Bellaziza’s Favorite Infant Car Seat – The Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 30-30

We have searched high and low for months for the BEST infant car seat that we can recommend to you, our fabulous readers.  It absolutely had to be the safest option available for your little one.  First things first, right?  It also had to be beautiful and made of the best possible materials to keep everyone looking fabulous.  It needed to be très luxe of course, and definitely made to last.  DRUMROLL PLEASE!!!  Welcome Peg Perego’s Primo Viaggio SIP 30-30 in Paloma!!!

The Primo Viaggio has been around for a long time, but the new model has much better features like side impact protection, the ability to secure your little one on the go up until he or she is 30 pounds, 30 inches, or one year old…whichever comes first.  That gives some peace of mind since most infant seats expire at just over 20 pounds, yet it is strongly recommended that your baby be in a rear-facing seat until they are a full year old.  For some children in the higher percentile range for weight or length, this can present some problems, or at least some lapses in car seat positioning… or something like that!  It’s irrelevant though now since with the Primo Viaggio SIP 30-30 lets you not have to worry about that.

What are the really special details, might you ask?  Our Favorites are the fact that you can adjust the straps without having to re-thread the straps, it’s ok to use without the base, and the choice in textiles definitely qualifies it under ‘très luxe’ as mentioned before.

The strap adjustment is so smooth and SO much better than having to re-thread the whole thing.  No offense men, but we just had to wonder if this was a mom’s idea.  BRILLIANT!

As nice as the Peg Perego bases are, and they TRULY are, sometimes you just wish you could go without and still be super safe, right?  Times like when you travel, are stuck in a rental car just for the day, etc…  It would be nicer to not have to uninstall and reinstall the base and just go solo with only the seat.  YOU CAN with the Primo Viaggio!  They also sell additional bases too for the second car or grandma and grandpa’s car.

The Primo Viaggio comes in many different colors and fabrics, but our favorite by far is their limited edition  ‘Paloma’.  (Can anyone say ‘Made in Italy’?!?!)  It’s a smooth, comfortable and extremely durable faux leather that isn’t sticky at all, but soft and comfy for baby.  It cleans so incredibly well!!!  It really is amazing and seems virtually indestructible.  It won’t stain, fade, tear, get that ‘washed’ look, etc…  It is superb.  Safety is always first with a car seat, but this luxurious touch is a very close second for us.  It also features ‘Confort Dry’ Microfiber Fabric (the black SIP insert) which is breathable and ultra soft on baby’s sensitive skin.  Bravo Peg!

We are expecting our 2nd and looking for a more user friendly car seat. Some things I like about this seat are that you don’t have to rethread the straps (something I’ve struggled with in the past) and that the car seat can be used by itself without having to take the base out. I doubt I would, but we’ve had instances where we only need to drive a few miles using a rental car and have had to move the base. I like keeping the base in the car once I’ve had it inspected. Thanks for sharing! This is great!

I LOVE the fact you don’t re-thread straps through the seat! Also, I am SO tired of moving car seats around in different vehicles. The fact that I can put this in any car without taking my car set up apart is priceless! Another big factor this seat has is the weight limit. We just had our 2nd child and I am concerned that he will exceed the Graco seat we have now long before he turns one year. this seat seems to meet lots of needs parents have even before they realize they have them.

I love the higher weight/height limit. I know too many people who only used their infant seat for 4-6 months because their baby outgrew it so soon!

I love that you can attach it to a stroller that makes transporting play safe and easy. Thanks. angel_2417@yahoo.com

I borrowed a Peg Perego seat from my brother when I was traveling with my son. I loved how easy it was to use. And the higher weight and height limit. Though the thing I think I love the most is that it is Made in Italy

I’m all about the Pliko Switch stroller. The design and versatility are outstanding. The sun shade reverses and it can be adjusted to any situation easily. I really like the non-cumbersome element.

I LOVE that they have made the carseat so that it will last longer than 6 months usage! The Height/Weight limit is structured so that usage will far outlast others on the market. I really hope I win, we can use it, believe me!!!

Since my daughter was born weighing close to 10 lbs, this top quality car seat would last longer than other seats.

I’m impressed by the pride the company takes in its products and that it has multiple plants, including one in Indiana. They employ a variety of experts “in research and development, fashion design, engineering, production and quality control” to ensure innovation and high quality.

I love that you can buy additional bases, we have such a hard time always switching our carseat base!

I love this seat for several reasons, my first two children have weighed in at ten pounds. So the higher weight limit is great. The other thing I love is you can get extra bases so no more switching from car to car. One for Dad and another for grandma which is going to make travel so much easier.

I just love the fact that they are made so durable. These will last through all the grandchildren.

I absolutely love the safety it has. I love how the base locks in super tight. My thing is it must not move and feel like its part of the seat. I also love how the chair has all the padding all over like a pillow to comfort the baby. Thanks so much for the giveaway!
