I would like to see more toys that encourage fine motor development for my 2 year old. She still puts things in her mouth, so she's not quite ready for the small doll house parts. But a dollhouse furnished with chunkier furnishings and that she can manipulate would be wonderful. She responds better to the solid wood style that you provide than the soft-sided doll houses that other manufacturers sell for toddlers.
  • Your button is in my side bar scroll!!

  • I would like to see more coupons available for purchasing these items, times are tough right now, that would really be nice to see. Overall these products are wonderful!!
  • Renee We
Although the kitchen is amazing (i want the real version) I would buy the PARKING GARAGE along with ROAD SYSTEM DELUXE.
  • Ashley
A beading or sewing set would be a nice addition.
  • Kids like playing with simple things. I would like to see more medium sized wooden shape designs. I don't know exactly, but 1-5 year olds could care less about some of the high priced stuff their parents are buying them nowadays.
  • I'd love to see a computer desk for a small child.
  • allie
It would be fun to add a toy cash register and play money so that kids can play restaurant or store. Also more toy kitchen appliances might be fun, like a blender and mixer!
  • Simone
Green, fair trade cloth or material toys would be a nice addition to their product line. Thanks!
  • I think they should make shirts & logo items for advertising & they should send one to each of us for sharing our wonderful ideas with them- thats free brain power!!!
  • Amy
I wanted to thank you for directing my attention to this Company/website

I would really like to have the ability to order right from the online catalog. Going to a separate place is more time consuming for busy moms and not very intuitive. In my experience it is going to an online catalog that allows you to view items, read about them and order them. While Customer Service is where you go to order a catalog, ask a question, etc.

I know I use the same one but I just love Plan Toys. Can't think of anything else they'd have to improve!
  • They have an AMAZING selection of toys. I'd love to have them organized by age!
  • I have your button on my blog
  • Peggy Gorman
I love the site and so many great different toys for a wide range of children. What I would like to see is a price list when I see a page of toys for a certain age.
    Thanks for the awesome giveaway
  • I'm having a hard time coming up with more things to improve on. Their site is pretty great as it is. Maybe a castle would be a great option. My nieces really love those.
  • Aura
There should be a search feature for different toys
  • Therese
i would like to see little table cloths and napkins in different solids and patterns for the table and chair sets.
  • Helen
I would love to see the prices for each product.
  • barbara
a cool tool box with tool s would be great
  • Pamela White
I would like the catalog to go directly to the toy list after choosing an age catagory rather than going to a list of kinds toys available.
  • Rosanne
I would like to see them add an eco-friendly doll house
  • Natalie
A "view all" feature would be helpful... too much reloading.
  • Paula Harmon
They should make a bunch of "soft" toys that are as great and green as all their rubberwood toys.
  • Phyllis Jenkins
My grandkids like vacuuming too. The cats and dogs get vacuumed and love it.
The latest play stage has been campaigning for president. Little Johny wants to be president.
  • Connie
Got a vacuum to go with the set? I couldn't find one. My grandson is a cleaning fool and would love a vacuum. Wish he could stay like that! Thanks for such great quality toys!
  • Emilie P
I always love to see reviews on the website to help me decide. Thanks so much for the great giveaway! My kids would love this set, truly.
  • Kelly
Reviews of the toys would be a wonderful addition to the site.
  • Samantha
I really love the selection of toys Plan Toys offers and have my eyes on several of their products for my toddler son. I wish that they would improve their drum set product - I have looked at it and considered it several times, but have run across several poor reviews online. I'm happy to see the new construction products and would be interested in some other kind of tool set toy. I also would really like it if Plan Toys had a line of more traditional flat puzzles. I find that my 24-month-old is way too advanced for most of the peg puzzles out there, but that most jigsaw puzzles are too hard for him. I think there is a market for a level of puzzle in between. Schylling makes some nice puzzles that are neither peg nor jigsaw, but the pieces follow shapes in the drawing and are an appropriate level of difficulty. Something like that would be great. Thanks for the opportunity!

  • I would like to see age suggestions.
  • R Hicks
For the most part, site is done well. Would like to see more product reviews
  • Jean D.
My family loves bowling. It would be great if PLAN made a bowling alley part of its "City" series.

    Great giveaway. Thanks!
  • Valerie
Outdoor toys would be fun - like mini gardening sets or even little wooden boats that could be sailed in the pool (or the bath!)
  • dolls123
African American girl & boy dolls
  • Marcy Strahan
I wish they had an a-z index!
  • ingrid w
My sons have a few plan toys and love them, I feel good about providing them such great toys. Unfortunately my dog loves them too, so far she's chewed two : (

I love the variety of toys to play with and my only suggestion is how the website is designed. I feel that the emphasis needs to be more on the consumer and the products, making it really easy to navigate through the items available. It's a little unclear for new users to understand where the products for purchase are and its easy to get distracted by the other catagories on the top. Otherwise it's a beautiful website.
  • Mel
I looked through the website and love your products. I didn't see bath tub toys! Tub toys, puzzles and books with flaps or cloth books are favorites in our house! Would love to be able to zoom in closer to products on your site. otherwise, your company is terrific!
  • Marie Walser
I would like to see prices and a wishlist.
  • I would love to see a really great tool/work bench that would have all sorts of fun things for kids to hammer, screw, fix, etc.
  • TRACY HEYER
great products! the kids would love this! thanks!
  • judy brittle
It would be nice to see a home office play set or a school house play set.
  • Sonya
    I'd love better age information!
  • pal p
would like to see more musical toys.
  • Deb
Products are great to encourage creative play! Wish that many were more affordable. Thanks for the opportunity to at least try
  • I love so many of their products! It was hard to think of something but at last I came up one. I see many people saying games that is a truly terrific idea. I would love to see some of the creations. My thought was making a bug. You create all the parts and you have a board that you spin with all parts listed and you add the parts to the bug body to create a unique bug that will never be the same everytime you play. Thanks for the chance to win.
  • Christine Blaylock
Plan Toys has the most wonderful, well made toys!
I would really love to see a botton that you can see all the toys at once, also a listing of prices, like 0-50, 51-100, etc. shown.
  • Dan
Great website and products. More options and add-ons for the Road & Rail – City Transportation sets would be great.
  • I'm diggin the furniture, but i think they could really expand on that. Reading chairs or benches and/or toy boxes and other storage.
  • Awesome giveaway!
What I couldn't find on the website, and would love to see, is a computer set for learning, just for toddlers.
  • i think it would be great if there was a "customer reviews" section. It'd be nice to know what others that have bought specific items think about them.
  • Brad
I think it would be great if they had a list of 'brick and mortar' retailers. I know sometimes my wife likes to see things in person before buying.
  • kathy pease
it would be cute if you made a little washer and dryer set or even a living room set :)
  • Shelley
I'd love to see Waldorf Dolls and complementing furniture/clothing/accessories available on the site -- they seem to fit in with the theme of Plan Toys.
  • autumh
I think it would be great if they had a place for customer reviews and comments.
  • autumh
Have your button on my blog site!!
  • Margaret
I would love to see an ecofriendly tea set with cute carrying basket! My granddaughter loves to play tea with us.
  • Sheri F
I would like to see the ability to sort the toys by price and have customer reviews.
  • Veronica Garrett
Some games would be nice. Simple omes that encourage motor skills and learning.
  • Karen
Needs a little housecleaning, reorganizing. There is a lot of info.
  • Lisa Fosses
my daughter would like some pets for the dollhouse families
  • Melissa
Can't wait to see what your infant toy selection will be like. I am hoping you will include colorful stacking rings, blocks, shape sorters and teethers. Also, I would like to see more demonstrations online, maybe interactive online activities or an email newsletter with updates to the site and products!
  • shari
I would love to see baking stuff (mixing bowls, cookie sheets) to go along with their pots and pans in the play kitchen!
  • Brooke
The only thing I can imagine them offering that they don't already would be something for on the go play for pre-schoolers, something portable - like a cardboard or cloth version or of a dollhouse that kids could bring to grandma's house or a restaurant.
  • I know Thailand has tuk tuks and song taews: why not make wooden play versions at Plan Toys?
  • I have your banner on my sidebar!
  • Leann S
Great products, kids need more of this and less princess and spiderman. They could use a greater variety of products.
  • Kathy Conley
How about donating to an animal cause as part of their great environmental work?
  • A Casson
Plan toys are so unique and I think I'd like to see musical instruemnts
  • Marlene V
I don't know if it is just my computer but when I open the site it is slow to load --- so a recommendation would be a website that loads faster. Thanks for the giveaway:)
  • Donna C.
Would love to see some playful childrens jewlery such as beaded necklaces, etc.
  • Sarah
Like others, I would love to see a completed Baby section. There seems to be some in PreSchool toys, but the organization with a separate baby section is a little confusing.
Love their toys! My niece likes to give birthday parties for fun, and a fun birthday set would be neat. Maybe a cake and candles, or cupcakes or something.
    Thanks for the giveaway!
  • Sarah
There are a few things I could suggest, not so much about the website, but more along the lines of new toys and future endeavors. First it would be great to see a castle with princes and princesses. Now days it is so hard to steer children away from every toy trend that comes along and right now it is princesses. I don't like buying junk toys but I want something similar to what my child is interested in. Also is there any way you could branch out to print books? I know that is a stretch, but my daughter loves books and there seems to be very little along the lines of environmentally responsible companies out there that sell good children's books. At least I haven't seen many locally available. I just want something that is produced responsibly and not toxic to my child or the world she lives in. Tall order I know. Thanks for listening.
  • Steve
I love your toys and all the great pictures on the website, but unfortunately for me I still used dial up for my internet and loading most websites is incredibly slow. I would love to see on your website an option to go to a text only page with lists of all your products, still best if sorted by category, so I can pick and choose which toys specifically I would like to look at instead of having to load pictures for several different toys grouped into a category.
  • Newonda
I do think it would be easier to see everything in one category at once, for example ALL of the "preschool" items could show up on one page, all of the thumbnails. Or at least have a "view all" option.
  • Ricka
Very, very nice giveaway. Also like the wooden toy concept.
  • I love that there Toys are ECO Freindly
Non Toxic and They are Reasonably priced..
  • Jannet Tseng
Please keep the website the way it is.
  • R Hicks
would be nice if they accepted paypal!
  • Leah
One thing that would make their site even more magical is being able to see all their products listed on one page. That would make it simpler for a MOMMY like me!

Please know......I love PLAN TOYS for the eco~friendly adventures they inspire!

Thanks so much for this fabulous give~away! : )))

    leahita[at]gmail[dot]com
  • allie
It would be nice if among the City and Vehicle toys there were some bicycles and motorcycles, as well as boats/ships, aside from the pirates and Noah's ark.
  • I would like to see more dollhouses or maybe even a castle that would be appropriate for both boys or girls depending on which accessories were purchased.
  • If more Plan Toys were offered through amazon.com (especially when they qualify for free shipping), the business would expand exponentially!

Thank you for offering Plan Toys through diapers.com now...I was able to get several for free shipping over $49. :)
  • Teresa G
I am always in a hurry when I shop on the internet. 4 active kiddos will do that to you! Maybe they could have more items to a page? That would make it easier for us busy mommies. Thanks for the terrific giveaway!
    teraustin@mindspring.com
  • I have your button :))
  • I would like to see more selection of furniture. Highchairs , step stools, shelves, bookcases, toy box. Plan Toys would make the best of anything they decided to make :))
  • Jeane
Just as the girls have the models that their mothers use..how about something out of the kitchen. Craft desk, tool work table, office station, that kind of thing. Garden table for seedlings. We have to think out side of the box..give them options. Dressing table.
  • Betty
A live chat option for customer support/questions would be nice.
  • Amy B.
I would like to see the weight and height of some stuff. The bigger stuff anyway. I was looking to see how tall the stove and some other things are and I couldn't find it.
  • Dawn
I would like to be able to see what the suggested retail price would be. It would make it easier to plan what to get.
  • R Hicks
More dolls for the little ones would be nice
  • reeva
site could be faster and i hope they'll offer products in all of the major retail stores
  • Lisa Brown
toy age suggestion and more outdoor toy selections.
  • Laura Pruett
I really like the organization of this site. It is very easily navigable.
  • Valerie
Some nice chunky puzzles would be fun!
  • I'd love to be able to see everything they offer on one page. a view all function.
  • Heather M
I don't like when a website doesn't put Up prices of anything. I think this is a must. Expecially when shopping for toys and other play things!

