#SWAGALERT: The Micralite Toro, Our Favorite Travel Stroller!!!

From the moment that you lay eyes on this baby, it’s got you. It’s look is very upscale and chic, but this stroller’s got magnificent functionality and adaptability as it’s best features.  It’s perfect for any family on the go… no matter where it is that you’re going!

The Micralite Toro as it comes out of the box is already assembled for the most part. Yayee! Simply snap on the wheels and it’s ready to roll.  It’s got a great braking system and is the best one-handed push that we’ve seen yet. SO comfortable for both you and your sweetie!   The recline is so smooth and goes from a full recline to straight up (with a few other options in the middle) without any effort.  By itself, it’s suitable from 6 months to 40 lb, but they also offer a carrycot for the little babies!

The wheels on the stroller are noticeably different than other strollers out there as well… not that you missed it!  Well it’s not just to set it apart in the looks department, this really adds so much to its maneuverability as well as it’s resistance to tipping!!  Way to go!  The front wheels are rubber coated, and the big rear wheels are pneumatic.  You can also switch out the small front wheels for pneumatic ones with the All Terrain Kit for those of you who prefer happy trails to sidewalks.  (Oh, look at yourself… sooo rugged!!!)

Micralite includes a waterproof foot muff that matches the canopy that is incredible for those cold and blustery days, and a rain cover for the wet weather.  You can also add on the Sun & Bug Shield for warmer and buggier weather… or just to keep anyone from reaching in and pinching those chubby little cheeks!

The Toro adapts to all major infant car seat brands, the under seat storage is quite reasonably sized, the bumper bar in the front is removable, and the fold…oh my, almost forgot the fold!!  The fold is utterly unbeatable!  It literally takes one hand and a second to fold and unfold this beauty!  One hand for the stroller, one hand for everything else!  Yayee multitaskers!!!  It’s available in four fabulous colors (orange, green, sand and black) and all fits very easily into its own luggage grade storage bag too!  This is a hard-core bag made for the goofballs handling your luggage, so no worries!  Special thanks to the airlines here for NEEDING a bag this sturdy to transport your premium stroller!

So wherever it is that you and your family plan to go this year, sun, rain, sleet, snow, plane, train, automobile… or just home, the Micralite Toro is the ideal choice as your single stroller.  It’s the all-in-one, all weather, on road / off road, smooth as silk, airport friendly, mega chic stroller that we’ve ALL been looking for!  CLICK HERE for more info or CLICK HERE to purchase from our friends at Let’s Go Strolling who ship for free!!!

Want to see it in motion?  CLICK HERE to check out our friend Candace’s video review of the Micralite Toro on her fabulous blog Mom Most Traveled!

SWAG ALERT:  To win your very own Micralite Toro Stroller, simply visit Micralite’s Website and leave your comment here letting them know what you think about their fabulous products!!!  You know how it works and what to do :) .  This SWAG ALERT will be open for daily entry until  we say stop, so enter while you can:)!!!

  • Margaret Smith

I love how well made these are and how easy they are to operate. I also like that it has a fully reclining seat.
    Thanks so much.

  • Pam W

This stroller is amazing! I love the functionality of it and the fact that I can have one hand free to help my preschooler as I push my infant/toddler! And I love the bag!! So tired of luggage, strollers, and carseats getting beat up at the airport…what a great use! Great product!

  • Jamie

I love your products. We travel constantly and have had such a difficult time trying to find a stroller that is airport friendly. This looks wonderful and very compact. Very easy to put together and easy to use.
    The colors are also great!

Wow, the site reminds me of an automaker’s website where you can scroll over each part of the product and get details. It totally is like specking out a car. Classy

There is so much to love about this stroller – the lightweight, compact design, one-handed fold, fun colors…I would love to win!

  • Jenny F.

    I LOVE the emerald color!!!

  • israel y

This stroller is especially attractive to me b/c I live in apartment in new york city where space is limited and elevators are old and small. but I love how compact it is and it easily folds up so i can even just carry it up stairs!

  • erianna

Looks great, the fold especially is awesome, with that travel bag as well. Looks like it would be useful in just about any situation :)

  • Sarah

Awesome stroller! I love all of the accessories it comes with. It folds up so nicely and the vibrant colors are great! It would be perfect for my newborn!

