Boy swag…I really love the costumes, very authentic.

  • Stephanie V.

love the pirate dress up for boys (boy swag please). just wish there were more dress up items for boys since most places are lacking in that department (boys need pretend stimulus too).

  • rebecca

I loved the peter pirate jack in the box and lunch box, which I would buy if I won the Boy’s swag..

  • rebecca

If I won the girls swag, I would for sure get a Flatsy doll. I remember having one just like it. Great giveaway, thanks.

  • http://www.bananasandberries.com barbarabaker

I love the Flatsys world section along with the dress up section for the kids…what imaginations they can have with this stuff. I have two little girls (5 and 7) that would benifit greatly from these products.

**** I am also subscribed to your RSS via email: 74 barb at g mail dot com

GIRL SWAG – I am amazed at the prices at Shylling Toys. They are so reasonably priced, especially when you have 4 children finding a good place to shop for toys is wonderful! I will so be going back there!
I really love JR CHEF BAKEWARE SET for my 2 youngest daughters who would have so much fun playing this!
Thank you so much for the chance to win it would help so much!

  • Lori M.

I Love the retro vintage choices in toys. Makes if fun for the little ones and sentimental for myself. The Flatsy dolls also caught my eye, and brings back childhood memories. Thanks for the opportunity.

    Girl Swag

I love everything about it. I could entertain my one year old for a long time with a variety of stuff from this site. My favorites were the jack-in-the-boxes, the circus stuff (especially the ball because balls are my daughters all time favorite toys) and the pretend play because what kid doesn’t like to dress up?

  • http://blessedbarnharts.blogspot.com Ashley Barnhart

Boy Swag- I really like the unique look to the products and that they inspire creativity- the toys seem to serve a purpose!

  • http://barefootmommies2.blogspot.com angela roy

I simply love the Baby Grand Piano! What a great price as well. I expected this site to be super high priced for simple pleasures, instead i found a ton of toys i would definately buy for my girls at prices i could afford. Your dress up costumes are the best prices i have ever seen. What a Supurb Find!!

My only negative comment would be about the shipping information, It does not specify how items are shipped (ex- fed ex, usps, ups dhl) & the only reason im picky about this is that so many places will not ship APO/FPO Military mail. Before i make a purchase i ALWAYS make sure its worth spending my time on there site because they will ship here. So that would be a little plus side if they could update that information.

Pleaseee pick me as i would just love that baby grand piano.

    Swag GIRL!

  • Alexandra

    BOY SWAG- please!

The website has well defined categories listed under the catalogue. This makes searching for your items easier to accomplish. I like that so many of their items are gender neutral: the classics, the musical toys. (Too bad the “flying things” category is blank!

I wish more of the “pretend play” category was gender neutral. Handing down toys is quite important to most moms!

  • Melissa O.

  • Alissa

    (GIRL SWAG)

I really like that Schylling sells puppets. They are an “old fashioned” toy but when the kids at our library play with them, they always have a BLAST. Puppets are great for the imagination and I think they should be in more kids’ toy chests instead of video games!

  • Alissa

    (BOY SWAG)

I also really like that Schylling toys are interactive!

The pull down menu was annoying, and when I clicked on the Flatsies on the main page, it brought me off their site. I could not find them in the pull down menu. Not an easy site to navigate.
    The toys are great, though.

  • http://www.qtpies7.com Qtpies7

  • http://www.watchingthewaters.wordpress.com Corey

BOY SWAG: Love the music section, there is great variety there. Also the outdoor tools/gardening stuff & the flashlights. My kids love all of that. I originally looked at the ride-ons as my 4 year old LOVES cars.. but it looks like he is too big for most of it.. I wish there was more, or maybe I wish that he was smaller? Also while I think that the diecast cars are cool (retro), I don’t think he would play with them like he does his Hot Wheels. I was really impressed with prices.. $200 would go a long way. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • Trish

GIRL SWAG please! I love the fact that they love classic toys, but also focus on new products, concepts and play patterns. Cool company, thanks for bringing them to our attention.

