I really liked the products but I was a little disappointed by the website - I found it confusing to navigate just to find the products and whilst the pictures are clear which is great I think the overall feel thanks to the typography, colors and design left me a little cold. It felt neither like a very modern site nor did it feel like a site that serves kids products. Great stuff on the site when you find it but the overall experience was that the site was tricky to use, not as fun as I expected and I was not drawn back to it sadly. I still love the products but site was a let down.

First of all, I love everything modern so I was drawn to the products right away. I like that everything would fit with the decor of the house and not just be covered in bunnies or puppies because it is for kids.

In terms of the webite, I would like to be able to click on the Brand button for a comparison/ overview of all the brands at once instead of have to look at each brand. In other words, this Brand features this, etc. I would also add a button so I could search by product, i.e. highchairs, furniture, travel, food, etc.

The site was easy to navigate, move from one brand to the next. I was happy to find the "where to buy" tab. Although I enjoy to online shop, there is something to be said about walking in a store to touch and and feel and see the products. I was happy to know that there are a few carriers located fairly close!

I really like how all of the products grow with children. I like how they all match with each other. I really like the natural look how they are not covered with cutsy prints that do not match the rest of the house. I really like how the high chair can be pulled up to the table and does not have wheels that stick way out and break the parents toes. I like how the entire product line has matching finishes and will grow up with the child. I especially love the scooter and the cot.

I love how their products are classy, eco-friendly, easy-to-clean, and so safe! The website makes me wish I lived in Sweden.

I like their "design without compromise" philosophy in finding items that fit their strict criteria. I do wish you could purchase directly from site or at least find suggested retail prices.

I am a huge fan of all of the brands featured on this website. I love how simple each of the products is---no "tacky" characters, distracting patterns, etc...just simple, functional, and beautifully natural products. While I am very impressed with the company and their efforts to manufacture products using sustainable resources, how can you not love the fact that your home will not be an ode to the plastic industry!!! The high chair is a piece of ergonomic art that allows your child to participate in family dinners from the very beginning. This is a highchair I can display and that "fits" with my dining table. Also, the Svan bouncer has me by the heartstrings. It is so versatile and again can be left out as a piece of furniture (and almost a conversation piece). Lastly, the mini furniture has a light modern air that fits with the adult pieces in the room.
I could go on and on about the versatile and environmentally friendly baby furniture this company is developing, but the cleancher is that these pieces will last through much more than your child and anyone would be proud to have them as hand me downs.

Great products! Honestly, I have had it with American (made in China) cheap plastic baby products and toys. I have recently given birth to baby #10, and if I had it to do all over again, I would have invested in products such as these from the beginning so I wouldn't have had to keep replacing items.

In glancing through the site, the things that stand out to me that I would really like to have for baby Dixie (besides the high chair), that I know would stand up well and enable them to be passed down, are:

The website is easy to navigate and pleasing to the eye. The only thing I would like to see is a price-range (or recommended manufacturer's price) per item (rather than having to go to the manufacturer's website, then the retailers' website -- or the "where to buy" form, to find out what an item costs).

That ANKA Hige Chair is wonderful !!!!!! They really think of EVERYTHING !!! It's put together with an Allen Key so that older little tykes can't take it apart !!! I've had one of those children !!! Then they have sewn a pocket in the cushion to store and hide the Allen Key !!!!!!!!!BRAVO !!!!YOU SHOULD GET AN AWARD!!!!!!

I've always liked the Svan high chair. The other products are just as wonderful. I really love Swedish design, simple and functional and kind of cool. I like that all the brands are gathered on one website. I kind of wish that besides the current division, there was an additional separate division (furniture, carriers, strollers etc.) so you do not need to go through all the brands. I do like that when you click on a brand, all their products are listed and the list remains there even when you click on one of the products for details - no clicking back and forth.

I love the high safety standards.

I just noticed the extra tabs on the products description includes a Demo tab. Love this about the website. It features several pictures in a gallery and displays how items work or change purposes. Great company to support! Love how the highchairs are stylish enough to leave out but fold up for storage if needed. My plastic highchair in the basement that we plan on using for the second baby on his way, is taking up a lot of space as it does not fold at all.