  • Tammy

I had been looking at this stroller for our surprise baby due in Sept. It truly is the only stroller you need as it fits an infant car seat as well. This is a great purchase as it even stands on its own when folded. I do hope I win as it is just out of our price range even though I covet it daily.

  • Mary

The stroller looks very versatile and easy to fold. I was surprised that its compatible with the Graco Snugride carseat, which happens to be the car seat we have for our baby (due next month).

Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  • Jennifer W

I love that the tires absorb shock so that the ride isn’t so bumpy for baby. malls, grocery stores and airports all seem to have sections of bumpy floors.

  • http://mommyreviewed.blogspot.com/ Rashmi

They’re the perfect combination of form and function – I’m so bowled over by their products! I even went and became their fan on Facebook! Thanks for this great discovery – the TORO is exactly what I’m looking for my little baby daughter.

  • Vickie Couturier

I love the ease of folding it,wow, the one I have now it takes two to do the folding an I dont always have someone with me to help,an it being light is wonderful because I usually only have one hand left to carry it an the other one has the baby

  • xenia

Wow, this stroller has it all! I love the strong case for it because it would be heartbreaking to own this and have it get damaged or broken when traveling!

  • http://www.courtneyb613.blogspot.com Courtney B.

Love the stroller! I really like the compact fold. Would like to see some kind of toddler seat attachment for a second child.

  • http://nanja-nansplace.blogspot.com Nancy J

I love the newborn system that is available with the toro stroller!

  • http://kompagne.blogspot.com Elizabeth K.

I love the emerald green color! Looks very versatile and fun too!

  • Kristina

I love love love how the stroller is so compact and light! It would be awesome to have a stroller that would fit in the trunk of my car without taking up all the space!

  • http://kara-organicgirl.blogspot.com/ Kara Pearson

They make amazing products in Europe thats for sure. This stoller weighs like 19 lbs, thats lighter than my daughter. This lightweight and compact feature makes this a very attractive stroller for busy moms on the go. I like that it converts from a newborn to a big kid stroller easily and fits some car seats aswell. thats a bonus right there. Alot of people want alot of use out of the things they buy especially when you are investing in something that is needed for your baby. The colors are amazing and I really like the orange, super smart. Great giveaway :)

Wow. This is AWESOME! I want. It’s so versatile, and I love that it makes a baby carriage.

  • http://www.littlegreenpastures.com Brianna

Oh my gosh! I love that there is a travel bag for this stroller. It’s not only great for flying, but would be perfect for the back of my truck. I’m always piling stuff on top of our current stroller, so inevitably it gets dirty.

  • Andrea

What a great lookig stroller, in nice bright colours. I love being able to change the wheels.

  • Catherine

Okay, what don’t I love? Everything is so chic and fabulous! And I love the one hand fold but I think it is truly genius that they come up with their own travel bag (from personal experience, this is not a luxury but a must have)!

  • JK Lee

I love, LOVE, L-O-V-E how mobile this stroller is! As a transit riding mom-to-be who also loves to walk as much as possible, this would make my life a heck of a lot easier.

  • Cher

I think the company is succeeding at listening to to what parents want. They have a memorable way of ensuring that safety, functionality and ergonomics are the forefront of the priority list when it comes to babies’ well being. Very impressive!

  • Rachel

I love the carrycot – I would love to be able to see my baby’s face. Oh my goodness, I would LOVE to win this! Thanks so much!!

  • http://latterightboys.blogspot.com/ Mocha Mama 24

The green rocks!! I love the idea of a one-handed stroller.

  • jo

This stroller looks so nice and versatile. Love the red one.

  • Aura

This stroller is really amazing. Im an admirer of great design, but sometimes people forget that is not just about looking pretty, it mus be functional. This stroller meets both requirements!

    I waaaaaaaaaaaaaant it lol

  • Sarah Ulfers

My favorite feature is the adjustable handlebars.

  • Sheryl M

Like the single handle, seems it would be much easier to handle when you are trying to maintain control over older siblings. Very cool looking stroller as well. The switch out wheels are fabulous, it would allow you to have one stroller for two tasks…errands, or heavy duty walking.