I really Would love to win this for my 2 yr old daughter. She's really getting into play stuff like this... I think It would be great for her.
  • Maggie M
I think they just have to simplify their web site, reorganize the categories under the drop down menus, add customer product reviews, and complete their Baby section.

    maggie@mannwieler.com
  • cynthia
I think more color on the site would look great. As you navigate from one area to another you are blasted with alot of white. But who really cares, Your toys are FANTASTIC!!
  • Melissa
There are many more food items you could explore such as desserts/baking items to add to the kitchen set. I have also been looking for those wooden "lacing" dolls that are flat and you lace yarn or string through the holes around the doll. I loved those as a little girl and would love to have some for my daughter.
  • Mel
How about venturing into playroom furniture too since you have such high quality wooden items. For example, rocking chairs or a toy chest. We are looking high and low for a special toy chest that our daughter can keep forever!
  • Alissa
I think an excellent addition to the playsets would be a castle of some sort! Both girls and boys like to play with castles; some good accessories would be a horse (or unicorn), dragon, and knights.

    lilacflowers180 [AT] yahoo [DOT] com
  • ellen cunningham
My son loves anything to do with with fish and the ocean so maybe you could produce some fish and other aquatic life toys. Thanks for the chance.
  • Deborah Wellenstein
Great toys! It would be nice if there was a link to purchase an item from theonline catalog (if there was one, I didn't find it), rather than clicking "shop online".
  • judy brittle
Offer a monthly newsletter to keep up on whats going on at Plan Toys or new product news. I would sign up.
  • Natalie
I would like it if the play tips had ideas for multiple ages.
  • Jennifer H
One of my favorite things to do growing up was "play" house. I would love to see a little cottage or house that the kids could play inside.
  • Sonya
I'd love to see more variety of play food!
  • barbara
I love plan toys. I would like to see them have a garden wheelbarrow. also a search box on the front page.
  • Rita J
I would like to see a back-pack with the picnic set. My Granddaughter loves Dora and her backpack. When we picnic I use a backpack. Wonderful giveaway and great toys!
  • Heather Wallace
I would like to see a wish list feature on their website. That way I could easily keep up with things I would like to buy in the future without having to go through all of the pages one by one each time.
  • Have they thought about creating more "ride on" or larger climbing toys possible.
  • I think it would be nice if they came out with a line of outside toys.
  • Brad
I think it would make shopping easier if i could see the item and the price on the same page.
  • autumh
I have your button on my blog site!!
  • autumh
I think the main page could be a little more colorful beside just having the alligator toy in the middle with all the drop down menus on top. I do think that simple is good but it a little too simple.
  • Cynthia Shern
    JeansandTs@hotmail.com

I'd like to see them make a complete line of Vehicles and Matching Play mats.( Like: construction vehicles and a site mat, Police vehicles and a City patrol mat, Hauling trucks and a quarry mat, Army Trucks and Post mat, Barbie cars and a Shopping mat, etc....)
  • Teresa Hoyt
I would love to see some toys that help focus on fine motor and language skills! Thanks for the great contest!
    teresa690 at gmail dot com
  • shari
I would always love more storage options for their cool toys! How about some recycled wooden crates (such as vegetable crates) that can be made kid size for storage of their play food?
  • Erin Daly
Wow! What an amazing giveaway! My toddler would go bananas if we won!

For their kitchen play set I would love to see PlanToys offer a set with a chef's hat, apron, pot holders and dish towels. My toddler loves playing pretend "kitchen" and her favorite aspect is using the dish towels and pot holders like mommy and daddy do.
  • Vanessa C.
Their website is lovely - the only thing I think could be inproved is the categories for when you go to 'shop online'. It makes it a bit difficult to find out exatcly where you need to go. Maybe a description of some sort would help?
  • NancyS
Just met my grandaughter for the first time, she is 4. She got to visit for 3 weeks. Would love to win this for her! These are great toys.
  • margaretsmith
In the large kitchen set, I'd love to see a stand mixer available, along with items like, flour, butter, eggs, to make believe bake and also some cookies, brownies and cupcakes. My kids love to make believe cook and this would help enhance their imagination.
    Thanks again.
  • Leann S
Love their products. Anything without a picture of a cartoon or TV character on it is great. Hope they keep their prices affordable for all.
  • Donna C.
I would love to see some toys for outside use.
  • sean pynaert
I would like to see less advertising and more contests. great ideas though!
  • Sage Phoenix
They seem to have everything imaginable. I love the dollhouses. I want one for myself. LOL. They are very modern and are not plastic. No wonder so many home are covered in vinyl these days. We grew up with plastic barbie dollhouses.
  • Kelly
I would like to see a bigger selection of dolls for little girls.
  • Margaret
We love board books and puzzles and would love some safe options. I know it says coming soon, but baby toys are a must, especially teethers. My daughter puts EVERYTHING in her mouth and with various recalls recently, it's scary to think what might be in some of the mainstream plastic toys.
  • Paula Harmon
They should make nice, bright painted (or plain would still look good) cubbies out of that rubberwood that they make the toys out of, so we can store the beautiful toys they make in them. (It's hard to improve such a perfect company!)
  • Marlene V
As a Canadian shopper I would love to see a button that converts the price to Canadian dollars.
  • Candyce
I looked at several products, and saw an option to review what the toys offered developmentally in terms of skill sets, but nothing was listed. I would definitely like to see what developmental skill sets each toy was designed for, and would like to know more about each product other than just dimensions. Thank you so much for the giveaway!
  • Lisa Lagasse
It would be great if there was an option to click the picture to see a 'closer up' view, and also would like to view all toys on one page. Thanks
  • Ricka
Wonderful prize and really like the Plan Toys.
  • Jessica
It would be nice if they had a more detailed description of each item, how big, what it's made of, etc. All in one place when you click on the toy.
  • Jessica & Matt
Wow. This play set looks great. We have been searching for a wooden set that would be versatile and sturdy enough for our rough bunch. This looks like something we would consider even if we don't win.
  • My husband and I were just discussing our current kitchen set...it is only three years old, plastic and small. From day one the kitchen door has fallen off, the food is not realistic and frankly neither is the kitchen. I love this set from PlanToys...wooden, ecofriendly, and the seperate pieces make it easy for more than one child to play house. I know my three kids (one on the way) would love to play with this.
  • sal williams
View all option, more baby toys, some detail shots that show safety features, beveled edges etc. This is a very well organized website. Just lovely. I admire their principles!
  • allie
i'd like to be able to zoom in on the pictures to see them in greater detail.
  • Karen
We love Plan Toys in our house, but I'm sad that my children are rapidly aging out of the Plan Toys target age group. Socially responsible toys made out of sustainable materials should not be limited to the toddler/preschooler age group. I would love it if you would expand your offerings to include more products for the elementary school set!
  • I think they should allow you to purchase from the Catalog
  • Pamella
I love Planet Toys. Although on their website I think it'd be useful to the consumer if it lists the price next to the toy when enlarged for details.
    Thanks for the opportunity!!
  • I'd love to see some more puzzles. Those are a big hit in our house.
  • KATHY S
The toys that our granddaughters have are a testimony to what our family thinks of Plan Toys! Having taught at a Montessori School, my daughter knows that children use their imaginations and have more creative play time with well made wooden toys. What I would like to see at the Plan Toys website though, would be all to be in a column on the left side of the page to make navigation easier. I would like to see categories such as toys by gender (or for both), by age and by type of toy (ride-on, kitchen or household play, doll houses, pull- toys, etc.) The way that the site is now with the banner on the top makes it difficult sometimes to pinpoint your category because they are close together. I do love the bright pictures showing the toys though!
  • Steven Leary
I would love to see plan toys make some sports related toys like hockey sticks or baseball bats. I know those are easy to get nowdays, but I Plan Toys would add a whole new dimension to them with their vibrant colours.
  • Michelle H.
I love the items on the site. I would say that I would like to be able to view more of the items at one time, such as a "view all" feature because sometimes I like to see what a website has to offer and then I find something that catches my eye.
  • autumh
I have your button on my blog page.
  • autumh
It would be wonderful to have the toys seperated by age groups, so it would be a bit easier to navigate the page when your looking for specific toys.
  • A Casson
I love Plan toys and feel they are what we need in this World of eco-ness gone awry. Being Green is a Good thing as MArtha might say and me too!
    skyxsky27(at)gmail.com
  • I would like to see more dollhouses of different styles.
  • Sharonne K.
I suggest that they have some pictures of thier toys right on the front page. By age. By type.
  • LeeAnn P.
This site has a lot of fabulous toys that my kids would love to own. I know my DD would love a vet set with animals and medical instruments so she could take care of all the sick animals.
    murphykatt[at]yahoo[dot]com
  • kim
Multiple views/photos of the dollhouses would be helpful. I could only find a view of the fronts not the backs.
  • Tiffany
I would like to see more information under the product images, including prices and descriptions.
  • Mel
Your toys are fantastic! We love the wooden walkers the best and our daughter still uses it even though she is walking perfectly on her own! One product I didn't see is maybe an iron/ironing board. We love to find little "around the house" items for our daughter. Wish we could buy straight from your website as well! Thanks!
  • Aura
It would be nice to purchase directly from the site
  • Lacy
Prices should be easier to find, and website is difficult to navigate, can't find what you are looking for very easily.
  • Margaret
Maybe offer some more outdoor items like nature kits, gardening kits, camping stuff. Or outdoor games!
  • These are awesome!! My kids would have a fit over them!
    http://elislids.blogspot.com/
  • Jayme
it would be helpful if the website had closeup pictures of the toys and also if they had age suggestions. the animation on the opening page took a long time to load on my computer as well. what a great giveaway and thanks!!
  • Amy L
Again, I think I'd like the catalog to have a place for purchasing and not be a separate area. And the customer service area you would think would be for contact info, Q&Q.

I would say also a search button. And a way to see all products at once. Or like some sites have options to narrow by age and or price. Over all I do love the products though!
  • Lil
I love Plan Toys. :) The one suggestion that I'd make for them is the one I make for all Eco-friendly companies: REDUCE PAPER. I went to the Toy Fair last year and stopped by their booth and their press kit was HUGE. Digital press kits are the way to go. Hand out small biodegradable business cards with the URL of the press kit instead of huge glossy printed paper press kits in fancy folders.

Ok website wise there is one thing that REALLY REALLY bugs me when I am looking for something to buy....... I want to be able to SEE more than six toys at a time. A quick scan and I can tell what I want to buy because with my limited time I can't be sitting at the computer looking at 12 pages with 6 toys each etc.....
  • pam
Beautiful toy selection. If i were to make a suggestion to the site i would include the prices and make it possible to click on a toy for a more complete description. I was cliciking on photos and not able to bring up another page.

Its a great site - perhaps they could consider getting rid of the opening animation - it took a long time to load on my computer. Thanks for the great giveaway!
  • Alissa
I'm impressed with the variety of Rail and Track sets and their structure (particularly the new Alpine set). However, when I was a child, I always like to put the little people *into* their vehicles (whether they be trains, cars, etc) because it's like putting yourself into that world and then *you* get to drive the train. Perhaps drilled holes for the figurines would be an improvement?

