhere. I love how baby reclines in this more so than other bouncers. Don't get me wrong, our three month old loves his simple bouncer, but I'm really impressed by the design of the snug and how you can rock your child to sleep. Speaking of Eco-friendly, 100% bamboo fabric is a plus, (our changing mat consists of the same material and is fabulous), and anti-allergenic puts me at ease considering my husband and I both suffer from allergies. Anything anti-bacterial, anti-allergenic, and safe for my child and the environment is a must have.

Today I became a Facebook fan.

Ask most parents what they do to protect their children from harm and sickness and most people would say everything in their power. What most people don't realize is the furniture in their kids rooms can make them sick. MDF (medium density fiberboard) is found in many cribs dressers and bookshelfs and it off gases formaldehyde a known cause of asthma and allergies. Luckily there are companies like Bloom who take care of the families and put safe furniture on the market. So while many parents will buy the Bloom bouncer, cribs or dresser for their modern looks they are actually one step closer to protecting their children.

  • Wendy W.

When I found out I was pregnant, I was instantly attracted to Bloom's products. From their high chairs to their cribs, everything was so innovative and beautifully designed; the Coco Bouncer is no exception. Not only are harmful chemicals in Bloom's products minimized, but they are CPSIA compliant. Now the mother of a new baby, I've found myself more aware of how environmentally safe my child's toys are and Bloom is a fantastic company. Their collection is lead free, PVC free, heavy metal free, and AZO dye free. It's great to see a company who is environmentally conscious and who remains green as our children deserve to grow up with resources that they might not be afforded without the green movement.

  • Wendy W.

I love the wooden coco bouncer. It's important to me that Bloom uses formaldehyde free adhesives and non-toxic preservatives because I am overly concerned about what these chemicals will do to my baby's future health. I also think it's fantastic that their wood is from sustainable forests as they believe in forest conservation.

  • Wendy W.

Not only is the coco baby bouncer modern and stylish, all finishes comply with international safety standards, it is lead free, and coco plexistyle is manufactured using recyclable acrylic. I think Bloom's commitment to the environment is a stand that more companies should take so that we can make a big difference in the world. I want my children to grow up with resources that I had, as well as their grandparents.