  • Andrea

I love how detailed the site it. you don’thave to guess about how any of the features work because the site shows everything.

  • http://blogginghallie.blogspot.com abby schrader

Wow! What a great stroller. It would be extremely useful now when I need to get my older daughter (3 year old former micropreemie) to and from therapy on the bus by myself. It looks so light and easy to fold. And later, when she graduates from strollering and I just need one for my little girl (now six months old), it will be a fabulous addition to our stable.

  • http://shawnarwilliamson.blogspot.com/ Shawna Williamson

Awesome stroller!!! I love the foot muff, all weather hood and pump! That is totally cool, no other stroller that I know of can give you all this! It is FABULOUS!

  • http://leftcoastmama.net Gwen

I love how compactly it folds. I wish my jogger folded so compactly.

  • Melissa

I really love that there is a one-handed fold technique!

  • Sohee P.

Wow, I love the versatility of the stroller! I’ve been researching strollers for my 3 mo and I will be checking out the site more thoroughly.

  • http://imnotthatpregnant.blogspot.com/ Emily

I love the design and the single handle bar design.

  • http://thebukiblog.blogspot.com sarah b

i think im in love! love that it can be used from 6 months till 4 years! I could put it to use for a long time!

  • http://keepers-at-home.blogspot.com Christie

I’ve always wanted one of the newborn “bassinet/carriage” style strollers… but I never could justify buying a stroller just for those first months. I LOVE how this converts to adjust perfectly to all stages of “strollerhood” :) And on the videos it looks so simple to do!! This definitely is the one and only stroller you’d ever need! I’m LOVING it!

  • Andrea B

In the picture, it looks like the wheels in front have a wider footprint than in back, which is good when it comes to fitting through narrow spaces. At least you know right away that you can’t fit, instead of like most other strollers, when you’ve already gotten most of the way through, and then have to back it up when it can’t fit.

  • laurie

I never thought I could think a stroller could be perfect, but this seems to fit the bill! Love the canopy that seems so much larger than other models, and especially love the adaptation for newborns!

  • Heather McD

Those are so neat! I love how it has the all weather hood and rain cover on it!

  • Aura

Hey! This is another Aura commenting??? OMG Christa how many strollers do you own?? but I must say you do choose the best! I haven’t had a singleton (yet) but I do know that after extensive research for a friend I narrowed down my favorite high end city stroller to the micralite toro. (not that consumer reports rating as the #1 luxury stroller didn’t help) and you should let people know that until July 31st that at totsonthego.com you can get a free lilliebaby everywear carrier or eurotote

  • http://blog.thestone.org Angela

I love the big wheels, yet the stroller still looks cool. And I love the look of an old-fashioned baby buggy with the carry cot. Cute!

  • Ivy

I would love to win this for one of my best friends. They are expecting their 3rd child and their current stroller is on its last legs (wheels). Having studied design, they would truly appreciate the functionality and versatility of this (and its looks, as well).

    Thanks for the opportunity!

  • http://biggyziggy.blogspot.com Lori Z.

I like how easy it looks to pump up the tires, and that the video is there just in case you need it! Our Jeep jogger is a PAIN!

  • Letessha

These products are my kind of style, I love it.

  • Letessha
  • http://me-lace.blogspot.com lace

I really like all the bold colors the toro comes in. Much better than pastels or characters on the strollers.

  • Danielle

Wow. That is a well thought out stroller. I love the bug screen and the overall design of the stroller. Way to make some luckly moms lives easier – and obviously more fashionable. :) also, the way that stroller travels is absolutely revolutionary! My husband keeps saying we need a bigger car…maybe we just need a better stroller :)

  • http://thebukiblog.blogspot.com sarah b

i love that it has a bag for airport travel, something this nice needs to be protected!

The fully reclining seat is so great – a definite must for younger kids who need to nap in the stroller. This way they can be comfortable, not to mention stylish!

  • Tammy

Love the stroller. The bigger wheels in the back are awesome, and with the option to switch out the front too? That would be great. The carrying case is a wonderful idea. Would be so nice for the airport and travel. What I would like to see on their website? I’d like it if you could find retailers/prices with a “tab” on the product, as opposed to going to the top and kind of starting all over? KWIM? It took me awhile to figure out how to find out the price. Otherwise, super product and a great website.