  • I love all of their products. I wish the website was easier to navigate. Thanks for the giveaway!
  • Rebecca
I like the dollhouse collection - especially the unique items like outside playground and treehouse.
  • Becca
The wooden baby toys are my favorite - much better quality than the plastic ones everywhere.
  • I just love all the kitchen toys and accessories - I love the look and style of them!
  • Simone
I would like to be able to sort by bestselling. Thanks!
  • I have your button on my blog now, if that still counts as an extra entry!
  • Tasha, Bellaziza Columnist
Tiffany - it certainly does! Thanks!!!
  • I've had problems a few times when I've gone to the site--there is a pop-up that says "What Can a Simple Wooden Toy Do?" When I close that window, nothing appears underneath it. There is a square of white space, and I can't get the drop-down menus to work. (I use Mozilla, if that matters. Not sure if it's a problem with IE.)
  • April E
I have been a long admirer of Plan Toys. But I would love to see some toys that have mutiple uses and encourage more use of imagination, especially the largescale ones. Such as Rocket ship that is you removed a few snap in pieces could be a submarine. Or a Toy box that could be used as a table. But keep up the good work. Thanks
  • Denise B.
With illiteracy on the rise and public schools lack of focus on real academics, it would be nice to see them promote through their products such learning as true phonics.
  • Paula H
I would love to see more baby toys like rattles, teethers and chubby wooden animals that are safe for a baby to chew on. I found the site fast and easy to navigate. I've been on many times and have never had a problem.
  • Donna C.
Would love to see some board games. I don't think I saw any of those on the site.
  • Sonya
I'd like more selection of play food!
  • Maggie M
I didn't notice any product reviews by customers on their web site? They should definitely show product reviews made by purchasers of their products:)

    maggie@mannwieler.com
  • Brad
my wife emailed this link to me to take a look at the toys. i thik it would be great if they had an "outdoor" line of toys.
  • I don't understand why you can view the toys on one page but then have to pull them up somewhere else to see the price and order. seems like you could save a few steps.
  • I would really like a "view all" option when viewing the toys. somtimes we're in a time crunch when looking and loading all the toys at once and being able to scroll through them would be helpfull. Wonderful toys none-the-less!
  • judy brittle
I would love to see vehicles from the past. Like covered wagons, horse drawn carriage,
horse with saddle. It could be a way to tell children about the old west.
  • vicki andrew
site was hard to move through, I would like to see more toys that parents could play with their children with . Also music makers, could not find on the site
  • shari
I see they have some breakfast and fruits and vegetables for their kitchen set--how about some dinner or lunch type of items also--such as a make your own sandwhich kit.
  • Jaclyn Reynolds
The play kitchen and accessories are incredible! I'm very interested in how the company uses rubber trees and all the benefits that come from that. The website is incredibly easy to navigate. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
  • Newonda
I don't know if this would be popular but I enjoy learning about ways to use toys like these to teach my kids using montessori or waldorf principles.
Maybe Plan toys could have "activity" ideas of things parents could do with each toy to engage their child. Not all of us are creative!
  • Amy B.
I would like to see some tools for little boys. If they are on there I must have looked over them but My son loves tools and his tool belt. Wooden tools would last so much longer than plastic. Not to mention more safer. Thanks again for the chance to win this.
  • What a great give away. We love plan city. Our son has the deluxe road sytem and santa brought him teh parking garage for christmas.

There are a couple of things that we woudld love to see....

    1) the ability to buy individual pieces of road instead of 'sets.' We only have so much room to configure things - and having an extra couple of piece would be great.

    2) The rubber ppeces that snap into the road - extra ones of that. My partner is always saying "If only that end would 'fit' into this end." Having some extra rubber peices that we cold glue in would be great!

    3) Though our child loves his 'baby' cars(that is what he calls plan city cares), he uses his hotwheels all the time on his plan city toys - maybe some 'racing car' type cars...

    4) We too would love to see a zoo and some outside toys.

    5) on the website: i did not see it - but maybe a wish list area? i would love to be able to put in a wish list for relatives to see....

Keep making them - we will buy them.

    Thanks -

    Amanda
  • Melissa S
I would suggest maybe adding product reviews to your website. Also my daughter loves dolls but we have been searching for some accessories for her dolls like doll-sized stroller, playpen, and maybe more clothing.
  • Lana
First of all, the toys are great. I love them being made of wood, not plastic. I wish the website were more interactive. It would be also nice if "shop online" section would have a better display of products. There are the people who do not like to scroll down. The "See All" option would be a great addition as well.
  • Leann S
I love how open ended these toys are. It would be nice if I could view more than 6 at a time.
  • Alicia
Maybe one slight improvement...a small description of the toys. Size or weight, what the intent in development may be.
  • Abigail
    Wow! Awesome giveaway!

I love ALL that Plan Toys has to offer. I'd like to see wooden teethers for infants and cloth puppets for bigger children.
  • Carolyn Nedrow
I love the quality of the toys and the website is great but perhaps some more outdoor type toys would be nice!
    cjnedrow@gmail.com
  • I'd love to see some toy boxes - I bet they could come up with some really awesome ones!
  • Marlene V
I would love to see feedback about the products --- customer reviews and ratings.
    Thanks for the giveaway!!!
  • Paula Harmon
Boy, this is a tough one, Plan Toys is so great...let me think...since they make such beautiful toys out of that rubberwood, maybe they could make toyboxes, storage benches, or toyshelves out of that stuff too...that's my idea. (I hope nobody else had that idea. I want to be original!)
  • Ricka
A great gift. Would like the "site" to be easier to navigate.
  • allie
I'd be interested tp learn more about the factory and the workers who make Plan Toys.
  • Shelley
I would love to see some waldorf dolls available.
  • I would like to see educational as a category. A globe, an abacus, tangrams, simple machines,a learning time clock. Montessori type of toys.
  • April
I was thinking about this contest today ... oh, okay, I was dreaming about the kitchen set ... and then it hit me, a high chair - more furniture!
  • My suggestion is to offer free shipping! You'd be amazed how many people are turned off just because they have to pay shipping. A "free shipping on orders over $50" usually works!
  • I would love to have links to the toys from the developmental section that suggests various types of toys.
  • Sonya
I'd love to see some heavy duty babydoll furniture!
  • A Casson
These toys are Fabulous in the fact they come from a Green Company so Kudos to you for that!!! skyxsky(at)gmail.com
  • I would love to see more stuff for "playing house" brooms, vaccuums etc.
  • I added your button to my blog.
  • It's so important to teach young toddlers to take pride in their home and their things. To make them feel good about helping you with everyday cleaning and housework. I would love to see a line of cleaning or home care products like toy vacuums, brooms, lawn mowers....maybe even a large scale toy like a washer and dryer combo. I am at home with my 2 and 4 year old all day and they LOVE to help mommy with laundry and sweeping. It builds confidence for them to feel like they are helping (even when sometimes it makes a little more work for mommy) plus they learn responsibility....important stuff for our little loves. :)
  • What a great prize package! I would like for you to add reviews to your products. I always read them, especially if it's a large purchase. For your kitchen products, I'd like for you to add more "cutting" food - maybe sliced bread. My daughter loves to cut the veggies.

I'm adding a blog post & your button to my blog to get EXTRAS!

    http://jayefamily.blogspot.com
    dj0811@bellsouth.net

    Thanks! Donnetta
  • My suggestion for the website is that they show the prices of the toys in the catalouge. It was very confusing the first time, to go to the other site, just to see the price. I would like to see the toys close up like on their main site, but also have the price there too.
  • Katharine Davis
Organic Wooden teethers and rattles, I need a bunch, a good selection. People keep giving me these awful made in China plastic things that I don't want anywhere near my child's mouth
  • Natalie
I would like to see a selection of toys that are good for multiple ages.
  • judy brittle
I think their shop online page should be the main page where all products are listed and you can see the prices.
  • Peggy Miller
WOW! so generous --- you're going to make one person very happy!
  • I would love this package! Wow!! I would love it if the company would put all the products for one age group together on one page versus only a few at a time...would like to see all the items at once then click on what I want to see more details:)
  • Jennifer Vergin
I would like to know the sizes of these items.
  • Melissa S
How about on the website you have some interactives "green" lessons for kids or other fun games. And for the products themselves, especially the walkers, etc have kids modeling them or using them (demo videos) just a little extra something to personalize the products! Also would love a rocking chair for my toddler.
  • Diane
The site looks great and loads of fun toys, loads quick too. I would like to see suggested prices so I know what to expect when I go to a store. Thanks for the giveaway.
  • Amy L
I'd like to see the price included. Its very helpful in deciding what you want when. I just realized you can click on customer service AND THEN shop online. But why the separation? Why not have the catalog be like other online catalogs, where you can see what you want click add to cart and ta da,just like that you've ordered, easy. Instead you have to figure out that you click on customer service, which is a category that usually contains Q&A and contact info etc. Its not very intuitive. Its counter-intuitive.
  • Marlene V
I would like to see a most popular buys or toys section. Thanks for the great contest:)
  • Shelley
I would like to see Waldorf Dolls available, which seems very aligned with their theme.
  • Claire
I have so many fingers crossed for this one!

Improve - let's see. Well, their site is super slow for some reason, and i would love a view all option. I would also love to see some outdoor play options and more musical instruments! And is there a good tea set? I did not see one - one that is not pink!
  • Wow what a great giveaway!! I have never really looked at PlanToys before but I could see where my boys would love this stuff. I like that a the products don't involve a lot of lights and sound and use more imagination.

When I looked at the website it seemed like a lot of reading. I really wanted to find the products with prices right away to know if I could even consider purchasing anything. I would suggest making it more clear on how to purchase NOW!! If customers don't see that they might just assume its not possible via this site. Also, any discounts that could be made available for people might help too because everything did seem a bit pricey for the average family, but I know, its the quality. People are looking for deals though these days so anything helps.
  • R Hicks
Site is done very well. I would like to see more reviews on products!
  • Sonya
I love Plan Toys! Their wooden toys are amazing and they last forever!
  • I really appreciate the variety of fruits and veggies in their selection - so many play sets include only junk food! So I'd like to suggest even MORE fruit and veggie options - avocados, pea pods, broccoli, strawberries, mango - because I've noticed if the kids "pretend eat" a bigger variety of food, when supper time comes, they reall do eat it!
  • Aura
There is very little Plan Toys could improve on- they're excellent already! Although I do with you could click directly on the picture rather than the links under the pictures.
  • Katy
I LOVE PlanToys and this is a great giveaway! I love the website but it would be really helpful to mom's who are in a hurry looking to see prices, age breakdowns, and "see all" choices! The more easier to navigate a page, the more likely I am to buy because its quick, organized and easy--a mom's wish :)! Also, I would love to see more pretend food choices and cups, pots, etc.!
  • I have your button!!
  • I hate to be a buzzkill and I do love plan toys, but I dont really like the how the drop downs are on the categories across the top of the homepage. Its too easy for me to barely slide off of where I want to be. Its just a huge pet peeve of mine!!
  • Sylvia
Great giveaway! Your products look great but I really need to see the prices while I'm browsing.
    Thanks! sylviarj@yahoo.com
  • Valerie
A "view all" or the ability to set the number of items listed per page. Showing just a few at a time means it takes forever to scroll through a large category.
  • I love the kitchen toys, I think wood toys are so cool and without all those annoying bells and whistles (and batteries!!) it really encourages imagination!

