We simply love Boon!  Everything is always so well designed and functional, and the quality is always excellent. When we found out about all of the new brilliant additions to their line though, we just had to pass it on to you!

When we recently spotted this salsa recipe on Do Better, one of our favorite tips and tricks blogs, we knew you would love it! Doesn’t it look amazingly delicious?!? Well we whipped up a batch and it in fact is. Try it as the perfect addition to your Memorial Day feast!

Ramon’s Mango Salsa

1 ripe mango
1/2 red onion
1 bunch of cilantro
2-3 tomatoes
1 can of black beans
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 Tsp honey
season with salt and pepper
Chop all of the ingredients to roughly the same size. Stir. Drizzle in vinegar and honey. Stir again. Store covered in the refrigerator about an hour. Stir. Taste. Need salt and pepper? Add a little and taste again. Taste again. And again. Stop eating directly out of the container momentarily. Grab a fresh spoon. Eat again. Enjoy! Graciously accept the loads of compliments that are sure to come your way.

Okay so remember last fall when we reviewed Lemon Loves Lime, that incredible line of girl’s clothing?  I was absolutely taken from the moment that my eyes and hands met the samples.  Well, it’s happened again almost a whole year later!!!

Right Bank Babies is a refined, yet playful line of clothing out of California that uses simple lines with bold patterns to reflect a classic look with an edge.  WE LOVE THIS LINE!!!  Right Bank Babies‘ clothes are so wearable and perfect for everyday, out and about, or even more special occasions.

There are so many things that set this line apart from the others.  These clothes are very functional and actually last through multiple sizes!  They are all reversible also, so you get the 2′fer that we all love!  They have an amazing ability to almost tell a story too when mixed and matched… just lovely!

There is also an adorable little French lavender sachet attached to the tag of every garment, so they come to you with a whif straight from the Right Bank (as in right bank of the Seine River in Paris)!  For those of you who prefer a more bohemian left-banky type of look check out their other line Left Bank Babies.  It’s simple and chic, a free-spirited collection reflecting the artistic bohemian side of Paris.

Right Bank Babies clothing is so great to layer too.  We love the dainty look of their dresses on top of the skirts the most.  The skirt looks like just a hint of ruffle at the bottom and adds so much body!  It will make any girl feel like a princess.  Take our word for it, it’s an absolutely adorable look and completely unique!

We also really appreciate the fact that all of their fabrics are designed in-house with a limited run.  This is a big deal for a smaller company, and we give them credit!  We love you especially for this Right Bank Babies!  Good form!

On a more amusing musical note, remember in the Sound of Music when Maria creates the play-clothes for the children out of the drapes?  Well for those of us who thought those outfits were just charming, you will adore these clothes and Maria would have had an absolute field day clothing Marta and Gretl!  SO SWEET!!

We LOVE new pajamas around here.  It is tradition on Christmas Eve, and a super snuggly treat any other time too! Matching jammies is EVEN better though!  One for Mommy, one for Baby…too cute!

We love Hatley’s line of pajamas so much!  These are not your average jammie-jams though.  They are extremely well made, come out of the wash looking new, fit very comfortably, and look oh SO CUTE!  The patterns and colors are so unique and I really love how everything that they do has a sweet nature theme of some sort.  From lovely florals to woodsy moose prints, they really do have a great selection!

How to be your preschooler’s hero this weekend:

Just pick up a 6oz box of blue, yellow and red Jello plus a box of knox gelatin. To get these fabulous layers, mix the blue jello with an envelope of the knox gelatin. Pour in two cups of boiling water. Dissolve the gelatin. Add 1/2 cup of ice. Stir until thick. Remove any remaining ice cubes and any bubbles that may have formed. Pour into a 9×13 inch pan. Let set in the refrigerator.

Repeat with the yellow jello and pour it over the set blue. Repeat with the red jello and pour it over the yellow. And there you have it, Rainbow Jello!

We won’t go into the whole primary and secondary color thing, but these colors, when stacked upon each other, create other colors. There is not an orange or green layer. It just looks like it when the red and yellow layers touch and then yellow and blue layers touch.  Pretty cool!

Oh, and these can be made and cut a day ahead:)!