  • Alexis Richter

I love that you can use this with the infant carseats – didn’t know that! Thanks!!

  • Mary

I love that this stroller is compatible with the Graco Snugride carseat.

This is my daily entry (July 21st).

A travel stroller that is small, light *and* comfortable, what a great idea! I have used other small travel strollers, and the ride is so rattly that baby is uncomfortable. I am sure the rubber/pneumatic wheels on the Micralite Toro take care of this!

  • http://www.januarywish.com/ Melissa

That is one great looking stroller! The all weather hood that it comes with looks fabulous, the stroller I currently have has one that would barely keep my daughters head dry :)

  • Ivy

Daily entry #2. was reading through the website some more to describe it to another friend, and we both love the fact that it fully reclines, yet folds down so compactly.

  • Pam R.

    Awesome products! Great colours!

  • Wendy

The fact that this stroller comes assembled and all the work I would need to do is snap on the wheels is great in itself. I feel like it would be easy to transport your child in a busy area and then fold up and store for a while until your next destination. Also, I like that the stroller is functional for children up to forty pounds.

  • israel y

beautiful colors and just 19 lbs! I also like that there is an extensive step by step demo on their website.

I really like that this stroller comes with a pump to keep the tires full of air, and that it has a zip-on rain cover.

  • Heather R

I love that they come with an all-weather hood and foot muff.

  • Andrea

Love the stroller and all of the accessories that come with it!

  • Dianna Ball

Honestly, what’s NOT to love? The selfish part of me likes that there are so many *included* accessories (love a good bug shield, but not for an extra x amount of cash!). The handle looks neat too. The i-want-my-kiddo-comfy part of me likes that the review says it’s a smooth ride…nice!

    dianna

  • Aura

The price is surprisingly decent considering how many peices it comes with- the seat and bassinet plus an all weather boot, zip on raincover and air pump. Really generous!!

I love the infant system of this stroller — seems really safe and comfortable!

  • Nad

I like that it weighs only 18 lbs!

  • Katie

I love the look of this stroller. I also love that not every mom cruising the mall has one, like the ubiquitous bugaboos. Now add in the fantastic travel friendly package and I’m sold!

  • Darci

Aside from this stroller appearing to be very easy to use and handle, I really like that the company has set high importance to childrens safety and the protection of our environment. Such as lead free stains and finishes, BPA and Phthalate-free plastics, and PBDE-free foam cushions and padding.

  • Catherine

So many fabulous products! My friend had the Beaba and I was very jealous (it looked so easy to use)! But I really love the fact that each product seems designed for parents’ ease, the impact on the environment, children’s happiness but without sacrificing any chicness!

  • http://emilyisland.blogspot.com Emily B.

  • Sarah

This would be perfect for my younger kids who are 21 months apart! What a beautiful stroller! I absolutely love the looks of it and all of the great features!

I love that you can switch out the small front wheels for pneumatic ones with the All Terrain Kit! This is great living in the big city to be able to switch when going off road on hikes!

  • http://www.tiedyediva.etsy.com Jen

I love that its versatility makes up for its rather spendy price tag. Rather than buy an infant stroller system, a travel stroller, and an all terrain stroller, here is one that does all those jobs!

  • Wendy

The Folding and Unfolding your Toro video really makes me want to find one of these strollers in stores. It looks so easy. Not to mention, it’s just as simple to fold back up. I also really like that the stroller comes with a carrying bag.

  • Susannah

I love the functionality and chic design! It goes above and beyond the typical stroller — looks practical, stylish and safe. My husband would even feel proud to push this!

Also — adjustable handlebar — Perfect for short me and tall hubby.

  • http://www.tiedyediva.etsy.com Jen
  • http://thriftycraftmama.blogspot.com maryanne

I love that this stroller comes with a luggage grade case, and that you can fold it with one hand – perfect for travelling with three little ones!

  • Rachel

I love that the handle is adjustable, so my hubby and I can both be comfortable pushing the little one around.