The website could be a bit easier to navigate, I find it tough to find prices on the items (haven't found any yet, going to go keep trying)
  • Newonda
PlanToys does charity work; it would be neat to have a blog or some other way to share about that work in a personal way, so customers can put faces with the numbers.
  • Margaret
How about some things to nurture kids artistic side? Musical instruments, an easel for painting, or arts and crafts kits.
  • Amy B.
I would love to see some more outside toys for children. Maybe some out door games for the whole family to enjoy together.
  • I have your banner on my blog.
  • Breezy's Mom
Haven't heard of them; really like what I saw on-line. My suggestion would be a more user-friendly website that is easier to navigate...like putting prices in the on-line catalog and having an order button on the main page. This is a great giveaway!
  • I really respect PlanToys and it is hard for me to come up with ways for them to improve! :)
I would love to see pictures of the toys in process, maybe some profiles of the designers and an inside look at the factory? I'm interested in things like that.
I got to tour a wooden toy factory in Chaing Mai, Thailand and I have always wanted to visit PlanToys but I couldn't find where the factory was located. :)
  • Lacy
Great toys, but would be nice if they had dolls or more toys geared toward younger children.
  • autumh
Have your button on my blog site.
  • autumh
I think it would be wonderful if they provided the information of what the products were made of in the descriptions.
  • shari
How bout a cool stand mixer (kind of like a kitchenaide one) for the kitchen set?
  • Tammy Grady
I thought the site was good, but that the pencil drawings seemed too much of a contrast. Perhaps thicker lined sketches or a splash of color would seem more in synch.
  • connie m
I think more outdoor toys and games would be great! Thanks so much for the awesome swag!
  • Hot Mama
How about some fairy dollhouses/accessories? Maybe some dollhouses that look a bit more girly? Everything is awesome as-is, but I'd like a little break from the bright colors and my Princess insists that everything be pink!
  • Mel
Fantastic company, we love what you stand for, and in these tough times our family is particularly choosy about where we spend our money, and on what! We feel great about putting money towards companies who share our morals and view of the world!
How about products designed and sold as "kits" for specific careers such as doctor/nurse kit, veterinarian, teacher, carpenter/plumber, mailman or maybe a chemistry lab kit with microscope, magnifying glass, etc. Our little girl loves her girly shopping cart, vacuum, etc but how great would it be to start her off young knowing she has the world at her fingertips and can be anything she wants to be!
We also love books here---lift the flap, cloth, etc would be nice to see!
  • Emilie P
The ease of navigating on the website is a bit lacking. More categories for age and sex would help a lot. I love all the PlanToys we have for their wonderful quality and I think my two little boys would go NUTS for this kitchen. My two year old son was just serving me up some "soup" (a.k.a. water in a bowl) last night and is really getting into cooking. Thanks!
  • Steve
I would like to see the large scale toys section increased. I'd very much like to see a "workshop" set with tools and workbenches and the like. Also something like a picnic set would be great, that includes a picnic table.
  • I also blogged about you here! So love your site.
    http://thetightropeofmylife.blogspot.com/
  • When I click on the Cross symbol to see safety information for a specific item no additional information displays, it doesn't direct me to another page...it just reloads the same page. It would be great to know about specific safety info for each item. Especially with the toys for younger children such as the woodpecker walker and such. Thanks for creating such wonderful toys though!
  • Mhenry
So this may seem a little picky, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the doll houses and all of the accessories. However, the 'dog' that comes with the pets and accessories set looks more like a cow then a dog...although I will admit I love them all so much I could probably get over it. In addition when navigating your site the "next page" button is so small it actually took me a few different categories to realize there were more than just 6 toys in each…I could be a little slow or I could just be a tired mommy of 4 ;) thanks so much.
  • Mhenry
Either remove or stet up the "Plan Baby" link under the catalog. I was supper excited to se what else you may have in store for the youngest members of our family, only to find out the link was under construction. Even just moving the contents under Baby under Preschool could be a good organizational move. Thanks so much! Love the toys.
  • I also added your button to my side bar as well!
    http://thehenrydoodlebugs.blogspot.com/
  • I posted about your site today! Love it! So glad I stumbled upon it!
    http://thehenrydoodlebugs.blogspot.com/
  • I would like a little more explanation on their "in house" safety standards and how they compare to the federal standards. could be really helpful that extra cautious first time mama ;) So in love with their toys too!
  • I had never heard of their toys but read around on their website and think that they are an awesome company. However, I wasn't crazy about how many clicks it takes to get to see their products. Secondly, I think that they need to move their search boxes to a more visable place on the screen.
  • I have never heard of this company before, so this was a nice little surprise! The products look great! I would love to have that kitchen set! My daughter LOOOVES to play cook.
I found the website a little difficult to navigate. Like it took me a minute to find the SHOP online option. That is a little frustrating that it isn't right out there in the open. I guess since I haven't tried any of their products, the website is about all I can comment on. And, making a shop by age option would be nice, too.
  • Brandi
I would love to have this for my girls. I have to say, the toys look fabulous, but... the website isn't mom friendly for this mom of three. I don't care for drop down menus. I want to see at least an MSRP. I don't want to really want something and then find out it is way out of my price range. I would like to see some toy organization options and some furniture. I really think price points should be offered for the doll families as well as individual dolls. Our family is a rainbow of colors and I would like for the dolls to match our life. Also, I prefer to attach code to the picture instead of the text for page jumps. Sometimes I can miss the little type at the bottom. Clicking a picture helps me move faster.
  • I'd love to see some more play food on their site. Lunch/dinner items and snacks.
  • I like the reviews- it is always nice to have some idea of how well other kids take to things.
  • Carolyn Nedrow
I love the quality of the toys as for any improvements I would love so see more outdoor type of toys made available!
    cjnedrow@gmail.com
  • Leann S
Awesome product but pricing information was hard to find.
  • Donna C.
It's hard to improve on a company that makes such fantastic toys. I would love to see some dolls added. I know they have the dolls for the playhouse but I'm talking more about soft dolls for dressing, etc.
  • Julie Davis
I found it diffcult at first to figure out what the price was for the toys. Once I saw the "shop online" button I figured it out. But, if there was a way for their description page to have a "buy now" option, or at least the price listed for information, that would be great.
I had not heard of this company before, but I love it! Thank you for introducing me to them.
  • One thing I seriously consider when I am shopping online is customer ratings. I always like to click on a product and see "Rate This Item" or "Read Reviews." I value that information and it is a big factor whether I decide to purchase or not. So I say adding a rating/review system would be helpful!
  • Ricka
Really nice gift. Would like to see some wooden games.
  • allie
The pop-up that's coming up on the Plan Toys site currently is causing some difficulty -- forcing a pop-up is annoying, but also when I close the window, I cannot see the regular site! My suggestion is to avoid using forced pop ups like this.
  • I'd like to see more outside types of toys - picnic table, tree swing, beach umbrella. Can you tell I'm thinking spring!!!
  • Kathy S
Oh how we love Plan Toys. As grandparents of two little girls, we can see the difference in how they play when they have cheap plastic toys with batteries, and beautiful Wooden Toys from Plan! Their imaginations soar, and though they are just turning 2 and 6, their conversations in their play with their wooden doll house, or blocks and little animals is so creative. I wish though that the Plan Toys website were a bit easier to navigate. I don't care for the categories being on the top of the page where I have to keep going back to check another item, and they are quite vague and sometimes hard to pinpoint with the mouse...resulting in my clicking on the wrong item because they are so close. A better idea would be to have a column to the left with categories of toys such as toys by gender (or both genders), by age, and by items (such as doll houses, blocks, ride-on toys, pull-toys, etc.) Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing because their toys are wonderful and very educational.
  • Amy L
I still think including price on their website. These are toys that inspire enough creative play and are sturdy enough and hold just the right nostalgic value to encourage buyers to try and fit the toys into their budget. Even those willing to do this want to see the price.
  • JamiL
First of all, no drop down menus. I hate when sites have these because you always end up clicking on the wrong thing because the menu keeps dropping or going back up. Second, make the pictures clickable so you don't have to click on the tiny title under the picture. Also, put the prices under the picture and title as well. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway! We love plan toys! My daughter plays her xylophone DAILY!
  • Arlene Anthony
More toys for younger aged kids.
  • barbara
I would like to see a baby cradle or doll bed
  • Simone
I think it would be great if the pictures of the toys were clickable. Thanks!
  • Jennifer
I also was hoping to see Canadian locations/distributors on your site. I'm sure there are Canadian customers ordering through American online sites, but it can be tricky for us to find the e-tailers that ship to us. Perhaps you could direct us better to those that cater to Canadian orders. Fantastic site and products that many, many Canadians would be excited to see. I can see this sort of toy company excelling in Canada's west - Vancouver. They seem to spearhead the environmental movements in Canada.
  • A Casson
These kinds of toys should be all the Rage with the eco-problems of late. Love them
  • Brenda
First off, WOW, great giveaway, thanks. Really a great selection of toys on this site, only thing I would improve on is to put the prices below the pictures and putting a button for listing of girl, boy or both and possibly by age group, thanks again and good luck to all of you
  • Jennifer
The toys are amazing!!! I too would love to see the toys and prices on one page. Amazing give away!
  • Sonya
I would love to see a selection of ethnic play food!
  • Kristy V
I would like to be able to see the prices with the first view of the product. I think to colors of the toys are great!
  • shari
I'd love to see a child size rocking chair
  • Angela J
I like the site the way it is, the prize is fantastic!
  • I would love to see more animal toys, like a zoo!
  • Monique Rizzo
I would LOVE to see a retired toy area AND a customized storage bin set or something!!
  • Aura
I happen to find drop down menus very irratating. It's very hard to click on what you need without it moving back up
  • Lindsey
I would just say a more in-depth search option for the toys that may break down age brackets, genders, etc. Thanks, what a prize!!
  • Maggie M
I would also suggest that they move "Patterns of Play" under "PlanToys Catalog" drop down menu as another sub-category; maybe replacing "Baby" under the drop down menu. You know, I love PlanToys so much, I feel like I'm nit-picking at their web site, which I'm not trying to do...but you did ask for suggestions :)

    maggie@mannwieler.com
  • I have a 4 year old, a2 year old, a 1 year old and another on the way. My kids would GO NUTS for this kitchen!!! As for their wonderful website, it would be nice to have an option to view the toys by age appropriateness.
  • Sonya Allstun
make the site easier to navigate and more toys for the 0-2 yr olds
  • Your site Button is on my sidebar here
  • I'd like to see a site change Larger pictures of the items and instead of a list I'd like to see a page of blocks with items in each block. Right now it's difficult to see and compare toys.
  • Leslee Laverdure
My one suggestion is to put the prices in the catalog instead of going to the online shoping tab.
  • autumh
I have your button on my blog.
  • autumh
I wish that when you pulled up the toys, that you wouldn't have to click on them individually to get their prices..makes it pretty frustrating. I would like to look at all of the toys on one page with the prices and not have to click unless I wanted more detailed information.
  • judy brittle
I was thinking a child's desk for doing homework.
  • pamela s.
I would like some pots and pans for the kitchen sets.
  • Kim
I like that most of the toys are very unique. Not the same old stuff.
  • Alissa
I like the Plan City, however, one thing I was always disappointed in as a child was that the playmats never changed. If I was a company, I would produce several different playmats. This really would make a big difference to a child because it extends the usage of the city/accessories as you can create “different” worlds instead of just one.

    lilacflowers180 AT yahoo DOT com
  • MJ
I'dlove to see a zoo! I know they would do a great job with all of the animals!
  • Sonya
I'd love to see a better selection of kitchen items!
  • I really think the management at plantoys should look into Montessori materials. These all wood materials are educational and each teaches a different skill. They have been around for over 100 years and have proven their effectiveness over and over. Visit a Montessori school or look at Montessori products http://www.bruinsmontessori.com/products.php
  • kay
    how's about a toaster oven?
  • helen
more kitchen accessories would be nice
  • I couldn't find any art toys on their site. Perhaps an easel or drafting table would be a nice addition to their line?
  • They have such awesome toys! I love the simple and sleek designs.

The only suggestion for the website is making it easier to navigate back and forth between categories. I found that a little confusing.

Also, I'd love to see the kind of baby dolls or stuffed animals they could make.

    Thanks!
  • Louis Huf
maybe make more than 6 items viewable per page - I hate clicking through all kind of pages to come to where I want to go
  • Lindsay
What about a "clearance" or "on sale" section, or perhaps giveaways/ half priced item day, etc???? Thanks for the giveaway! Love the company.
  • laura
Maybe not so many choices in the navigation system. Why not a 'view all' button? Instead of going through....age...then another selection...etc.

Also, how about some space toys? like a rocket ship, etc?

    thanks!
  • Maybe a retired toy area so we can see the history of plan toys and what they created first.
  • Janay
I love the website!!! I didn't even know that they existed.. So thanks :)

I would love to see some more outdoor toys for kids.
  • molly
The toys look like they are a lot of fun. I'd love to see some "soft" toys as well.
  • Amy B.
I love that they just about have everything about their company on the website. Like Videos and stuff about earthday with helping kids understand what it means. There just isn't to much you can improve on the site. I would love to own their toys. Thanks for the chance.
  • Shelley Hale
I think more childrens furniture, of the cool modern aesthetic variety, would be great.
  • sarah
I love these toys!!! There isn't really anything i would change that has not been said already!!
  • My suggestion would be to maybe create a line without using paint so that with all this controversy, parents wouldn't have to worry. Other than that, just keep making more and more of these beautiful toys!!
  • Natalie
Please, please add some user-navigatable close-ups!
  • I'd love to see some actual baby dolls (maybe I've missed them?). Especially boy dolls.
  • I would like to see gift category broken down by age/price.
  • Lindsay M
I'd like to see children in the pictures of the toys playing with the dollhouse, parking garage, etc. Thanks for the great giveaway!
  • Lindz
I love this website, I've never been to it before-it's now a favorite of mine! I'd suggest that Plan toys add a section on nutrition under the Parents and Child section. Because they already have developmental milestones and tips on age appropriate toys I think it’d be nice to see a section on nutrition-that would also help go along with all of the kitchen and food toys!
  • beth shepherd
I love this site! I would like to see more games. Thank you!
    tatertot374@sbcglobal.net
  • I have your banner up!
  • I know! Plan Toys needs to be on Twitter! I would folllow them! I'm @MomMostTraveled.
  • Newonda
What if there was some kind of Plan Toys club or forum so that people can feel like they are a part of something?
  • connie
I'd like to see more wooden game sets. Like maybe a nice memory game? Thanks so much!!!!
  • I have your buttn on my blog www.pictureofmyworld.blogspot.com
  • shar
more multicultural themes and more outdoor toys
  • Adding some wooden puzzles to the collection would be nice. My kids love puzzles and sometimes it is hard to find wooden puzzles that hold up well.
  • Emilie P
I'd like to see easier catergorizing of the toys as many others have said. I like to be able to see toys based on gender and age group easily. I love all your toys though and the PlanToys we do have are very much loved. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!
  • Why not combine the catalog with the shop online feature? You can browse through items and shop at the same time. If that's not possible, then make the "Shop Online" option very prominent on the home page.

