Don’t you wish you could enjoy eating as much as kids do?  Watch your son or daughter eat their next meal.  They lick their fingers, smear it all around on their plate and make the most delicious little noises.  They truly relish their food!  Now, my boys have been known to scarf down a meal like nobody’s business.  I’m talking, “did you chew that” kind of consumption.  But at the end of the day, my kids enjoy their food far more than I.

And what about what they eat.  I make sure my boys eat a healthy balance of foods, you know, the good ol’ food pyramid.  Yet I am perfectly happy to throw a few pieces of scraps in my mouth here and there and call it a meal.  So it’s got me thinking….what if I ate like my kids ate?

I would certainly eat a more healthy and balanced diet and dessert would be something I would eat all of my veggies for and anticipate with cheers of delight.  So maybe at my next meal I will use my hands a little more and hurry a little less.  Maybe I can learn something from my kids…how to eat, drink and be messy…I mean…merry.  Same thing as far as my boys are concerned!!

Okay class!  Settle down, settle down.  So you want to design the perfect nursery?  Okay.  Well, first you start off with… well never mind THAT.  We’ll come back it though…I PROMISE.  (The suspense is killing you isn’t it?!?!)  We’re just different here.  We’re simply doing 102 first:)!

Bedding!  Yes, you simply must must must have the perfect crib bedding for your new little bundle!  It absolutely has to be super soft, incredibly well-made, and with details and accessories to die for, dahhhling!  We’ve found it and knew you’d just love us for it.  It’s from the sweetest little jewel of a company called Pixie Dust Decor!  We just loved their newest addition to their line, Chateau Charlotte/Column.  We just loved those little French-inspired Madelinesque illustrations and thought it would be an elegant choice for a girl or a boy!  Although predominantly blue, you could definitely pink it up!

The wash test revealed amazing results.  It resisted stains with flying colors and if removed promptly from a gentle wash, flattened and laid out to dry, it required very minimal ironing and came out looking NEW!!!  We especially loved the softness of this collection’s fabrics for baby’s skin.  Their woven cottons are a luxurious high thread count; very soft and will stand up to some serious washing and use.  (They’re also all available for purchase by the yard!)  The other fabric is just luscious though!  It’s almost like a minky fabric, but with a shorter pile.  It is used as the backing of their bibs, burpcloths and blankets and really makes the collection not only gorgeous, but so very practical!  The blankets are nicely sized and the texture of the fabrics make for a surprisingly good swaddle:)!