  • xenia

I love that the Toro adapts to all major infant car seat brands, it seems like there are too many strollers that only adapt to the same brand and other infant seats have to be buckled or strapped on to the stroller. A definite plus for the Toro!

  • http://afamilycompleted.blogspot.com Tonya

    I love that it’s lightweight

  • Ivy

Love that it is so lightweight compared to most. (18 lbs)

  • Aura

I wish there were 2 sets of fabrics so you don’t have to take the fabric of the toddler seat when using the bassinet

  • http://thebukiblog.blogspot.com sarah b

the green is my fav. and i love the foot muff. perfect for the cold chicago winters!

  • http://www.tiedyediva.etsy.com Jen

Referred a confirmed subscriber, email beginning with kate@ :)

  • http://www.littlegreenpastures.com Brianna

I love how small it folds. So many strollers take up the entire trunk, but with this stroller, we’d still have lots of room for other goodies.

  • Catherine

I love that it’s easy to navigate! And so many fun colors!

  • Jamie

The emerald color is gorgeous! It would be easy to be the envy of the whole neighborhood with one of these strollers! I bet they drive really well!

  • Rachel

The sun shield sounds great! After my baby turned a teeny bit pink after his first time out in the sun, I have been SUPER careful about sun exposure this summer. It’s tough, because sunscreens can be so harmful. The sun shield would be just perfect. Thanks!!

  • http://www.danandtami.net Daniel

The newborn crib system looks great and easy to install. Being as compact and “tubey” as it is, looks like it has to be really light as well.

The four real tires look like a must for off-roading, so it’s great to have that option.

  • Mary

The fact that it’s so lightweight is great!

This is my daily entry (July 23).

    mfalcon13@hotmail.com

  • Wendy

I love the little foot muff; I’ve never seen another stroller with anything like that. In addition, the bug shield is a great idea. I think the dual use of keeping bugs and people away is hilarious. Also, the tires on the stroller look really durable and it’s nice that the rear tires come with a pump so you’ll never be low.

It’s also really nice that you won’t have to buy the bassinet for the stroller. I love when companies recognize the importance of a bassinet and you don’t have to purchase every part separately.

  • Aura

I really like that you don’t have to buy car seat adapters if using with the maxi cosi car seats but did you notice that it doesn’t work with your favorite infant car seat- the Peg Perego SIP?

  • israel y

this is an awesome stroller when flying! We will be traveling soon with our new baby in a plane and having this stroller would make things so much easier. I like that it comes with those wheels made for snow which we need living in the NorthEast! I have seen so many strollers with just terrible winter weather wheels.

  • xenia

There are so many baby/toddler items that take a rocket scientist to put together, I love that this stroller comes already almost fully assembled!

  • Nicole

This stroller looks awesome. So easy to travel with, and no complicated assembly. I love it!

  • Sarah

I love the carrying bag for this stroller! Awesome! It just looks like a great reliable stroller overall!

  • http://afamilycompleted.blogspot.com Tonya

    I love the compact fold!

With 3 super great Chassis to pick from, what could you honestly ask for. The seat design is awesome and with the lastest trends and busy on the go moms this would be great in my house. My stroller is like 6 yrs old , A stroller is in need here at this house :| )

what i love the most about the micralite toro is how compact it folds compares to comparable luxury strollers.

  • Melissa

The fact that it folds up with one hand is a big plus! My hands are always full when I’m out shopping with the little ones so it’s much safer to keep one hand on her :)

  • http://www.tiedyediva.etsy.com Jen

Love the dynamic colors – why is it so many US baby strollers are navy blue or sage green? Yuck!

Ok, now for the product review… at first glance, I thought the newborn system and toro stroller were all the same stroller… but I think you actually have to purchase the newborn system seperately. it would be good if it came as a complete package.

I love that in a snap the TORO stroller is converted for newborns into the TORO stroller bassinet! oooh and i noticed that right now if you buy their stroller – you will get a lillébaby EveryWear Carrier for free!

  • http://roxy-littlelovebugs.blogspot.com/ Roxanne Carson

I love that this stroller moves easily over all terrains. I just bought a use stroller about a month ago and it either pulls to the side or wont go over certain textures on the ground. My hands and arms ended up getting the workout. I also love how this stroller easily folds up and stores so compact. This stroller is awesome in every aspect.