Keep up the good work, Plan Toys!
  • Carolyn Nedrow
I love the website and the quality of the toys but it would be helpful to have more specials with bargain prices from time to time, thanks!
    cjnedrow@gmail.com
  • Laura Miller
your button is on my blog!

    http://simply--be.blogspot.com/
  • Mary A
The menus at the top of the page a look really nice and simple but they are a little difficult to navigate using a laptop without a mouse (plus a toddler bouncing in your lap). Thanks for the giveaway.
  • It took me a minute to figure out how to shop online, but once I did was happy with what I saw! I too would like to see what you've got for babies! I love the kitchen items! I also love the parking garage and airport!
  • Michelle
I think the catalog should be more visible on the website. You can click to look at the toys, but have to click a different button to shop online.

I'd also like it if the toys were a little less expensive.
  • Valerie
I like the aesthetics of the site - the simplicity and colors and pictures are great. I like that it doesn't overwhelm like so many other toy sites. But I find the menus hard to navigate - the print is very small and to hover over the selection you want and slowly move the mouse along that line so you can access the submenus that pop up to the right is hard. It might just be my fat pregnant fingers, but I find it hard sometimes to stay on the same line and find myself trying several times, which gets frustrating.
  • Elaine J
It all looks great - I would love to see dollhouses modelled on houses from different countries. How about a yurt? Or a Japanese-style house? Or a palapa?

Also, we love to camp during the summer - how about a tent or a trailer set with some trees and wild animal figures?
  • Lacy
Easier ordering and bigger pictures would be great, but I love the toys!
  • Katharine Davis
I would LOVE to see a large scale rocket ship or space station for my boys to play with
  • Sharon S
Those items are so cute.. More imagination toys would be by suggestion. Thank you for the contest
  • Marlene V
I would love to see the Baby section up and running:) Thanks for the contest!!!
  • Angela K
I love the products and the web page content. My only complaint is that it is hard to navigate the website. You have to mouse down and then to the right to get the lowest level menu options, but I inevitably lose my place in the middle menu so it's a bit tricky. I would prefer to have only 1 level drop down menu, and also the ability to see all product on one page, with only having to scroll down to see them.
  • Yanick
I think the toys are inovative! Let me think outside the of toys for my boys. One suggestion I have is to make the picrures of the toys clickable and the price. Also I'm not sure if my computer but the site run a tad bit slow, maybe inprove of the speed.
  • Steve
I love your toys and would love to win the kitchen set.

I think Plan Toys should try and expand their musical instruments section. Both my wife and I are heavily involved in music and would love to see the same in our children. The banjo is great, but I'd like to see a guitar, and some wind instruments like a mini flute, or saxophone or trumpet...even though I'm sure wind instruments can be difficult to make.
  • Kirsten
I always forget that the pictures aren't clickable and then I try to figure out how to enlarge it. THEN I remember it is the words underneath that are clickable...I guess I would appreciate it if the picture was clickable.
  • Donna C.
I would love to see a line of children's jewlery added to the mix.
  • I put your button on my blog!!
  • Just found out about you but in looking at their website I think easier navigation. I do good amount of shopping online and didn't think that it was very easy to get around. I would love to see a price list. The toys look fabulous and I am glad to find you. Very generous giveaway and I added your button to my blog. Thanks for the opportunity!
  • Ricka
Great giveaway, grandkids would love this. And the plan toys are great, have alway liked wooden toys.
  • i love plan toys! i wish they had larger type dolls.
  • Julie
It's a great website and their products is amazing, but I would love to see a page for Canadian. Thanks
  • Shelley
Wow! What a generous giveaway! My daughter would LOVE this! I would love to see Waldorf Dolls (plush, though) offered!
  • Jenny
What a fantastic giveaway. I think it would beneficial to have the prices listed underneath each toy instead of having to click to find out the price. Also, some more wooden games would be nice to see.

Thanks for the chance to win such a fantastic prize.
  • allie
I love the wooden trike and would love to see more riding toys aside from the rocking horses.
  • Chantel
I absolutely love the toys, my son owns a few. I would like to navigate on the website quicker because it's very slow at navigating and opening items.
  • When I visited your website I could not figure out how to buy something! Yikes! I would consider myself fairly web-savvy...I cannot imagine someone who is less familiar with shopping online trying to buy something from your site.

Also, I would like it if I could click on the image (rather than just the title below) to see the blown up image of the toy with the detailed information. Having to just click on the text also makes navigating and getting to the end product more cumbersome.

It would also be easier if there was a "see all" instead of having to go page to page to page.

What great products though and of course, we would love to win the kitchen set to play with at our house :)
  • Ashton
I would love to see more colors to choose from. For example, it would be nice to be able to have a few more colors to choose from for the toaster.
  • I would love to be able to search for toys by age group!
  • KATHY S
We try to buy our 2 granddaughters mostly wooden toys because they seem to really stimulate their imaginations and they like to "imitate" what Mommy does around the house. This is a beautiful kitchen set. I would love to see the Plan Toys website "columnize" their categories into gender...either boy, girl, or either, and to categorize the toys as to age group and what kind of play it would be appropriate for, such as "make-believe", dolls, pull-toys, etc.
  • Carolyn Nedrow
I think the website and the products are terrific! My suggestion would be for more outside toys to be made available!
    cjnedrow@gmail.com
  • It's hard to think of something because they already have so many wonderful things. They could try some really good games for young children.
  • I would like to see more of a selection for outdoor toys~
  • I blogged about you! :)
  • I just recently bought some Plan Toys for my son who will be turning one in a few days. The toys just arrived today, and I look forward to giving them to him.

I spent many hours looking for safe and eco-friendly toys. I liked Plan Toys the best, but I did feel like there was not much selection for a one-year-old. There are lots of baby teethers and toys for 19 months and up, but I couldn't find many things appropriate for the 12-18 month range. I will end up giving him several toys that are intended for 19 months and up, and I'll just have to put them away for a few months until he grows into them, I guess. :(

But thank you, Plan Toys, for your mission for creating safe toys for our little ones! I wish I'd found you before Christmas--my 3 year-old would love the preschool toys!
  • I would love to be able to buy the toys online directly from Plan Toys instead of having to hunt around for a retailer that sells the things I want. I would just like it to be easier to get this great stuff!
  • LisaW
Wonderful toys (My sons would LOVE the riding toys), but I wish it was easier to browse them on the website. It's not horribly disorganized, but it's a little cumbersome to move through the categories like it is now. Thanks!
  • I love the Noah's ArK! My boys would love the Pirate Ship and I think the Native American Set would be a perfect addition to North American history!

I would like to see a workbench and tools and more history related toys.

Thanks for a chance at this!
  • Sonya
I would love to see a variety of ethnic foods in their kitchen play area.
  • Kelly
I would love to see some outdoor "kid size" items. I can envision a really nice wood house to play in. :)
  • judy brittle
It would be really nice to see some pictures of their wonderful toys on the main page Just to get a taste of more to come. as you navigate.
  • Kristy V
The toys look very sturdy. I would like to see they toys seperated by skill levels.
  • I proudly display your button :)))
  • Plan toys is definitely a company that promotes a vision steeped in eco-consciousness and also has an eye toward design and developmentally appropriate toys. I do think that they could eventually expand to include bath toys. There is such a vacuous hole in the bath toy arena for items that are safe, fun, and functional. Additionally, I think Plan does an exceptional job at resisting the urge to be driven by gender stereotypes. Finally, I think some more outdoor toys (beyond the ride on vehicles, etc) would be great. What a spectacular giveaway!
  • Oh my, are you trying to torture us?? I just spent quite awhile looking around the site for the 50th time & I can't honestly think of a thing to change. I mean they have done so much with wood. My son suggested maybe a fairy or woodland creatures set. :))

I can't believe you're having another Plan Toys giveaway!!! Thank you :))))
  • Kim
Oh I LOVE Plan Toys. We got the kids their dishes this year for Christmas from Plan Toys. They are such wonderful, sturdy toys!!

As for improving the website -- I'd like to see the categories on the left hand side rather than the drop down menu at the top.

    Thanks for the giveaway!
  • shari
How about an African Safari set? Kind of like their farm one
  • veronica sandberg
I didn't seen anything that they needed to improve or add.
  • Melissa
I didn't see a workbench, my son loves tools!
  • David Clark
I think that their website is easy to navigate and I would not change a thing about it. My only suggestion is that they may want to advertise more. I am constantly buying toys for my children and I've never heard of them before. I found out through their website that they have a store that sells these toys near me. I will now be going there to shop for an upcoming birthday.

    Thanks for the contest!

    superdavefive(at)yahoo(dot)com
  • Maggie M
A couple of other web site changes I'd make if I were in charge would be under the PlanToys Catalog drop down menu: first I would remove "Shop Online" and make it a drop down Menu Category of it's own, and, under the same drop down menu, where 'Plan Activity' appears, to the right of it, I would change the word "Impulse" to something more understandable, like "Wind Up and Propelled Toys".

    maggie@mannwieler.com
  • Stacie
This looks like an wonderful company with great products. As with many websites, it would be nice if the prices were listed right with the product. Busy moms just need the bottom line, we don't have time to dance around the website. My daughter turns 3 in March, this would be fabulous.
  • The toys are great, but the website could be better developed. I need to know the price upfront... because no matter how awesome the product is I can't get it if its out of my price range... and lets face it, who wants to fall in love with a toy to only find out you can't afford to get it for your children?
  • Denise
I am so excited to have discovered this website. I am ready to buy some new toys for my girls. The website could use some more color, it is so plain. I would also like to see prices when looking thru all the toys. I love the concept and have been trying to be more green at home. I think these are unique toys, my children get so many duplicates now. So, I can't wait to buy some for presents too.
  • More items for young ones would be nice (infant). The site itself is a little difficult to navigate.
  • Alicia
I always love toys that are made of wood. Plastic toys are in abundance, but fall apart so easily.
The website seemed clean and crisp. I thought it was easy to navigate. I don't need a lot of frill on every page.
  • I have your button too!

    www.mamasmoneysavers.com
  • I would love to see some outdoor toys. Thanks!
  • Valerie
More games! The balancing games and other games they have look like fun, but it would be cool to see some board games and other active games.
  • Lisa
I would like to see the search function work more like a google search.
  • Carrie Miyake
site navigation isn’t the easiest, it is not bad but not the most user friendly especially for those that are computer challenged!
  • April
What an amazing giveaway! I love anything enviromentally friendly ; )

