I was really impressed with the simple, yet elegant designs at Pixie Dust Decor. The Jardin Secret fabric with the Jardin Secret Stripe would make such a beautiful baby girl's room! The customized pillows, tuffets and poufs are nice as well. All of their products have a quality look!

Marie Ricci's products are to die for! I love the simply initial and the hand carved look. The ceiling medallions would look great in any room. I would love one of the home and garden plaques! There are so many colors to choose from that it would be hard decision to choose one.

All your fabrics look fantastic, but I've been looking for, and haven't been able to find any detail on the fabric itself. I would like if you put up some detail on what the fabric is made from and any other relavent information like that. If you do have it on your site I haven't been able to find it, so in a better location would be great.

Marie Ricci has the most baby appropriate chandeliers and ceiling medalions I have ever seen! So sweet. I had no idea there were things like this out there. I love the fact that the Pixie Dust decor (especially crib bedding) is so unique and beautiful. Not like the things you find in the mega baby stores. I also like that the products are really classic, not overly cutesy and oversweet. I would love to decorate our soon-to-be's nursery in Pixie Dust!

The products from both sites are heavenly.

I like how both sites have references to their national media attention right on the homepage (Marie Ricci references Access Hollywood and Pixie Dust Decor shows People magazine). This immediately creates a feeling of "ooh la la" for me. What is "ooh la la?" Well, I would describe it as my sense of "WOW! This must be good!" The websites are high class and stylish and it immediately conveys a sense of quality, wonderful craftsmanship and uniqueness. I don't anticipate finding these items at my local Babies R Us. I expect to pay a premium on the items that I find from these sites, yet I also feel like the prices are going to be reasonable for what I am getting. Once again, the sites are conveying a sense "quality" and "class" as I continue to browse.

I definitely think of a little girl's room as I look through the sites and all of the items would be fit for my little princess! Thanks for the opportunity to check out these websites!

From the Pixie Dust Decor site, what struck me first was just the quality of fabric they use, even from pictures, they stand out dramatically, they make gorgeous impact on the eye! You wouldn't have to do a lot to the room because the bedding is incredible!
And from the MarieRicci site, I first noticed they offered FREE color chips! Amazing considering what a high end place it looks to be. Also they had a page which explains in detail how to paint a celing medallion! very cool info!

I have a 11 day old daughter, Georgia Elizabeth and the minute I saw the sites I knew that they were perfect for myself and her. The blanket collection from Pixie Dust is absolutely adorable. They are the kind of blankets which any baby would feel so much loved and cared about it. They look so soft and inviting and gosh all these words I have just said are an understatement! I love the name Pixie Dust as it makes me think of pixies gently sprinkling good dreams dust on each baby so they sleep in a beautiful land of nod. Boy, that sounded corny! Sorry, but the site is so adorable. I also love the Marie Ricci site and the children's initial star sets. It would be like having your baby sleep under the stars every night safe and sound. It is the next best thing to giving them the universe at their fingertips and I love the thought of knowing they have their very own starts.

So many beautiful items to pick from and so long since I have been in that position. My baby girl is expecting her first baby the end of May, so I wanted 1 of everything for a boy. Of course, still being a little traditional, I liked the blue boys toys crib bedding, burps, bibs, and blanket collection on the Pixie Dust site. On the Marie Ricci site, I am sure my daughter (being a native Texan) would like the children's initial set stars as she would think of the stars as representing the Lone Star state, home to both her and her son.

Elegant is not a word I typically use when describing nursery decor but the products from both of these companies are just that. They are beautiful and original instead of cutesy. I love the crib bedding and tuffets in the watermelon pagoda and coordinating fabrics from Pixie Dust Decor and think the initial wall plaques and chandelier from Marie Ricci would be gorgeous in my little princess' room when we move into our new house.

At Marie Ricci I would love the laugh-play-sing-dance children's mirror. At 425.95 I can't really justify it right now but I can dream! I'd choose light blue in a solid finish. At Pixie Dust Decor I absolutely love their Tuffets! I could really see this being a cozy spot for a little one to curl up on and read a book! My favorite fabric for it would be the Watermelon Pagoda - those delicate flowers are so feminine!
Marie Ricci has GORGEOUS chandeliers!! Wow what a beautiful addition that would make to my daughter's room! The lilac is my favorite color available...and the finish would have to be distressed. Beautiful!

Where do I begin? On the Pixie Dust site, I love the watermelon pagoda bedding! But I do really like the Chateaux Charlotte as well! :)
On the Marie Ricci site, I LOOOOVE the chandeliers... just a tad bit out of my price range for a nursery item. The initial plaques are exquisite. I would love one in Brown with distressed white accent. I liked the vine clock, but I would prefer to have that in my room and not the nursery. ;)

I love the fabrics used at pixiedust but I wish there was a few more colour options for the bedding. Everything seems to be pastels in pink, yellow or blue. Maybe some more vibrant colours would be great or other pastel colours like purple or browns. I love the one's you do have though.