The Cariboo Earth Bassinet looks nice! I like that it isn’t true white. This stroller would be awesome..great when you aren’t on a perfectly flat sidewalk or in the mall!

  • http://thriftycraftmama.blogspot.com maryanne

The bassinet for small babies looks divine. But I’m a little confused, if it goes down to a full recline, why is it only suitable for 6 months onwards with the basic setup?

  • Wendy

Mircralite’s Toro Stroller is high tech and easy to use, i love it. I think it’s awesome that you can click on specific topics and roll over various parts of the product and learn more information. One definite plus is that there isn’t any annoying songs or sounds that pop up and don’t allow you to turn them off. Nothing is worse than being stuck in a busy place, seeing something interesting, and clicking a page with obnoxious sound. The text says it all and that’s how it should be.

  • Erin

Wow–really seems like it good be an all in one stroller since you have the ability to change the wheels. It seems light and sturdy. The colors are great and the style is simple. Seems like a really good stroller option. Hope I get to try it out!

  • xenia

I love strollers that actually come with a few of the accessories instead of having to buy every last thing. We have pretty cold winters here, not to mention the chilly weather in the fall and spring, so the waterproof foot muff would be so great for keeping my daughter’s feet warm instead of trying to wrap a blanket around them.

  • Aura

I really like the bassinet stand attachment- saves on having to buy more baby equipment and creates an easy transfer for a baby that fell asleep in the stroller

  • Aura

oops mixed up the stroller comments- I actually really like the cariboo gentle motions bassinet. The simplistic design is beautiful and I love that it folds so easily for travel and storage

  • http://www.tiedyediva.etsy.com Jen

Having just returned from a stroller outing where the only blanket we took along fell in the dirt by a horse corral, I have new appreciation for the foot muff! Now that would be handy!

I like how the Sun & Bug shield is nice and tidy. I’ve seen the ones with elastic like shower caps and they look kinda messy in comparison!

would it be allowed on board the plane? I know umbrella strollers are but this seems so much more than an umbrella stroller they folds so small. I think it is a really great product

I have used several strollers in my lifetime as a mommy. With four kids, they have gotten their wear and tear. I would love to try out this “brand” of stroller. It would appear to me, from their description that it navigates easily, folds up easily and would be something that my baby would be comfortable riding in. My 11 month old and I would love to win this “swag” prize…if you would like to choose us! LOL! :)

  • Rachel

I like that the seat reclines fully. I would just LOVE to win this stroller – such an awesome product! Thanks!

  • Wendy

The color options available for this stroller are great. Though I really like patterns and they add a fun pop to any stroller, the color options available for the Toro are masculine enough (minus the pink) that my hubby can’t tell me the stroller is too girlie to push. Not that he does that anyway, but if he ever wanted to use that excuse I could beat him to the punch.

There have been times when I’ve walked with my dog while pushing a stroller and, since he’s not the most well-trained dog ever, he darts and pulls and has almost tipped the stroller over. I love that the Toro has wheels that resist tipping, that’s a great feature.

As much as I know that I’ll never use the foot muff (living in Florida) I just can’t get over the picture of a bundled up baby in a ski cap and body hidden underneath. With the Micralite Toro, I’d definitely have to go up north and get that cute photo.

  • Andrea B

It’s good that they have easy to find instructions on the website, because if you are traveling, most likely the manual is at home. You can go online and look up what you need.

  • lesly

I have gotten very picky in getting a stroller over the years with 3 kids now.I like the way this stroller folds and its lightweight. For someone whose short like myself needs something that isn’t bulky and overbearing, i love the fact that i could make use of stroller up until the kids are 4 yrs. i really like the fact that u can use one hand to push without any struggle, the height for infant is perfect so u could store your bags etc in the basket.
i think overall this could be the #1 baby product.

Investigating the website, they have a fantastic promotion going on: buy a Toro stroller and receive a lillebaby carrier free. The carrier is absolutely adorable, especially the Eurotote. Yesterday my husband took our daughter out of our stroller and was putting her in the car and I said, “the stroller’s rolling away” as it took a leisurely ride in the parking lot. The Toro’s braking system would put an end to times like that!

