We can only trust our God to guide us through the knowledge we have and the peace He gives. It is one of the hardest things I have had to deal with yet as a mother ... Getting no immunizations does not seem smart to me. And getting every single one as soon as you can without doing research is not smart either. If regular immunizations worry you, you can request preservative free ones and take a slow paced immunization schedule. We have never received flu shots and will not be getting the H1N1 even though their school is giving it out for free. I just do not feel comfortable with it. If we were in a higher risk category, I guess I would consider it more seriously. My boys have received their regular immunizations, beyond that, I am more hesitant. Informed decision making is a goal for all moms and dads for sure, in my opinion. I have to say that I'm having some problems with the whole vaccination thing in general though. I have found an abundance of information for sure. It all seems so extreme though - one way or the other. That group including pregnant women and children under 2. He actually said at the end of the interview that those in the high risk groups should view helath care workers getting vacinated and take it as an encouragement.