I have to admit, this is the first time I've heard about this company. I checked out their website, and loved their products. However, I was not able to see any prices or an option to 'add to card.' Maybe I'm missing something, but their site was not very user-friendly.
  • Angela C
I would like to see some BBQ items...such as a grill and accessories. Our family loves to cook out and a miniature item of the real thing would make their day!
    Thanks!
    mycreativecontainers(at)yahoo(dot)com
  • Julie G
We love Plan toys! However, I always find the website hard to navigate. Sometimes I want to see ALL of the preschool toys at once. Also, I tend to browse the Plan toys via the catalog link. But then when I want to actually buy one online, I need to go to the SHOP ONLINE link and find the toy all over again. Maybe merge the two areas?
  • Wow! I love Play Toys. I would like to see more about how they are Green. They have a little write up, but I'd love to see it laid out more. Do they use recycled packaging. Is their wood from a sustainable forest, or they giving profits to an environmental cause, are their any toxins in their products, etc. It is easy to say you are green, but I love seeing the proof! Thanks!
  • I was just telling a friend about their doll house and kitchen yesterday! I love their products but would definitely like to see more building block themes (castle, house, etc) and puzzles.
    Thanks,
    Davina
  • Marlene Vazquez
I love their toys but think they need to advertise more --- I have not heard of them before:)
  • Aura
They have great toys but I wish they had some games for older children.
  • vicki andrew
the site could be a little bit easier to use, but as for toys I would like to see more teaching diversity
  • Michelle
This is my first time at your blog, jumped over from Mcmama's blog. I do not even have my own blog, I read a friends He&Me+3(: Anyway, your blog seems sooo fun and I have never heard of PlanToys before... so I hopped over there and WOW! I love that they are eco-friendly and that they use recycled wood! Go Green! is right! They seem so simple and I love that about a company! And that they are making safe toys for our kids! I love toys made from wood( reminds me of the olden, simple days!) and I am sure they will last years and years made from God's earth! I am not sure what I can say about improving on the company... it seems like they are on the right track! Go Green and keep it simple!
  • debbie
Wow, what an amazing giveaway and a fun website! The only thing I would recommend is things for Babies! Thanks!
  • Staci J.
Their toys look fabulous. I just wish the website was a little better. There needs to be better search tools. I had a hard time searching for a certain perimeter.
  • Donna C.
Plan Toys really are the best. I would love to see a line of dolls added into the mix. I know they have the dolls that go along with the dollhouse but I was thinking more along the lines of soft babydolls.
  • I'd love to be able to search/organize by price. It's easier to find a gift in different price ranges that way.
  • I would the prices to be on their main page, so you wouldn't have to go to "Shop Online" to see them.
  • Denise
I love Plan Toys. We have their road and rail set and deluxe roadways and a bunch of food. I've been admiring this kitchen set and would LOVE to win. I don't have a suggestion in terms of what additional toys I'd like to see, but I do have a few small suggestions in terms of their website. I'd like to be able to "view all" and I'd like to be able to search for toys by age. Oh! Here's a suggestion for toys - 12 piece puzzles, for the toddler moving up from single piece puzzles.

    Thanks for the great giveaway!
  • I have your button on my blog.
  • Wonderful giveaway- I would love if they had like a workroom with diff benches like they do the kitchen- Ian would really love playing with something like that.
  • Newonda
The "gallery" aspect of the website where you can just look at the toys, needs to be integrated with the "store" part of the website.
Maybe this is an issue because the site can be viewed in different languages? Not sure, but it is difficult to figure out how to go buy an item or check the price.
  • Elizabeth
I'd like to see product reviews or a "most popular" section, to see what kids really love and what they toss aside in favor of the box!
  • Natalie
I'm a little frustrated that some of the buttons on the bottom of the page don't work for me-- navigation is frustrating in general. I LOVE the toys though. Love them.
  • Tammy
This is the first time I've heard of these toys. The kitchen set looks great!!! I have to agree with the other responders about the website. I'd like to click on preschool toys, and not have to go through any other sub-menus. I'd like a "view all" option, so I don't have to look under all the sub-menus. I'd also like to see the prices right within the initial catalog. With an "add to cart" button as most websites have. Would love to see some dolls offered, with all the bamboo products out there, I'm sure they could make some soft dolls with clothes from bamboo.
  • I have your banner on my blog! :)
  • I would like to see options of the same types of toys they have now, but unpainted. I think the wooden look would be great, especially for the kitchen items.
  • kay
it's a little difficult to see all of the products. a grid display would be better.
  • helen
I just purchased the plan toys tabletop set and inside the box it contained a catalog of all of the items. It'd be nice to have the suggested retail prices included.
  • Simone
I would love to see them have a see and say but for city noises. For example, the truck honks, birds squawk, fire truck woo woo, ect. Thanks!
  • Sky
I think it's kind of hard to navigate through the website. When I'm on the hunt for something in particular I'd like to either type the subject in on a search box or have the catagories broke down enough. There is great potential...Plan Toys are so innovative, the look great and I know they are great for my children.

    Thanks for this fantastic giveaway.

    seeryusfam@msn.com
  • shannon
I would love to see some durable outdoor toys. We are always looking for some quality outdoor items as my kids love to play outside!
  • Oh, my goodness, their toys are SOO cute! Their baby section needs a little work...it looks like they're going to be adding something more soon, though. Their website is so nice- I love being able to see the multiple pictures of each item- as gifts, these would be perfect!!!
  • April Jacques
Since my youngest is a baby boy I didn't see much for younger kids.
    Otherwise their site is great.
  • Melissa
LOVE Plan Toys, but I would like to see more variety available for the younger kids (<1 years)
  • I would love to see art supplies!
  • Karen M
Oh I want to win this for my grandkids so much!!! I wish their site wasn't flash, it's hard for lots of people to view flash websites. Also I'd like to see them introduce some soft toys. All in all, fantastic products and I'd be proud and honored to be chosen!
  • Kim
I think I'd suggest a more easy to navigate site. :)
  • autumh
I have your button on my blog sidebar!!
  • What awesome products and a fanastic giveaway! One thing that I have been looking for and can't find is a toddler (my daughter is 17 months) safe doll house with people without swallowable parts. I see you have something like that but for bigger kids. Would love to see a similar thing but for maybe a bit younger.
  • autumh
I do wish that their site was easier to navigate. Its frustrating trying to go through everything when your not really sure whats what.
  • Oh I just love Plan Toys! I didn't see a puppet theater. My girls love putting on a puppet show that would be my suggestion.
  • What a delightful giveaway! I really like the site design as it is clean and simple, but I do wish there was some kind of online purchase option, or at least an easy way to find local retailers.
  • Heather
I would make the product images clickable so when you click them you can see them larger. We are big fans of plan toys!
  • Danielle
I would prefer to be able to purchase direct also the site requires you to stay awhile to see everything. Other than that great company!

    mcginnisfamily5(at)gmail(dot)com
  • Thanks for this wonderful review & giveaway. Plan Toys has the most well made & eco-friendly toys! I love their products but always have a little trouble navigating their site. I would suggest categorizing their products and making pricing clear, and also being able to see several product listings on a page would be delightful & more user friendly.
  • You're on my sidebar!!
  • Rachel C
As I looked through the catalouge, I did not see any prices. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right place. If there are prices already, it would be good to make them a little bit m ore visable. If there aren't any prices listed, I would suggest adding them. It's super important to me to have an idea of what things cost. Awesome toys, though! Thanks so much!
  • First of all, I'm a graphic designer and ABSOLUTELY LOVE the design of your website. So fresh, yet very functional! Great job on that.

Secondly, I would really like to see a section devoted to special needs kids. We have a daughter with special needs and many of the therapists who work with her have your Assorted Fruits & Vegetables set that helps kids work on their fine motor skills/coordination cutting the fruits and veggies. I guess I'd just like to see more stuff like that geared specifically towards special needs kids who struggle with a lot of the skills that most kids just pick up on their own. Thanks for the opportunity to give feedback - it means a lot!
  • I have posted your button at my website!
  • I woudl like the website to have a "see all" funtion and the website overall was a little difficult to navigate.
  • Lacy
Cute toys, but very difficult to find prices or the type of toy you are looking for.
  • Maureen
I am making another entry because I just became a subscriber.. I am so excited.
I run an at home day care. My kiddies keep me busy and I try to not only keep them busy but also learning. My goal for this year is too make my home more green. I do the obvious things, recycling, turn off the light switch, and other things. But I want to really be Green and help to take care of this great planet earth.
I appreciate a company like Plan Toys that already has all those things in mind and has made great products to help us turn green.
I had some of my kiddies look at the toys on the site to see what they thought about the great stuff. They loved everything.
Maddie would like to know if you have baby dolls. I explained that baby dolls that are rubber are not green friendly.. She said a nice soft doll would be great. She passed on one made of wood.
The boys loved everything and mostly wanted to be that the cars would go FAST...
Thanks again for a great site
  • I love PlanToys! Plan Brings Smiles is awesome, with toys for kids who have special needs. To me it was a little confusing at first that they have the catalog items online but you cant click on them to buy. Then I saw the Shop Online button. Maybe they could make that button bigger and somehow differentiate more on being able to just look and see what they have to offer, and see what things you can actually purchase online :)
  • Melissa
Our family strives everyday to live by the 3 R's and love that these toys help us teach our daughter this concept too! Plan Toys help us as parents to breathe a sigh of relief in a world where we have to wonder and worry about what our kids are playing with---and if it's safe! Not with these fabulous toys! Many thanks to companies such as Plan Toys who truly "get it"and who help us to breathe easier everyday!
Perhaps including prices and close up views would be helpful to those looking online. Also buying online would be awesome! And not that I would want PlanToys to sell out their name, but my daughter does love Sesame Street! Would be nice to have healthy, safe options for her instead of the plastic paint covered items currently available.
  • I know the "baby" area isn't up and running yet.. but I hope that there is 'soft' play food included in that area.. Something that babies can chew on and then really play with it as they get older! I love the knit/felt play food that you can find on etsy. I think that would be a really nice touch to your site!

    Thanks!
  • Maureen
I love this plan toys site. Wonderful. I couldn't find much room for improvement with the toys. They have a wonderful assortment. There were a few things I would like to see them add. I would like too see a line of wooden puzzles. My kiddies love puzzles.
Also I would like to see some more outside type toys. Like things they could use in the sandbox, trucks, diggers, shovels, anything to play in the sand.
Also anything for outside, maybe a type of teeter totter, anything that will keep them burning energy. Must be safe of course.
Ride-ons are always a hit with the kids. They love Trains, Horses, Cars, Trucks, anything. They would love a train they could ride around on in the yard.
I love that they are made with such quality. I am new to the plan toy website but plan on being around for a while.
Thanks for asking for our ideas. You have fantastic toys.
    Thank You!
  • Kelly
I would like a "see all" option. Takes to long to just see a few at a time if you are truly browsing. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!
  • Leann S
My wed comment. I love how the toys are open ended to allow for imaginative play.
  • Barbara
I would really like to see a doll stroller-walker included in their products
  • Catherine KingChuparkoff
I really enjoyed perusing the site. It is a bit confusing and items could be grouped a bit better, but what great products!!
  • I have your button on my blog.
  • trishden
My suggestion is to clearly post the prices. I found a lot of inovative quality toys on the site, but have no idea how much they cost. Is this not a site to buy these items? I don't know and that confusion can be frustrating to the customer. Thanks for a great giveaway!
  • SLT
I love, love the option of buying green toys for my growing family. And this giveway is great!!

I found it very difficult when i went to the website to figure out how to purchase an item or at least see the prices of the items. I would also like to see more ride on toys. My son loves tractors and trucks, so i would love to see more of them to choose from. I look forward to the baby toys for my future children.
  • It's a little difficult to navigate. Is there a reason the products are displayed on one set of pages but the prices are on the Shop Online with the products displayed there as well? It's just a little redundant. The pages are a little bland. The site is for toys! Add some pretty colors to make it more fun to look at while you're there. When you do view the list of toys in a category in the Shop Online pages, there is a small picture on the left and it takes up an entire row to click 'ADD TO CART' on the far right of the page. This could be put into a block style with the title of the item above the picture, price right below, and put the ADD TO CART only on available items. If it's not available, put Not Available instead of the ADD TO CART button. I hope this was a little helpful. I do love the toy selection offered. The prices are fair for the products. I do like the size of the image displayed and detailed descriptions when you select a product for more information. That makes things easier to decide if you'd want to buy or not. Thanks for the opportunity to win this! My daughter loves pretend play and these pieces are just adorable (and sturdy from what I can tell!) so she'd love this.
  • Laura Miller
The site is great, but a little hard to navigate in. I would suggest clickable pictures (I can't tell you how many times I tried clicking the picture before getting the hang of the link below!) Also, the price listed below the pictures would be great. I think it would be great too, to be able to just scroll through the whole list of items in a category rather than having to flip through pages. Or at least make it easier to click to the next page instead of such teensy numbers at the bottom.

    Love the product though!
  • Gloria
Be able to purchase ('add to cart') immediately...not have to "got to shop."
  • I'd love to be able to click on the photo of the toy to get additional info instead of just on the words. Once there, I'd like to be able to see a close-up view of the toy as well.