I think it’s great that they sell kits so that you can use your infant seat in the frame. Popping the infant seat in the stroller is a nice easy way to get around with a newborn. Thanks so much!

  • http://www.tiedyediva.etsy.com Jen

It looks to be a great value for the cost due to the versatility. I am thinking it would be the only stroller you would have to buy, from infancy on up to the time your toddler is screaming “NO STROLLER, MAMA!”

  • Aura

The lillebaby eurotote looks amazing! I love how you can go from a carrier to a stroller liner or toddler bunting, a play mat and travel bed. How versatile (and really comfy looking). It also looks alot easier to carry around than an infant car seat

  • http://thanksmailcarrier.blogspot.com/ xenia

Great color options, I think my favorite is the black because it’s so classic. However, the stone is unique but not too crazy, so I like that one too.

  • Sarah

I love that this stroller is so compact. It is so hard to maneuver some of the double strollers out there and this one looks like it would move through store and around corners with ease.

I like that the handlebar height can be adjusted easily with an Allen Wrench (which is included along with the tire pump). I also think it’s very interesting that the Micralite Toro stroller was a finalist at the JPMA 2007 Innovation Awards.

Love the all-terrain tires, esp. since when our baby arrives we won’t be living on perfectly paved roads and will deal with much gravel and dirt, but it’s nice to have the precision available for when we’re in the cities and need maneuverability! I love that the seat lays for a baby to get an effective nap as they often seem to fall asleep in strollers but don’t sleep well sitting up with heads falling to the side! And of course, the compact fold is perfect for us since we will be a plane flight away from all of our family and hope to go home to visit often and yes, the airport does require the sturdiest bags possible to prevent damaged items! The multiple color choices are extra fun and I think I’m partial to the orange, though my husband might go for the emerald green! Overall, this is a nice-looking stroller with functionality as it’s focus and I even saw one in a store recently and was still impressed! Your website is nice & easy to manipulate.

  • http://thanksmailcarrier.blogspot.com/ xenia

I think it’s great that the handlebar can be adjusted anywhere between 37 and 42 inches from the floor, but I wish it didn’t have to be done with an Allen Wrench because that wouldn’t really be convenient if my family was out for a walk and my (tall) husband was taking over pushing from (short) me.

  • israel y

Wow! it’s sold in 16 stores within 100 miles of my home! I also really like that their search is equipped to handle Canadian zipcodes as well which uses letters and is a different system. I have seen companies that sell to Canada as well but do not recognize the zip code differences for their search engine

  • http://lilahbean.blogspot.com/ Melissa

I really like the Micralite Toro stroller but was unable to locate a retailer even 100 miles within my area code. It would be ideal if the website had the option to search by state. We have a sweet 16-month-old and we are hoping to go on a road trip — crazy huh? — in the next four weeks. The challenge (besides traveling long distances with a toddler for many hours in the car?) is that we have a hybrid that has a smaller trunk (because of the battery), which, given all the stuff we need to pack to maintain our princess, gives us limited space to include a large, bulky stroller. After reviewing the Micralite Toro, it appears ideal for our needs. The compact folding aspect, the ability to put things underneath the seat when opened up and the rain cover would be perfect for our, hopefully pleasant, adventure. It is also great that includes the feature of folding it down flat so that when she is tired, we can recline her to a comfortable position, rather than letting her suffer, like in other smaller strollers where the baby gets a kinked neck from sleeping up right. I like that there are color choices as well, that are more than just mud brown or grey-blue! While I would love to win one — money is tight for everyone these days — if I don't I would consider the investment anyway. I'll keep my fingers crossed! Thanks for this great opportunity and for sharing this great product!

wow…we've been looking for a light-weight travel stroller and this micralite toro stroller looks like it has all the features we've been wanting…specially the reclining seat and how compact it folds and how light-weight it is and how it holds up to 40lbs (just to name a few)…but i think i'm supposed to comment on the other products so i just have to add that micralite has really given this stroller a lot of thought because their accessories are awesome… the sun and bug shield would be a definite must have as is the foot muff…oh i absolutely love this stroller and would be such an ambassador for this product should i be lucky enough to win it

Definitely a huge fan of the warranty. Five years is great for a stroller. I like that Micralite has specified what the warranty covers on their FAQs & Specs Page. Many companies simply state a time period and you think you're covered for almost everything.