At Marie Ricci's site - I love the round mirror with "Live,Love,Smile,Dance" around it. Maybe because that is what I try to keep as my motto (except I sing instead of dance).

What I like about the two stores are their interest in details. Their websites are beautifully constructed, easy to manuver, and their photography is just fantastic! AND, their selections are nice, too, because it's not like they are jam-packed with every type of thing which makes it a hassle to decide. This way, you have fewer choices, but the choices are all so great! ;)

Marie Ricci's web site is also attractive. My favorite things are the chandelier and ceiling medallions. They are perhaps a little more expensive that I would choose to spend on secondary decorations, but they ARE gorgeous!

I really like Pixie Dust's web site and find it easy to navigate and PRETTY! Their bedding Pixie Dust is beautiful. I've found it difficult to find high end crib bedding that is not all eyelet and lacy.

What beautiful fabrics on Pixie Dust! The baby bedding is so chic and soft! Totally unique bedding that isn't cookie cutter cartoon that one finds in abundance elsewhere. Marie Ricci provides perfect matches that would compliment the bedding found on Pixie Dust. I loved the "Sail Away" plaque...my grandaughter's name is Sailor. My first impression of Pixie Dust's website was wonderful. The thing I think is the very best is that you can order your crib bedding ensamble and then order plenty of matching fabric to give your room the finishing touches. I can think of so many reasons you need extra fabric (ie: Rocking Chair Pads, Valances, Runners for the dresser tops, Changing table pad covers, etc...) Very Nice Site I Love It.

I think they both have wonderful products. The Pixiedust fabrics are beautiful and fresh. I love the aqua lattice pattern! I have a baby boy, but if I had a girl I would love to get the watermelon pagoda. I find the styles unique. Not your typical Disney or checkers. Really quite lovely. The products on www.MarieRicci.com are very elegant, especially the mirrors. I think there is something for everyones taste. I'm in love with the flower and vine wall mirror but like I said everything is really elegant. I think they are both wonderful companies and haven't really seen products like these much. I know I am repeating myself a lot by saying this but they are all really elegant. Not over the top though! You could probably get anything here and turn your nursery or child's room in to a sweet and refined place. I would love to have any of these products lol :)

I think it's great how the wall plaques offer such a wide range of colours to suit any decor. I hope pixiedust can get pictures of those two bedding sets that say coming soon though. I love that Pixie Dust sells fabric to coordinate with the crib bedding, so you can use it in other ways in the nursery...the choices in the fabric are really beautiful. I can't wait to start planning my daughter's room. I also like that they do custom work since my sewing skills are pretty basic.

Both stores are upper scale, pricey and provide beautiful keepsake items. I like the Lime Pagoda fabric at Pixie Dust Decor, and would choose this fabric if I won the nursery set. With their neat "Custom Shop", you can order matching Flat or Ruffle Valances, pillow inserts, linen bags, etc. to coordinate with the crib set or your nursery decor. Although the plaster and resin letter plagues at Marie Ricci are very nice, I would prefer their Children's Wall Clock, "Laugh-Play-Sing-Dance" in distressed Olive. They are cast in resin and then hand painted in any of their designer colors, in solid or distressed finish. The Letter Plaques or the Wall Clocks would be something to cherish for many years to come.

At Pixie Dust I really like the fabric options. I like the chatiau charlotte and the lime pagoda. (Because I have a boy I was of course attracted to all the blues and greens.) Also...Those little aprons were so cute and I love the Tuffets.

Marie Ricci had a truckload of items I liked. I am nuts about the ceiling medallions. It is tough to choose a favorite among those and I did not realize that you could get them hand painted until I clicked in for a closer look. I had fun trying out the differented finishes. I am really fond of the medallion clocks also. They would look good in many parts of my house.

I really liked the ceiling medallions, especially the ones that could be used in various rooms. On Pixie Dust, the bedding selections were definitely attractive, and the chance to order fabric by the yard is very helpful. But I would like to see crib bumpers in a different style--the firm wedge design that fits tightly to the mattress and will not allow the baby to get his face buried between the bumper and the mattress. Those on the site look too soft and pillowy to be really safe for a little one.

Marie Ricci designs are very classic but with a modern twist. I especially love all of the little girl's designs. Having a boy, i always seem to be drawn more toward pink!

I really like the fabric pattern on Chateau Charlotte crib bedding. It reminds me of Madeline Doll and toys ! It could be for a boy or a girl. I also loved the Marie Ricci products, That chandelier is a nice place for Tinkerbell to rest in her Fairyland Nursery !

I must say that they bedding on Pixie Dust is sooo cute. I've never seen anything like it before. I absolutely love the bedding and the blankets. They look really soft and cozy. I think 20 dollars for 2 birp clothes is a little steep but they were cute as well.
The stuff on Marie Ricci was cute. My favorite thing was the chandelier. It was the thing that caught my eye as soon as I logged on the website. It's nice that everything is handmade so that is probably why everything is a little more expensive.

I really love the letter plaques! I would even use one of my last name outside of a nursery! The lattice & pagoda combinations are my favorite...especially the lime & aqua!
