1. These are not meant to be worn as underwear. They are specifically designed to be worn over underwear and provide extra coverage.

2. If you child wears an odd size in jeans (3 or 5) we recommend sizing up to the next even size. Francie pants are meant to be close fitting like activewear/dance wear. Some parents prefer to order up two sizes for a loose fitting short.

If in doubt about the fit, we recommend ordering a “test” pair. You can always exchange the size and order additional pairs later. We offer free shipping on larger orders so this is a safe way to test!

Francie pants are such a staple of our kid's wardrobes. We find they wear the shorts at least once or twice per week. They hold up really well in the wash and we often hear about how the shorts are passed down to littler sisters, and still keep on going and keep em cartwheeling. We're very proud of that value.