We don't have any Plan toys, but I will be back to your site. These look like well-made, quality toys that I would love to give as a gift or have in my home.
  • Amy B.
I would love to see more musical toys. All my kids through the years have been playing with every musical toy I or someone else have gave them. I love the musical toys they have.
  • Tracey Byram
I don't see how they could possibly improve. The make some of the most inventive toys on the market, they are social conscious. Their products are durable enough to last for generations.
  • margaretsmith
I would like to see "all the items" available at once. Having a view all button would be wonderful.
Thanks so much for this wonderful and very generous giveaway.
  • MRS.MOMMYY
    needs better navigation
  • Linda Fish
I would like to see more manipulatives for preschool
  • Ann B
I know some very sweet little girls that would love this set up...
how nice it would be to see them enjoying hours of fun with these fabulous toys!

I love the look of the rocking elephant on the front page of Plan Toys' site -- but I can't seem to find that elephant on the catalog! I agree with what others have said about the site navigation and I will echo that I'd love to see more baby toys.
  • rebecca
oops, i put my comment regarding their giveaway on their website, oh well. I told them that i would like to see more color on their Doll Houses, of course it would be lead free and completely safe.
  • Pamella
I LOVE Plan Toys!!! I'd have to say their website is not totally user friendly, it's a bit confusing to get around. But their toys are amazing and we'd be honoured to receive this giveaway! My boys would just have a ball playing in this kitchen! Thanks!!!
  • Valerie
More baby toys along the same lines as their Roller. Bright, rainbow colored and simple - it would be great to see more rattles, shakers and even teething toys!
  • The company and their products seem awesome to me... My only suggestion would be that they consider how very, very, very tired and overdone this whole "green" thing has become. Green is great, we all know that, but this "go green" concept is getting about as annoying as all those anti-smoking "truth campaign" commercials are. In other words, we know, we know, we know... Sell the toys, make children's happiness the focus.
  • Sandy G
Love the toys, but apparently there is no toys aimed at ages 6-12 months when I searched. I also like it when you do not have to press the search button. Once I have entered an option, it is great when a site automatically searches for you eliminating that one extra step.

I also like to have the prices right next to the item when searching instead of searching in the cart part of the site. Appreciate it that it lets me know if the item is available.

    Thanks
  • I have your button on my blog. www.pictureofmyworld.blogspot.com
  • I have your button on my sidebar.
  • I love Plan Toys and all they stand for. After looking through the site for what seems like the thousandth time...drooling over all the great stuff...I would say that the only thing I would suggest is that it would be nice to be able to view all the toys in a particular section, such as Plan City or Plan Preschool, versus having to click through each section.
  • Christina G.
    I added your button:

    http://wutgivs.blogspot.com/
  • I love plan toys! We have quite a few already and would love to add to our collection. I know they are in the process of expanding the baby line but I have some suggestions for additional baby toys to include. I think that wooden trucks, trains, boats would be great. My son loves to push things around. Also more animals would be super!

    Thanks!
    Jessie
  • Christina G.
  • Christina G.
My only suggestion for improving the site would be to hold regular giveaways directly on their site. That would generate a lot of traffic, and eventually, a loyal following. Thanks for the giveaway!
  • Katy P
I would like if they offered more toys for infants.
  • Liz
What cute items! I think they all look wonderful! I would like to see some sort of bike that is a balancing bike. I have seen them elsewhere, but now that I need one I cannot find them. That would be great!

Also I do not care for the drop down menu for the top menu. It is hard to hover and try and click on the choices. Maybe something that is a little more easy to navigate as well. Hard to find the age groups and why it is set for the age group.

    GREAT GIVEAWAY!!!

    ~Liz

  • Leann S
I teach preschool and I really liked this site. I would like to use products that teach and inspire without harming the enviornment. I would suggest more toys aimed at girls. This could be horses or babydolls.
  • Maddison Lee
I would like for them to put the price on the toys and also from experience make the velcro stick a little better. It gets worn out after a little bit. Great job!
  • I was just introduced to Plan Toys tonight and I love everything that I see. I love how unique the toys are. I'm expecting in May and we plan on getting our little girl as many "green" toys as we can. I'm so tired of all the plastic light up toys that do not leave much to the child's imagination. The kitchen set is so much fun! The dollhouses are also wonderful.
  • Of course I meant---the LESS I have to move the mouse around, the better!
  • We'd love to win this set!

This was my first time to the Plan Toys site. If never heard of the company until now. What awesome products!

I immediately noticed a few things that I would suggest for improvement.

    1. The ability to View All, rather than go page-by-page

    2. Prices below items

    3. Clickable pictures--the more I have to move the mouse around, the better

Thanks for the chance to win this awesome set of toys!
  • I added your button to my blog! :)
  • I love how you can search by both age and child development. I also like the "playtime ideas" links. I would also be nice to have a "buy it now" button and prices listed.
  • I was really impressed with the selection that is offered, I LOVE the ride-on's! I'm so glad I found out about this company...one less positive thing the web site is a bit slow, it takes a while to look through the products.
  • Laura Gent
I would day the website navigation and honestly, the prices on some of the items. It is nice to be eco-friendly, but some of us on budgets have a hard time justifying spending so much on toys for small children. I would love to win the kitchen set, but honestly, I would never be able to spend that kind of money on something like that for my daughter. But I definitely loved looking around at the products! :o)
  • Jessica
I'd like it if Plan Toys would put their prices directly next to the picture of the toy. Love that kitchen!
  • dorothy l
I would love to see a garage set like the kitchen set
  • Sonya
I'd love to see more variety of food for the kitchen. There are fruits and vegetables and breakfast, but it would be great to have a better variety for play.
  • R Hicks
I would like to see more items with reviews before buing
  • Kathy Scott
It would be nice to have some outdoor toys.
  • I'd like to see Plan Toys make an effort to advertise their products using children of all abilities, genetic make ups etc.

And with keeping within the special needs theme, making sure that all buttons, levers, etc. on their toys are easily usable for little one with weak muscle tone.
  • Kaycee
I would love to see some more infant wooden toys like rattles or teethers. Also, it would be neat to see more ethic types of wooden food toys. I love that toaster!!!!

    kayceewilliams at gmail dot com
  • Mindie W
Like many other comments suggest, I too would like a "view all" option and a "buy it now" button...
As far as other items I would like to see in the future - more outdoor items !
  • I felt a little confused when trying to figure out how to make a purchase and trying to figure out the price. At first I decided that I couldn’t buy the toys through the website. If I was actually shopping I probably would have browsed away before I figured out how to make the purchase. Your prices are very reasonable, I think it’d be fine to have them there with the toy. Or else make a little dollar sign and put it next to the safety info.

I'd be so thrilled to win this contest. Our kitchen set is 100% plastic. We got it 2nd or 3rd hand, so it's also old and faded. Overall I love your products and so far I haven't thought of something else you could offer that you don't already have. The building blocks were probably my favorite thing.
  • I have your button on my blog.
  • These look like great toys! The website is a little hard to navigate, though. It is a little hard to find everything that they have.
  • I would like to see more items per page, the price of each item listed below the picture, it would help if the picture was clickable to get more information... a big suggestion would be to have the items you find when browsing the catalog directly linked so you can add it to your cart instead of having to then find it in the online store. i'd like to be able to narrow stuff down by age group. also, some legend that tells you what the symbols in the green boxes mean.

my little girl is only 2 months, but i bet she'll grow into that kitchen set :)
  • I love the Plan Toys line. You can actually give it to your child and feel like it is a safe toy. My twin girls love all of their toys by Plan ~ some of their favorites for sure!

One option could be since they are an eco-friendly store is to give the customer the option to choose a to use a re-used box. I have seen many "green" stores do this and their wording is something like this: Let me help reduce my carbon footprint of my order – Please pack order in a re-used box if possible!

Also, they could put "green" tips on their website and send out a monthly newsletter. I always love getting tips about how to be more environmentally conscious.

Lastly, a "View All" option would be nice to have to see all of their products on one page.

    Thanks!
  • I love your line of toys! I think some game sets would be an excellent addition.
  • Nicole
There toys are great, but their site isn't the easiest to navigate. I love the product and the idea of "green" but there should be the suggested retail price listed, and a buy now type feature. OR a link to where to buy, I see they have a shop but it took me a bit to find it !!
  • Stacy
Have a gift registry for birth or holidays.
  • I like the girly toys, but I also have an affinity for pink. Hows about some girly pink toys?
  • Erin Cress
    What an awesome kitchen set!

I think the thing I would improve on their website is that the website is kind-of confusing. You click on an item and the website just describes it, doesn't list a price or how to order and then there is a separate tab for online shopping. It's kind-of confusing. It looks like a cool site other than that!
  • I wish I could see more items per page and perhaps some more pictures with babies and kids interacting with their toys. Seems a little sterile.
  • The kitchen is amazing!

The reccomendation I would make towards the website, is easier viewing of the products. It would be nice to see all the toys from a category on one page.

The other thing that would be really nice, would be if their toys were available in actual stores in my area. The prices of their toys aren't exactly what you would call reasonable, so it's hard to see paying shipping on top of the already high price.

That being said though, their product is awesome and I would/will definitely purchase some for my kids!
  • What an amazing give away, as I have an almost 2 year old little girl and she would just go bananas over this!!

This is actually my first time to your site as I found it on MckMamas blog and its my first time hearing about this company! I check out there site and thought it was nice! Like a lot of people had said it isnt the best to navigate! I would also like to see all toys instead of just a few at a time. Its easier to see more and it gets you to where you want to be a lot faster! Maybe have the age range for each toy a little more visible!

Other then that, great give away and will be back for sure!
  • Kim
I have never heard of the company before. This contest is a great chance for me to learn about new toys for my child. I think the the website is hard to navigate between pages--always having to go back to the top of the page. The pages are wider than my screen and I almost missed some of the information on the right of the screen.
  • Cathy W.
I would like to be able to see all products at one time. The categories are a little confusing, i.e., plancity, planlargescale. I didn't have any idea what those meant and had to click on the link to have an idea of what they meant.

That being said, the products look fabulous and really well made. Thanks very much for the giveaway opportunity.
  • I have your button on my blog: Here

    mommyhoodisthankless{AT}gmail.com
  • I blogged about this giveaway: Here

    mommyhoodisthankless{AT}gmail.com
  • I think company is awesome, but I would like to see them improve the navigation of their website. Being able to add an item to my cart or a wishlist when I see it, instead of having to return to the top and go to shop online. What a great giveaway!
  • I think more outdoors toys would be ideal!
  • Peggy
It's hard to say something negative about such a great company with beautiful products! It's obvious that Plan Toys doesn't stop at being the best in safety and style, they want to improve! Truly an awesome company.
  • Joe
My suggestion is that they should add more PlanToys large-scale toys.
  • judy brittle
I wish they could have a sidebar list of every product they have. It would be so much easier to check out the great toys.
  • Mary
maybe a "buy now" thing to click on when you view a product? i LOVE the toys!
  • KATHY S
Plan Toys website has very detailed, colorful pictures showing their products.
I wish though, that they would have a column to the left (such as some big time clothing websites have) individualizing the products into categories by gender, age or item (such as doll houses, riding toys, pull toys, dolls, etc.) This would be better than their method of the shopper having to go to the top of the site. I also love the idea of a category being able to be seen in its entirety such as clicking on "view all."
If I won this amazing prize, I would be so happy because my 2 granddaughters have all the toys they could ever want, and I would suggest to my daughter that we could donate it to some kind of Head Start child care program, or one like it who aren't fortunate enough to have the toys that are in many private preschools.
  • I agree with Stacy about the drop-down menus being irritating because you wind up mousing just slightly over a little and click the wrong things. I'd also like to see a search box on top of each page, instead of at the bottom of only some of the pages, to search for toys by age and type.

Thanks so much for this amazing giveaway.
  • Sheila H
Great site! I would like to if you could mouse over the pictures and see an image closer, and if the pictures were clickable that would be great!
  • shari
Got your button on my blog at keenanmelia.blogspot.com
  • shari
I would love to see some expanded food items for their kitchen play--some ethnic foods such as sushi would be great!
  • Jannet Tseng
In the Dollhouse please make the girl doll look cuter and dress more up to date clothes.
  • Kristina G.
Awesome giveaway! I think Plan toys coul inculde wooden dolls...dolls similar to puzzles where you can drss them in different outfits. Great company, keep on doing what you're doing! :)
  • I would love to see a larger table for art. I have three children and need a table big enough for them to use for art projects.
  • Kristy V
This kitchen set is fantastic. One thing that I would like to see is more toys geared towards older children. I would also like to see things seperated by what age the toys are geared towards. Thanks!
  • Maggie M
Wow! What a fantastic giveaway! My granddaughters would love and cherish the PlanToys Kitchen forever! I can't even imagine winning it, I think I'd faint, lol. I don't see why PlanToys couldn't just combine their two web sites and add the Shop Online feature to their web site. If that's not possible, I'd prefer they remove "Shop Online" from their Product Category drop down menu and make it a drop down menu (of it's own) right next to the "PlanToys Catalog" drop down menu, and, under the Shop Online drop down menu, list "shop by age", dexterity, skills, etc., and, add a Plan Baby heading/section to the Product Categories. I'm in love with PlanToys, their toys, their philosophy, their eco-friendliness and social responsibility. They are clearly ahead of the rest!