The Anka high chair is wonderfully designed. It is a perfect blend of old look with 21st century detail. It easily blends into any decor. I love the way they have designed everything with young children in mind. I also like the way that this is furniture which grows with your child.The chair is one of those chairs which your little one can see how big she or he has grown by the way the chair adjusts. It can create so many memories of how they used to be and how they are now. What a wonderful chair for any parent. I have owned many highchairs and am always at odds with how they "compete" with the style of my home. I purchased another wood high chair for my first born and was just not satisfied with the materials that were used or the buckle system to ensure his safety. I am very impressed with the materials this company uses and the extent the go to to provide environmentally safe products. I also LOVE that I could put this high chair in my kitchen and not want to hide it! Well done!

Absolutely love this product. My third child is now 5 months old. He was a pleasant surprise, however I had already passed on every baby item from my previous children. With this child, I have been more selective and choosy about the items I purchase for him. I have been looking for responsible, functional, yet stylish items. I had been considering the Tripp Trappe and Svan chairs. I eliminated the TT as it has no tray and as a mother of 3 I know the importance of same. When I was looking for the products in Canada, I accidentally came across the ANKA and loved it. I am having a hard time locating a canadian retailer with an online purchasing, as I have been unable to find a Nova Scotia store with one. I love that it folds (very hard to find in a wooden chair), that there are multicolored chairs as well as cushions, and it has both the wooden tray and a plastic tray cover. Besides these necessities, there is the bonus of adjustability. What more could a parent, or child want or need in a chair. The price point is phenomenal. I need a chair now, so if I don't soon find an online Canadian store, I may have to order state side, but I worry about the transport use issue. However, this is definitely the chair for me.

wow! The Micralite Toro was rated one of the top strollers for 2008 by Consumer Reports! That is something I really trust. My friend has a Micralite fastfol. that I hate since there is no storage place. The basket is hard to access and if you place things on the handlebars the whole thing tips over. The seat is in a very uncomfortable position and my 1 year olds legs hung straight out instead of down. I kept tripping on the wheels and found the handlebar really uncomfortable to push in any position. I don't see the fastfoldfold on SCHIChild's site but I must say the Toro looks much better. I like the new seat that's reversible and can recline and the basket looks easier to access. The handlebars are still very awkward but it is really nice to have an easy to fold, lightweight luxury stroller carriage. It's nice that it comes with a rain cover, bumper bar, footmuff and air pump which are optional with most strollers and I like the orange color. I would give it a second chance and try it out when I'm in the market for a single stroller

I have to try the lillebaby Eurotote - it is so unique and so much better than all those slings out there! plus it has so many awesome functions! and it looks so soft and comfy!

I'm days (hopefully!) away from delivering my third and I'm now developing some serious basinet envy (I love how the Cariboo folds up) and highchair envy (how I want a Svan!).... For a grandmom, this is a fabulous highchair to keep in my home, since it folds easily when my grandson is not here, and opens easily to use when he is. I am in love with the Cariboo Gentle Motions Bassinet. Besides for the fact that it can be folded for storage and traveling. My kids love movement and the kids feel their own and my favorite part is that the straps can be adjusted to elevate the head for babies with reflux- no more towels under the mattress! It's also great for transitioning to the crib since you can hang the bassinet hammock from the crib rails

The activity gym is beautiful. Much better than those plastic crazy light up kinds.

I like that it's Constructed of sustainable wood, phthalate-free and bisphenol A-free plastic and PBDE-free foam so I know it's totally safe for my children. It's versatile and can be used at the table or on it's own with the tray and the seat and footrest can both be adjusted so it can be used for my 1 year olds as well as my 5 year old.

Finally a company that understands mom; I don't want to purchase a high chair to find out that later I'll also have to buy a booster seat for my child. A chair that grows with your child that also has a modern design coupled with the fact that you can pick from 5 beautiful wood finishes and customize it with one of the 13 colors for cushions..what more could you ask for?

I like that the company makes products that last for a number of years. Even this less-expensive high chair is good for 5-- lots longer than most.

I think the Svan Anka is the only foldable wooden highchair on the market. You could get both beautiful design plus functionality. Especially with the washable tray!

Wow, they really have some fantastic products on their site. Everything there is so unique and I love how they look earthy and modern at the same time. I found out about some new products like their Babycook and Eurotote that I had never seen before. After studying the products, I can truly say that I was mostly impressed with Micralite Toro stroller. It is very lightweight and I like the contemporary color. The Eurotote by Lillebaby is a cool creation. I would definitely use something like this.

This is such a beautiful piece of furniture. It is not like the bright ugly plastic creations most stores carry. It is sturdy safe and would compliment our house instead of being an eyesore!

