The Teutonia Experience!

It was only last year that Newell Rubbermaid, the company that owns Graco and bought Teutonia, started bringing the German stroller brand into the US market. Ever since, we’ve been dying to get our hands on one for review. There aren’t many reviews to be found, since the stroller is fairly new to the US. It’s a gorgeous stroller and the absolute smoothest ride. Not only that, but it is COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZABLE. As a designer, this is a huge plus for me. However, I’m sure most moms would love to design their own stroller. After all, when you’ve designed your own, you know that the chances of someone else you know having the same stroller as you with the same chassis, wheels, and colors, is highly unlikely. Your stroller will be completely unique.

We’re pleased to announce that over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing the entire process: From designing the perfect stroller, to a full review of the stroller itself. We’re excited – and you should be too! This baby surely is the original Mercedes Benz of strollers!

We’ve received the swatches, and the fabric choices are absolutely gorgeous. So much, in fact, that it is going to be very difficult to make a choice.  Visit their website to check out all of the customization you can do to this baby. And all those fabric choices!

What choices would YOU make?

Also, check out the great Teutonia review and giveaway on one of our Favorite Blogs, Celebrity Baby Blog!  They reviewed their own Teutonia model, so do click through for more info and another (hint, hint!) chance to win one of these magnificent strollers!  Would any of YOU like us to post some of our own TEUTONIA SWAG???

As nice as it is to be able to see the various options and pick from fabric swatches, the Teutonia has so many customizable options that it would be really neat if they put a FLASH demo up where you could pick the frame, seat, fabrics, and accessories, as the completed example comes up on the screen. Something similar to car websites... where, in the end, you see how much your design costs.

Ahhh, I like the idea of being able to pick my own fabric combination.

I think I'd go for the T-200 with the metro-60 wheels, and t-stroller seat in peridot green and kingston lapis accents. Besides that, I'd definitely opt for the mosquito net (living in Florida) to make nightly strolls with the little one less of a hassle.

i pieced together the following for a gender neutral look:
t-200 chassis, metro-60 wheels, t-carrycot in riverstone stripe, t-stroller seat in umber beige with a t-duo cushion in moonstone linen, t-footmuff in jasper brown and a t-liner in jasper brown.

so many options! though i'd probably change my mind if i knew it was a boy or girl!
  • I would choose the 200, with the explorer 50 wheels, t-stroller set in ruby rain. or the baxter, I am unsure :)

I love the air filled tires. As for choices...I would pick the t-200 (love the hand break) with the Prussian blue seat and the explore 60 wheels. I would have to get the matching car seat too. I like the moonstone/blue accent for the duo cushion and the footmuff is great.

  • I checked out their site, and you're right... they DO have some amazing fabrics ~ I'd love to see you guys post some of your own Teutonia Swag!
  • oh yeah My favorite fabric style was the ruby rain... Maybe because I have all girls..lol
  • Okay, I loved these products and all the lines they had. The wooden scooter was an awesome idea I wish I would have thought of myself. I Like the high chair and child seat they had available and the best thing about them were the unique style each had. All of these products were things I had never seen before and that was the best part of this site.

I would choose the t-300 with the t-stroller seat in peridot green. What a fun idea, and you know that everyone you see wouldn't be pushing the same stroller.
  • Amie
Having said that...I just love the carry cot too and all the fabric combos

  • What a wonderful site and fun to see the different builds of the stroller. I really like the t-200 frame for sure, I would ass the t stroller seat frame in Plum Garden , wow this would be darling for my daughter. She is #4 in our family and a new stroller would be amazing to have. The site was fun to visit and the stroller Is definatley something to drool over. Thanks for the giveaway . lil_lolas@hotmail.com

We have the T-200 with the seat in black and added the moonstone linen insert! It is an awesome stroller- perfect for longer walks and navigating city curbs and bad sidewalks. And the diaper bag is one of the best on the market!
  • Jess
I want a T-200 with the metro 60 wheels in a burnt sienna. Love it!!
  • Alexis R
I picked the T-300 with the Metro 50 wheels, and the T-Stroller seat in Venetian Red. Well, actually, my 3-yo DS is sitting here, and he chose Venetian Red (it's his favorite color, lol).

    Thanks! :)
  • I picked the t-300 series with the explore 50 wheels and then added the t-stroller seat in Ruby Rain fashion! That was fun! What a great website thanks for sharing :)