  • carol
I would like for you to jazz up your graphics!
  • Melissa O.
As some have already stated, I do not like to go through 6 or 7 pages. Maybe along with view all they can add a view x items per page option. Another thing I would like to see as far as products would be baby doll furniture, like a crib, high chair and rocking cradle. Also the navigation bar drives me crazy! I have to struggle to get to the right link on the drop down menu. But their products are awesome! Thank you.
  • Quanda
I would like to see teen products on their website.
  • Would love more smaller, affordable toys. Maybe some really high quality puzzles and blocks.
  • I love Plan toys the way they are, my daughter just suggested you make more Orange/Pink toys....she's going thru a Pink phase. Thanks!
  • Karla
Would love to get a catalog, not sure why I like to hold the catalog in my hands...will sign up for one !
  • I have your button on my blog!

    www.grabbagreviews.blogspot.com
  • Plan toys is excellent as they are, but I would love to see a Stand Mixer and some pretend play... dress up type things.
  • Marlene Vazquez
I love their toys they look durable and something that can be passed down for generations. Thanks for the great contest:)
  • Amy L
Well I know that they're www.naturesbounty.com/wina green company and with utilities and materials this would fufill that mission, nevertheless, I would love to see a Plan Toys here in NM that I could go to. Or maybe a traveling Plan Toys expo to introduce more people to their remarkable toys.

I also would like to see a price. I know there is a saying, if you have to ask, you can't afford it. That isn't always true. Some people refuse to even ask, if they don't have the convenience of a price right out front, they move on.
  • I would like to see more water-sand exploration toys for outdoor use.
  • Your button is on my blog:

    http://me-lace.blogspot.com/
  • I'd like to see an older kids selection of ride on toys like a balance bike for that 4-6 age group.
  • Lisa
Love, love, love PLAN!! Bellaziza's Favorites, you're the best!
  • Summer
This is amazeing I love their stuff! I think that they have alot of items it needs to be easier to navaigate not quite sure how but an idea!
  • Vikki Parman
I do like the website. One suggestion - I am interested in railway stations, and when I reviewed the one available on the site I couldn't find the price, which is a deciding factor in purchases for me.
  • Elisa
On the website, I would like to have the option to "view all" while browsing a section of toys. Also, a suggested price would be nice to see on the items.
  • I would like to suggest that they allow Pay Pal purchases. Thanks.

    gahome2mom(at)gmail.com
  • I loved the shop! My one suggestion would be to put prices below the pictures of the item. Thanks!
    millkara [at] gmail.com
  • I adore Plan toys! When i was checking out there page i was happy to see a plan baby section, yet it was still under construction. I'm hoping they are designing more infant toys, as that would be my suggestion. Its so hard to find safe quality toys for my 6 month old.
Thanks for the chance to win
    Tara
  • Kelly
It would be nice to see the prices of the toys on either the first page (when you've clicked on the general category of toy you want to see) or at least after you've clicked on the specific item. I am a price-conscious shopper. Often, the more expensive items are MUCH better quality, but it's nice to have that price information up front so it doesn't take up too much of the consumer's time searching for that information.

I do love your products. The chalet dollhouse is adorable!
  • Barbara H.
While I appreciate as the mother of two boys the gender neutral nature of most of your items, I am also a mother of a girl who thinks that the world revolves around the color pink so it would be nice to maybe see a dollhouse or something that is more girly looking.
    Great products!!!
  • Michele
I love Plan Toys so much! I do wish they had something similar to Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars. My son loves (I mean LOVES) those and they are so cheaply made and don't seem safe. I would love if there were a track or even alternatives to the cars themselves.

On the site itself, I wish the toys were able to be sorted by age and type. For instance, I wish I could click on "preschool" and see all of the preschool type toys. Then click on a subcategory and view the "dexterity" toys, and then the toys that would fall into the "baby" or "under 3" category, etc.

    Thanks!
  • Shelly
I would like to be able to do more general searches - like all toys for a skill or an age group.
  • Hello Bellaziza readers! I'm the Marketing Coordinator for PlanToys and I must say that I truly appreciate all of your great comments thus far! 2 comments to address: PlanToys does have toys that allow children to build various items. (60 construction set & 30 construction set). I myself have tried out those items and have enjoyed them immensely. Also, we are hoping to expand our PlanBaby line so I hope to keep Bellaziza posted on that next year.

    Best,

    Gina
  • i would like to see some bathroom items. is it possible to make some bath toys? also a bath step stool (with storage space in it) so that my child could reach the sink.
  • Amy B.
There is really not much to improve. I would say maybe to have the prices on the plan toys website instead of having to click to go to another website. Just have it all in one. Thanks for the chance.
  • Natalie
I would like to be able to see a close-up of the products!
  • Karin C.
I had hoped to see more for children a bit older also. Everything is so well made and can be passed on to the next child. Maybe this line can be expanded to include puzzles or creative toys for the next age group up.
  • WOW!! This is an amazing gvieaway!! I would like to see prices on the items.
    thanks!
  • Aura
They're a really generous company with wonderful toys, I just wish it was easier to shop directly from their site rather than having to open another one. And, I would like to be able to find toys based on age or development in the opening drop down menu instead of product description
  • I would like to suggest a natural color line of their kitchen toys, so we don't have to worry about chipping paint even if the paint is lead-free. It just looks better longer and matches the rest of the house better! :)
  • kay
i would suggest a "show all" instead of having to click to view each page.
  • helen
this is an awesome giveaway! it'd be nice to be able to purchase the product directly while browsing instead of having to go to the store.
  • Shelene
I would really love to see what kind of real Playhouses you could come up with. I do like your largescale items. You make such amazing stuff and it hard to find good quality play houses for kids to play in. I just dont care to much for the plastic ones that you can find.
  • Therese
What a wonderful and generous prize ! Your products are so perfect now the thing I would suggest is making it easy to get to pricing and ordering. We Moms have alot on our plate and could use some fast and easy any time. Thanks for listening.
  • I like reviews, too. i like to see how other children enjoyed a particular toy before I purchase it.
  • LN
The intro to the site is a bit slow, and can discourage people from really seeing.
Put a search button on the main page, and not only once someone has gotten to the catalog.
Add a sorting feature, and display the price.
The current page display is a bit funny on my Firefox 3.0 for Linux. Opera displays everything on one screen, but the FF makes me scroll down just to get the link for the next page.

Thanks for a wonderful giveaway and for producing quality toys!
  • I have your banner on my sidebar :)
  • I would like to see some up-close pictures of the toys on the website, like a micro view of a part of the toy.
  • Nick
I was thinking that since Plan Toys also has a base in Thailand, maybe they could start a program of donating toys to underprivileged kids in Thailand or neighboring Laos.
  • pamr
I would like to see large building toys that kids can put together, with screwdrivers, etc. My son loves to build toys!
  • Stephanie V.
Would love to see an African drum and guitar added to your music section.
  • autumh
I have your button on my blog sidebar.

    http://justanotherhofeling.blogspot.com/
  • autumh
I love plan toys but I really wish they had a little more selection of toys oriented towards boys besides the car and train play sets.
  • I would like to see suggested retail prices when browsing your products, or at least have a link to click on for online purchasing so I can check the price for each item.

Other than that, the toys are really great.
  • laurie
I would really really love to see Plan Toys incorporate a trade aspect into their site - send your loved toys to another family as a trade... earn points as you share to trade for other toys from Play Toys. I think it would be a great way to extend the life of these great toys, and also inspire more imagination among children as they play with different toys. (And, our neighborhood and my daughter would LOVE all of the kitchen goodies to play with!!!)
  • connie
I think Plantoys is really a fantastic company. I do agree that the site navigation isn't the easiest. More options in which to search would be helpful since sometimes you don't know what you are even looking for. Thanks for such a great and exciting giveaway!
  • Sky
I've got your button on my sidebar!

    http://seeryus.blogspot.com

  • One of my biggest pet peeves about many websites is the way the drop-down-type menus are formatted. When they are not static it is far too easy to end up clicking on something you didn't mean to! I like that they have their suggested ages listed with each toy but it would be nice to see that before you read the toy's description.
  • Sky
I'd like to see dolls for little girls. I know that there are dolls for the doll houses, but I have a 16 month old who LOVES being a little mommy. She just adores playing with dolls! I'd love to find some dolls that AREN'T made out of plastic. Something eco-friendly. I try to teach my children all about being kind to our earth, and I like to reflect that into their toys.

Thanks for such an INCREDIBLE giveaway!!

    seeryusfam@msn.com
  • Newonda
Maybe it would be good to have a place for customer reviews.
  • It would be nice to be able to see more than 6 items on each page. I usually like to view more than that at a time so that I can better compare items. It is just makes for less scrolling. Everything else is very well organized in categories.
  • One thing I'd love is a buy now button on the product pages. It's easier to browse Plan Toys, find what I want and then go directly to purchasing. Even if it was a button that linked to online stores that carried that specific toy it would work.

I like how you have the ability to see the different categories for each area (preschool, city etc), but it would also be nice to be able to see everything for preschool at once. It takes a lot of time to go back and forth between the categories (for example deterity, music toys, push and pull).

I think their toys themselves are fantastic, so well made!

Thanks for this wonderful giveaway. Plan Toys has the most wonderful, well made toys!
I would really love to see a botton that you can see all the toys at once, also a listing of prices, like 0-50, 51-100, etc. shown. Also a listing of a breakdown of boy, girl or both, would be nice.
    Thanks so much!

Love these toys! And the kitchen set is so great. I love that it's gender neutral and not just for girls. I think a balance bike would fit in great with their product line and I didn't see one on their website.

This is a great selection of giveaway items. I would like to see a few more toys for the younger set, 0-6 months. I'd also like some explanation for their age guidelines. I know 12-18 month olds love the water blocks, but they are designated for 3 and up.
  • i have your button on my blog.

  • What great toys! I loved browsing there and found a lot of new toys that I'm sure my kid will love.

I have 2 suggestions with regard to the website. One, to make the pictures themselves clickable, instead of only the links below them. Second, to put the prices below the pictures.

Otherwise, I loved that site and their varied selection.
  • Those toys are adorable!! I would like to see a shop online button at the top instead of having to find it.

I would love to see more outdoor toys. I love PlanToys and love this giveaway! My two year old would go nuts for this set and loves to help me cook. We have a wooden puzzle set and the pull alligator and both are much loved at our house. The quality is fantastic!
  • I have your button on my blog.
  • It's nearly impossible to find something for Plan to improve upon, but I suppose they could add some games to their line of products. I imagine they could come up with some pretty cool wooden ones.

hoping this is open to us Canadians.

i was looking at the shipping info and it says that shipping to other countries you may be charged extra tax and duties.
But underneath it says it will only ship within the United States?

I'm a little confused on this.
Otherwise it looks like a great site and hope you do ship to Canada!

Hi, I think their site could me made more easy to navigate. On one side, there could be a listing of toys by age and on the right, their company and other information listed. That way, there would be no need to click on the top banners to receive all of the choices. A customer could view all of the choices. Also, It would be nice of they sponsored some type of fair trade for their toys to be made. Thanks, Cindi

I would like it if their age suggestions was in plain view on the left side of the page.
  • This is an amazingly wonderful giveaway! We'd be thrilled to win, as we love the Plan Toys we do have (our favorite is the click clack tree).

My website suggestion may seem like a small thing, but it bothers me that in browsing the toys there is not an option to "see all" - instead I have to look at only six at a time and then click to the next page. I prefer to see all toys in a category at once to compare and get a good overview to decide what I'd like to see in more detail.

Thanks for offering this terrific prize!
