They use Pima cotton. I would never have to worry about any kind of skin irritation. This cotton is so soft!!!! I love it. the colors match the cotton well, also! All of the colors are sweet, soft, pastel colors. I think this company is doing a great thing by using this kind of cotton (sorry I went back to the cotton) because skin irritation is a big thing for me with my son and this really helps reduce/prevent it.

I like that I am able to really get a good look at the designs on their clothes.

QUALITY IS FANTASTIC! AND NOW-A-DAYS THAT IS IMPORTANT!

The fabrics are so soft, just what I would want for my new grandson.

I saw lots of items on the winter clearance page I would use!

I love the marilou smock dotted dress. It is absolutely adorable. As for the site, I had to get really close to the computer screen to see some of the picures, because they were almost the same shade as the screen. They didn't show up very well. Don't get me wrong, I love the products and styles they have, bu probably wouldn't go back there too often because it strains the eyes.

I fell in love with the smock marilou dotted dress. It is just adorable. I love the way this site is such a mom friendly site and they show so well how much they care about comfort and style for your baby. What a wonderful site and clothes which are so soft and so gentle for your baby.

I am so glad to find this giveaway. I complain often when purchasing a baby gift, that i can never find anything that looks like a baby should be wearing it. I always find things that look like a 15/16 year old should be wearing. A great company that is focused on the right things. I love my babies to look like babies and I am sure they appreciate when I dress them in soft, beautiful clothes like Babycottons provides.

I think that the website is sweet and I like their philosophy of nurturing the bond between the parent and the baby.

Here's an excerpt taken from an email I received today from Alexis Hoffman at Babycottons:

"I wanted to personally thank you for your comment and reply to your question regarding our Philosophy Statement (I don't argue that it can be improved but I just wanted to clarify what we mean by "maintain the natural bond between the baby and those who relate with him"). I am sure that you would agree with me that there is absolutely nothing cuter in this world than to see your naked baby smiling at you. They are just so happy when you take off their clothes and lie skin to skin next to you. Right? That is the natural bond that we want to maintain. We do not want our brand or piece of clothing to come in between that, you and your baby!

As we have no alternative but to dress up our children (and we are thankful for that obviously!), we try to create clothing that does not interupt that harmonious experience. That is why you will never see a huge BABYCOTTONS patchwork across one of our PJs or onesies. We don't want your child to be a living banner for our brand. We just put a small embroidery of our signature bunny in the clothing, with the same color thread as the garment. Hardly noticeable...but there to guarantee its an authentic babycottons!"

I like that they only use the highest quality softest Pima Cotton and they have some organic pieces. Just browsing through the girl section - most things are white or another very light colo, and against the white background they are hard to see. If the background were slightly tinted (even the light blue of the borders) the items would be easier to view.

I like the items they have, but they also need some in gender neutral styles. That way if you're invited to a baby shower where the parents are still expecting and have elected not to know the sex of the baby before birth, you have a choice of something to give. I mean something in greens or yellows as an option, which could be used on either a baby boy or baby girl depending on which it will become. Site is easy to get around. They need a few more design options too. Yet, I really like that you know they are a successful business in 5 countries. If I ever get back to Florida I'd like to visit their in store shops. I like the Mrilou clothes and toys for newborn girls, they look very sweet and very functionable. I love the baby girl outfits with all the chickens too. The Pima Cotton looks very soft.

Although I adore their products, their "Philosophy Statement" needs improving (well, you asked) - it primarily describes their use of Pima cotton, but does not describe their products, how they are made and under what conditions. "We intend to maintain the natural bond between the baby and those who relate with him"? What does that mean? Are they trying to say how cute their baby clothes are? And, what does that have to do with bonding? Other than that, their stores are located in FL, NJ and NY. I live in CA. I did fall in love with the boy's playsuits, especially the "Logo Basic Playsuit" with long sleeves ($38), the Polo Cardigan ($45) and the Green Peter Footie ($39), so I'll be needing that $150 GC to buy them! LOL

I happen to put on only the softest cotton on my babies aka pima cotton so I'm glad that's the only cotton they use. It's nice that they have a selection of organic cotton items although I do wish I could find a larger selection of items above 12m. The items in the Peter collection are really cute especially the short playsuit

First of all they start with Pima cotton, the breathable safe fabric for my little ones. Secondly, they use a few basic designs and make clothing that is of the finest quality which makes my children look really good. What more could a mom ask for?

I really like the website & the fact you can look up organic or other collections and all the items are right there. Easy to find what I want. And they even look baby soft. And they carry smocked dresses.