I am so, so, so happy to read that they test their products/plastics for pthalates. I am always trying to find out if products are pthalate free and it is very hard to get info. It make me really happy that there is a company that screens their products for these lesser known issues. Thank you!

The Beaba Babycook is exactly something I was looking for. Alot of their products are eco friendly and I love that the babycook is BPA free.

I also love that their products look so nice. I mean, to be safe, functional, and not be the typical plastic cheesy baby stuff on top of that! It's great.

I've been lusting over their Micralite stroller for awhile now! Our stroller is super heavy right now--I'd love a new one :)

I love how organized their site is. I love that each brand is in its own section and it looks like they only offer the highest quality of brands. I am very impressed. I think I would like every single thing from their site.

The Svan scooter is very adorable! Concerning the ANKA high chair, I really appreciate that it can adapt with the child and the removable dish-washer safe tray is a huge plus, as are the washable cushions!! The mini furniture definitely catches my eye as well-it looks like a definite improvement from the heavy little table I had my tea parties at as a little girl with my siblings!! The simplistic sturdiness of these products make them highly desirable to me!

I enjoyed reading Brenda's story. I believe this was her destiny and love seeing people do what their passionate about in life. The Svan bouncer is crazy awesome!! The only baby products I ever have had are from Walmart and yeah I love Wally but you don't get modern products like this. My 4th baby is beggin for a new highchair..ok so she isn't but I am ;)

Oh what I love about their product and website it the picture, they are beautiful. I especially love their products, the Cariboo Gentle Motions Bassinet is a favorite and I am thinking about going back and buying some of the Beaba Multiportions. Do you realize what you could do with that? Oh so many things.
I did have a problem with their site though. I could not click on the buttons for "Our Brands," "About Us," "Brenda's Story," "Where to Buy," "Customer Service" or "Newsroom." I did read about them in their catalog.

I basically looked at the high chair, since I hadn't seen this model before. Especially liked the fact that it folded up, which would make it perfect to have over at my house (Grandma's). I also like that the tray could be put into the dishwasher--no matter how smoothly a tray is made, there always seems to be some cranny that food can get into and be almost impossible to get out!

I like that the footrest can be raised. My daughter can't reach the footrest in her current (plastic - blech) high chair, and her speech therapist recommends that she rest her feet to square her body properly for eating.

I love how the products look like real furniture. They are classy and elegant in appearance, not childish and cutesy like so many children's products. You can put any of these in your house and not end up looking like you're overrun with kids' items and toys; it can still look like an adult place to live as well.

Amazing designs, very different!

After visiting the Scandinavian Child website, I am thoroughly impressed by the Anka high chair. I am very familiar with the Svan high chair... and also the high price. The Anka high chair accomodates those more budget minded yet serves the function of being aesthically pleasing, functional, erogonomic, and environmentally conscious. In comparison to the Svan high chair, the only downside of the Anka high chair is the inability of allowing the toddler child to climb into his/her own seat, or can they? It’s not clear from the website information.

The website is simple yet informative. I would have liked the Demo tab to have been larger and more inticing to click on first. It has the same information as the other four tabs, yet the link has much more information. I especially liked the elapsed video on how the chair converts through the different stages of an infant to toddler. This is necessary for those who need more visuals to demonstrate the conversions.

This comes at a perfect time for our family in deciding which high chair to purchase... although now after this review, I can't decide whether we want the Svan or the Anka!

Wow! Scandinavian Child really distributes some of the best baby items out there! The micralite is one of the coolest strollers I have ever tried. It has all the features of the luxury fancy strollers but it folds small! The Svan and Beaba baby cook are 2 of your favorite things for good reason and I love the svan scooter. And the cariboo folding bassinet is genius- imagine being able to easily store a bassinet after finishing it or even being able to travel with it!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that a child can be pushed up to the table to eat with the family!!

I didn't know that Scandinavian Child created the Beaba babycook. I found out about the babycook just as my daughter was graduating to unmashed food, so I didn't really seriously consider getting one. Having spent many months prior chopping, steaming,and pureeing food for my daughter, I can honestly say that the babycook would have been AWESOME to own. A friend of mine just won one recently and she absolutely adores it for her children.

My wife and I aren't planning on stopping at just one child, so I may toy around with the idea of getting a babycook later on in life. But if I had to do it all over again, I'd definitely get one for myself.