GIRL SWAG: My girls would like the music section, also the outdoor tools, gardening stuff, flashlights. They would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Pretend Play section, and there is good variety there. But where is the Flatsy Doll? Why is it featured on the homepage but I can’t buy it from the catalog? That’s weird. I was really impressed with prices.. $200 would go a long way. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • http://capellclan.blogspot.com Sheila Capell

BOY SWAG: I liked all the different kinds of tea sets that they had. I have two boys, and I’m not so sure my husband would be thrilled with them having a tea party, but there’s one in there with bright colors that could totally be for boys!

  • http://capellclan.blogspot.com Sheila Capell

    GIRL SWAG: I thought the drum and the electric piano were pretty fun looking. I might have to send the kids outside to play with them though!! We could have our own real rock band with kids…none of this video game stuff!!! {wink}

    (GIRLS SWAG)

It’s great that Schylling provides toys for money management!

  • Alissa

(BOY’S SWAG) The Musical Hand Bells are a great way for kids to get into instrument playing. However, it would be nice if Schylling had more options, perhaps a xylephone, small flute or recorder, etc. I think children may get tired of the slide whistle quickly (the bells could last longer since there are many simple songs to play like “Twinkle Twinkle”. When I was young, I would have loved a small practice flute or guitar.

I’m not sure what I love more about Schylling, the fact that they are wholesome toys or that in our economy with how it is, they are incredibly affordable! With the Girl Swag, I could spoil my Niece how I always wanted! Another thing that I was absolutely tickled about is that not only are there none, but Hannah Montana nor Spider Man/Batman/Hulk or any other super super hero was being shoved down our throats, like you see at other stores.

  • Maggie M

I forgot to mention in my entry today how much I adore the Schylling Flatsy Dolls in the Girl’s Swag. My granddaughters would love to style their hair with the special comb and put hair clips in their hair. I love their description of these 1960′s remakes of the flat doll that “they’re flat and that’s that”. Great addition to the Girls Swag prize package:)

  • Ann Marie Walker

“Girl Swag” Omg I loved the site and all the things that Schylling offers. I loved the fact that they carry the vintage style toys too. They remind me of the good old toy stores we used to have as a kid. You can find regular toys plus a vast array of things you could not find in local stores. I couldnt believe that the prices are very reasonable too. While looking at the site I actually called my sister to get online and forwarded her the site. We have been trying to find different and unique or good old fashion toys for Christmas. I have 4 kids, and I’m finding it hard to find the right gifts. I found tons that they would love. The pretty tea sets, the airplane, and the fruit clock. My 10 yr old loves science stuff and would love that. Even the simple magnet set is cool when your a kid. You don’t find things like that around where I live.

  • http://capellclan.blogspot.com Sheila Capell

GIRL SWAG: I love all the dress-up outfits, especially boy outfits, you don’t see many for boys and they like to dress up too…I actually wish they offered more of a selection for boys.

Boy Swag – The Chalk Board Brief Case is another item that is great for preschoolers. We used to have a huge chalk board for our children and it got too old and fell apart. LOL We took the trays from the craft store Michaels and painted them. On the inside, we used chalk board spary paint. My daughter loves them but the Chalk Board Brief Case has a tray to store things and a dry erase board. Extras: It has box of colored chalk, a dry erase marker and eraser. :) What fun learning can be!

I wish there were other sets (right now the only ones that are produced are the Mountain and Tree) because they are a fascinating example of science in the works.

GIRL SWAG – although I love all of their costumes and dress up stuff, I also like the Pretend Play category with the tea sets, ironing board, duster, bakeware and cookware, so the little ones can be like Mom or Dad. Wish they could combine a few categories like “Creative Play v. Pretend Play”.

Boy swag. I like the Curious George-Mood wooden puzzles. Kids can express how they feel when they don’t want to talk.

Schylling.com is a beautiful, colorful website.
