The Recaro Young Sport really is perfection in a car seat. The ideas and comforts behind it are something that we feel every parent can relate to and something that we would all naturally want for our children – the absolute best in both safety and comfort.
The Young Sport is seriously THE safest car seat on the market today. It is fully equipped with every possible safety feature, exceeding all mandated safety regulations worldwide, and even figuring in a few of their own! One of these, our Favorite, is the side impact protection that the seat provides. Not many car seats for our toddlers and older kids offer this at all, though it really does provide SO much more necessary protection!!!
After taking our time researching and then looking over this seat it is actually quite upsetting that the majority of our car seats fall so SO short of the extra protections that the Recaro products offer! These are our kids lives we’re talking about here! Also, it’s not a matter of buying the most expensive seat on the market, or the one that is said to be the best. Go look in many of your cars and you’ll see just the one that we’re talking about – yes that one – NO side impact protection at all and wasn’t it priced out at around $300 or more??? Yup. That’s the one. In our opinion, not even half the product that the Recaro is, just based on safety alone. Here’s a fun little fact too – Recaro, a German company, has built its reputation on the seats that they make for race cars! You know that they know their stuff when the boys at Monte Carlo and Indianapolis trust their lives to the protection that Recaro offers. We rest our case!
Rest? Comfort? Recaro!!! Without question, the Young Sport is also the most comfortable car seat available too! The side impact protection not only protects that cute little noggin, but also prevents it from slouching down if your little sweetie gets a little sleepy! How many times have you propped that little head up in the other car seat? No more! Rest assured that it’s all been taken care of.
The padding is so soft and cushy and the fabric is an ultra-soft microfiber that feels like silk velvet! It resists staining and cleans up incredibly well too as the cover comes apart in sections so you don’t have to disassemble the whole thing to take care of a mess. (TIME SAVER!!!)
Want more? Seriously??? What if in addition to being the safest, most comfortable, softest, easiest to clean, what if after all that it actually had a recline feature? Well it does just that. This feature was the sprinkles on the icing on the cupcake for us! When your little angel falls asleep, not only is he or she not going to wake up with the normal “I slept in my car seat” stiff neck, it can be a more restful sleep being reclined a little!