I like the pima cotton my 5 month old seems to be irritated by some fabrics I think pima would work well for her.

I really love the delicate colors - they're soft and gentle and look perfect for newborns especially. Website was was easy to use but I would have liked bigger pictures of the clothes and better, clearer close ups of the design to see the colors and prints more clearly. be nice to scroll over and see the pattern on a pic rather than have to click.

The website was easy to navigate. The colors are a bit too light to see very clearly. I like the selection but wish they would add some other colors besides pink and blue.

The harvesting of Peruvian Pima Cotton is done by hand and in perfect conditions ,the cotton is the softest you can find. I love when my babies are wrapped in a soft cotton. They feel so safe and secure.I love that the sizes go from birth to size 6. The clothes look wonderful. Thanks

I like the Monet dress with pleats. I did have some trouble seeing the clothing on the website. The white background doesn't make the white and pastel colors show up very well.

I love the stores website, it has a cute collection for both boys and girls. I love the two piece suits for baby boys! Great giveaway!

I love that they use pima cotton. One note about their site, though: when I click on the categories, it appears the pages are blank-- no proucts. It took a minute for me to realize that I had to scroll all the way down on my screen to see anything, which I'm sure they didn't intend. I use Internet Explorer, whatever the latest version is (9?).

I loved all your products and would love to win for our new grandchild. My favourite item was the uni with the hens on it. We don't yet know whether pink or blue would be appropriate, but once we do know I think I will be placing an order! Thanks for the contest, my fingers are crossed.

I love that BabyCotton's website is designed to dress babies just as they are..babies. It gives you that "oh so new, soft feel of the babes".

The items looks beautiful, soft, well-made and so classic. I would love for my little girl to have some of the babycottons clothes.

One thing I noticed about their website that they might want to consider.
I clicked on "baby girl" and came to this page http://www.babycottons.com/store/department/53/...
I'm using a laptop and I found it difficult to see the light pink outline pictures above each of the categories unless I tilted my screen at a specific angle. The pictures were just so light it was hard to see them unless I looked at the screen a specific way. They might consider making them darker or putting a more contrasting background behind them.

My sister just had a little one in December. She now has three little men ages 4, 2 and 9 weeks. This site promotes a wonderful bond between the child and the caregiver. The site was just so soothing to look at and the products look like they would carry over that idea.

I really like the refreshing colors of the site. It feels very clean baby like. The explanation of how the company was formed was really nice. The clothes are clean, crisp looking. They are a little expensive for as basic as they are. I would drop them maybe $5 to $10. Or sale them more. I would think this would bring another bracket of buyers. Otherwise the clothes are cute and fun.

The clothing looks like quality stuff, very nice.

Very pretty clothes, but it is hard to see them. The clothes are mainly white and pastel and the background is white so it kind of mushes together. They should try to find a way to enhance the contrast to make things more visible.

I've seen Babycottons products and their designs are so cute ! It would be hard to improve on a perfect product but I would like to see a line for MOMS of similar plain or matching T shirts; both long sleeve and short sleeve. Thanks

First of all, there is not a single item in the Newborn Basics section that I don't love! Also, the statement that impressed me was, "At babycottons we intend to maintain the natural bond between the baby and those who relate with him." What a wonderful company! No wonder why they're still going strong after 10 years!

I really like the products, they are very soft and attractive. I do not like the website. Everything is so out of focus (too soft) that it is hard to see the items.

The company is very natural and not so expensice for the expecting parents of a baby. Love all the fabrics and the way the company handles its customers. Nice prize

I checked out the site and it was a bit hard to actually see the material clearly but according to them its supposed to be really nice. I don't know I was not impressed with the website as the images weren't very clear.

I love how cozy but, cute their clothes look. The Vincent overall and the nautic bodysuit are among my faves. I enjoyed reading their philosophy of dressing baby as baby because that is actually how I like to dress my son but, is surprisingly hard to find babyish clothes. I love this line of baby clothing.

I love how they use pima cotton--my son has a couple of things made of pima and it is so soft! Great for young babies who may be irritated by harsher fabrics

I wasn't overly impressed. The styles for boys seemed old fashioned. I would have liked more primary colors and hipper styles. But then again I like that more modern look.

Babycotton's website has a beautiful "soft" feel about it, using pastels and muted colors. It makes me want their goodies even more. Who wants anything but SOFT for our baby-pies?

P.S. I'd love the cute little hen outfits for girls. Pretty!