A big pet peeve of mine is not being able to actually get anything into the storage baskets underneath strollers, I like how the Toro not only has a lot of room but it is easily accessible.

I am impressed by the inflatable tires, I am sure that gives a more comfortable ride than solid plastic or rubber tires, and am wondering if that handy small pump shown in the video is included.

hmm.. it could definately use a mommy organizer near the handlebars since it will not support the weight of a diaper bag and there are not cup holders

  • spitfyr323

I think all of their products are practical yet very thoughtful. They considered everything – like adjustable handlebars on the Toro Stroller, as well as being able to close it up with just one hand. (Few moms EVER have two hands. Often times even two is not enough!)

I'm guessing you're still open for comments? :) I like that the stroller is only 18 pounds! Thank you!

I think the Newsroom section is great, as the website doesn't direct link to the news article but, instead, puts it on a separate page. My only suggestion would be to make the original news article a pdf file so consumers can see the original.

  • bellaziza

Hi Melissa:)! Actually, the Toro does NOT come with the case. It is an accessory that is available for purchase in addition to the price of the stroller. That way you're only getting charged for what you think that your family will need and use:).

After spending the day in the airport watching people shlep their strollers around and then struggle to fold it at the gate I must say the micralite looks like a pleasure with the one hand fold and low 18lb weight but where would I put all the hand luggage?? It really needs some sort of storage- a cup holder, cell phone holder, maybe a saddle bag??

  • http://www.tiedyediva.etsy.com/ Jen

I would like it if the handlebars adjusted without an allen wrench. There are times my family is out and about and my husband and I decide to switch who is pushing the stroller. I would not like having to tote along an allen wrench! However, it is better than not being adjustable. Hubby refuses to push the little umbrella stroller because it’s just too low for him.

  • http://thanksmailcarrier.blogspot.com/ xenia

I like the option of buying a washable fleece liner for the cold winters we have here. Plus, it comes in cow print – how fun is that?

I'm glad to see that there is both a phone number and an email address for Scandinavian Child for support or repairs, I often like to send an email as my first contact because it is so much simpler and can be done whenever I have a moment versus finding time to sit on the phone. However, it is also nice to talk to a real person on the phone when you're describing a problem or getting instructions.

These strollers look great and very portable. Having a portable stroller was really importatnt to my wife and I when we were looking for one. We bought one with a bassinet attachment that goes into a car seat base and folds really easily. We were really happy with our purchase until we actually tried to get it into the car. We have a mid-size car and can't even get the stroller in the trunk when it's folded as small as it gets. These strollers look great because they don't have a lot of bulky sections that are there just for looks. Very sleek, and I'm sure would work wonders for travelling.

  • Wendy W.

I think it's great that the company is dedicated to making sure their products meet all safety standards. They are a member of the JPMA and test all materials. This definitely makes consumers much more confident in their purchases.

I have spent time on the site recently and only wished I had known about this company before my daughter was born! Great functional products, with a simple design and modern feel. I was really impressed with the rocker, as it enables the child to get the exercise and fun they need, and at the same time, it would be very easy to put out of the way, when not in use. The folding features of many of their furniture pieces is a wonderful thing for when you are either living in a small place, or want to provide a second one to a grandparent for them to store and use as needed. I am looking forward to seeing what new products they produce.

I have to say this seems to be the chicest looking most awesomely comfortable stroller yet! This would be perfect for all the walking we do everyday living in the big city!

So many fun colors to choose from! The accessories are so practical and I believe I could haul all 19 pounds of this around without any difficulty!!

My wife and I travel a lot and the travel bag is especially appealing in light of how destroy luggage gets!! Good thinking.

I love the stoller and the Beaba Babycook! We didn't make our own baby food with my son but are planning to in a few months with my daughter the Beaba Babycook would be niffty. And right now we really dont have a stroller so this one makes me drool ;)

I love the raincover and how it folds so nicely into it's own bag…so interchangable and rated to 40lbs! Nice colors too!
